FWD Insurance is excited to announce the launch of a digital ecosystem that rewards everyone for doing good by way of sharing financial life skills and helping bridge the protection gap in the country.

The groundbreaking FWD Affiliate Program is a first in the market. Everyone can be an affiliate by simply downloading the mobile app and completing the registration process for free. Through the app, our financial advisors can spread financial knowledge and awareness in a trust-based environment to help others upskill their financial management and start futureproofing with investments and life insurance.

At a time when Filipinos are stretching their budgets, now they can get expert financial self-help, and even be an ambassador helping others increase their financial IQ by sharing inspiring posts with rewards. According to FWD Insurance President and CEO Li Hao Zhuang, the Affiliate Program is a win-win platform for everyone involved. The app offers shareable financial knowledge, tools, and solutions while also creating employment, with an aim to start a virtuous cycle that directly empowers people and impacts enhances protection inclusion.

FWD Insurance and MCX Tollway, Inc., partnership unveils FWD - Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway (MCX) symbolizing the country’s road to progress

FWD Life Philippines, part of Pan-Asian insurer FWD Group, launched its partnership with AC Infrastructure and announce their Expressway Sponsorship Program which unveils the newly renamed FWD-Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway (MCX) on December 7, 2019, Saturday.

The celebration started with the FWD Orange Parade from Paseo de Magallanes in Makati, to the Grand Unveiling in MCX, and culminated with a media event at Acacia Hotel in Alabang. Through this partnership, FWD aims to elevate the MCX into a symbol of the country's “road to progress”.

The FWD-MCX, serves as a crucial artery between Muntinlupa and Cavite—connecting the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) to Daang Hari, Cavite and regularly serving thousands of motorists and commuters. With this newly signed agreement, the first of its kind for a Philippine insurer, FWD Insurance seeks to elevate the expressway as a symbol of the nation’s “road to progress”.

Used by more than one million cars a month, the FWD-MCX has shortened what was once a 20-minute drive from Daang Hari road to SLEX to only a three-minute journey.

Championing Economic Progress; Insuring FWD-MCX Motorists

“The FWD-MCX contributes to economic progress by enabling businesses to expand their geographic market reach outside of Metro Manila,” FWD Insurance Chairman of the Board and former Ambassador to the USA Jose L. Cuisia, Jr. said. “The expressway serves as a critical route for their operations and opens up opportunities for them to serve immediate local communities.”

Peter Grimes, President and Chief Executive Officer of FWD Insurance, said, “This is an exciting new venture for FWD and we’re proud to pioneer a program that has never been done by a Philippine insurer.”

As part of this initiative and to celebrate its fifth anniversary in the Philippines, FWD Insurance will be providing one-year accidental insurance to 500 customers with Php500,000 coverage to align with the insurer’s continuing efforts to protect more Filipino lives and secure their and their loved ones’ financial peace of mind.

Interested customers can go to bit.ly/SignUpForOffer and enter their details to qualify for the special offer, subject to terms and conditions.

Noel Kintanar, Chief Operating Officer of AC Infra and President of MCX Tollway, Inc., is optimistic about their partnership with FWD Insurance. “I am confident that through this agreement, we continue to provide a safe and convenient access for residents of south Metro Manila as this part of the metro emerges as a business and lifestyle hub,” Kintanar said. “More importantly, in collaboration with FWD Insurance, we hope to contribute in efforts to drive local economies forward.”

FWD Insurance in the Last Five Years and “The Road Ahead”

“The FWD-MCX is not only a road to us at FWD, but a notable landmark that stands as a testament to innovation and how far FWD has come in the last five years,” Amb. Cuisia said. “Since starting operations in the Philippines in 2014, we have achieved numerous milestones, becoming one of the country’s fastest-growing insurance companies and, more recently, consolidating our place as a top-ten insurer.”

“We’re excited to touch more lives as we play a role in building a more connected and progressive society,” Grimes added. “Much like how the newly unveiled FWD-MCX stands as a symbol of progress—now and in the future—we aim to encourage Filipinos everywhere to progress by empowering them to live life to the fullest, covered by our customer-led product innovations as part of our vision to change the way people feel about insurance.”

FWD Life Insurance innovates employee experience with WorksForMe program

At a time when work-life balance and personal time-off days have become strong buzzwords for employees, FWD Life Insurance (“FWD Philippines”) has gone beyond the tried-and-tested route and rewrote the employment rule book, enhancing its brand and business in the process.

Considered one of the fastest-growing insurance companies in the Philippines, FWD Philippines launched “WorksForMe” in 2018, its enhanced employee benefits program designed to help the organization’s workforce celebrate life while they work.

Through the program, FWD employees can now say, “At FWD, I can choose what works for me!” “WorksForMe is the outcome of collaborative efforts to improve benefits for our employees, after surveying what the challenges and areas of improvement were,” said FWD Philippines Chief People and Culture Officer Rozanne Parungo. “It all boils down to providing better experiences for our employees.”

Making Brand Advocates out of FWD Employees

There is a business principle that people-oriented leaders of organizations strive to adhere to: in order to best serve customers, employees need—first and foremost—to be empowered and to be motivated. They also need to stay fit to carry out their functions.

It all starts with top leadership intent on helping promote the health and well-being of a vital component in the organizational wheel: its people. Indeed, FWD Philippines’ unique people-oriented employee benefits program WorksForMe has the solid backing of senior leadership team, headed by President and Chief Executive Officer Peter Grimes.

Adapting to the Changing Times

“FWD pioneered the WorksForMe program to advocate work-life balance while empowering and giving our employees the flexibility to choose what works for them,” added Parungo. “Our new and improved employee benefits program is a testament to how we adapt to the changing times, strongly encouraging our people to live the brand spirit and “get ready to live” for themselves and their families.”

Part and parcel of FWD’s WorksForMe program are special leave entitlements for employees. As part of the program, employees’ vacation leaves (VL) can be rolled over during the next 12 months of the succeeding year. The longer the employee stays with the company, the more VLs they earn. Upon reaching the employee’s third year of tenure, an additional VL will be given, and one more every year thereafter up to a maximum of 24 total VLs annually, hence recognizing the employees’ loyalty.

Sick leaves, on the other hand, can be used up to the end of the year. Unused SLs can then be banked and converted to VL, as the employee elects. This benefit feature gives the employees the option to utilize their unused leaves in a way that is more suitable to them.

Pioneering Flexibility, Enhancing Productivity

The benefits do not stop there. Employees may work from anywhere (WFA) up to five (5) days for each quarter. All that is required is manager approval as well as availability of appropriate tools to perform tasks at the same productivity level offered by the office environment.

Flexible work arrangements have also received the FWD top-level management’s nod of approval. They show extra consideration for people’s mobility or commuting problems, as well as varying peak performance time. At FWD, employees can start their work day as early as 7 a.m. or as late as 10 a.m., with corresponding end of shifts at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., respectively. This flexibility is aimed at not only lessening the employees’ commute or transit time to and from the office, but most importantly enhancing their productivity level.

Parungo said, “The work schedule options allow our employees to be flexible and to be innovationfocused at the same time.”

Giving Back, Paying It Forward

FWD Philippines’ “Community Care Time-Off” serves the dual purpose of encouraging its workforce to pursue their passions through community service. Employees are given two (2) paid time-off days to give back to their communities.

In order to be entitled to the allotted paid time-off days a year, employees need to take part in FWD’s existing Community Care programs or perform charitable work/community service. Reinforced by the company’s own Community Care employee passion group (committee), employees are encouraged to take part in various efforts, internal or otherwise, supporting the community and contributing to their betterment.

Since the program’s launch, FWD employees have volunteered in the company’s host of Community Care partners Humanity & Inclusion, Special Olympics, and Tanging Tanglaw Solar Lolas Project. Beyond these initiatives, employees have likewise supported organizations that drive feeding programs, rehabilitation of the Pasig River, and even marathons whose proceeds go to charities, amongst others.

“Our values guide our actions, and so do our policies and practices,” Parungo said. “Engaging and letting people thrive and prosper is one of our key priorities. We want to constantly encourage our employees to support and take part in achieving FWD’s Community Care vision: to empower people to live fulfilled lives.”

Driving Positive Change for and with Employees

FWD employees are now as motivated as ever to go beyond their comfort zone and reach out to members of the community. “I feel my world is bigger because I get to explore and be in love with other activities outside work – like running, hiking, and volunteering for the environment,” FWD employee TJ Catapang shares.

WorksForMe gives current and future employees a better sense of what makes FWD a very good workplace to be part of. By contributing to its employees’ well-being through this program, FWD Life Insurance is not only living up to its vision of “changing the way people feel about insurance,” it also innovates employee experiences as it aims to truly become an employer of choice in the Philippines.

FWD Life Philippines launches Set for Tomorrow, financial protection for those you leave behind

FWD Life Philippines, one of the country’s fastest-growing life insurers, has introduced a series of new protection plans that can be tailored to meet individual customer needs.

“FWD’s Set for Tomorrow will provide protection for the people we love and care about. The coverage amount and period can be customized to any personal situation and budget. Our aim is to make real and substantial protection accessible to everyone,” said FWD Life Philippines President and Chief Executive Officer Peter Grimes.

Dubbed Set for Tomorrow, the insurance product has three variants that address the different needs to take care of those left behind should the unexpected happen—Short Term Cover, Income Protector, and Estate Protector.

“Set for Tomorrow caters to Filipinos from 18 to 70 years of age, from young urban professionals to retirees,” Peter added. “With very basic social security, many professionals have an enormous protection gap.”

Taking responsibility to protect those you love

In today’s uncertain world, FWD’s latest insurance product is there to protect the ones you love. Three common reasons that lead to financial problems for those left behind include:

  •  People have loans and accountabilities that are transferred to their family if they are no longer around
  •  Raising a family requires time and money. Also, if the breadwinner falls away, the family will still need money to continue living a life with dignity.
  •  People who build up wealth worry about what they leave behind and especially how to best avoid a family crisis in settling estate taxes and dividing assets. As part of any estate planning solution, long-term insurance coveragOe is essential to evenly share the assets and ensure those left behind feel equally treated.

Solutions that provide guaranteed protection and give you peace of mind

FWD’s Set for Tomorrow has three variants that meet the needs of the modern Filipino. Short Term Cover is an affordable term life plan that provides guaranteed life insurance coverage for five or 10 years.

Income Protector ensures that your family can continue their life even if you are no longer around. Lastly, Estate Protector is a whole-life plan that provides guaranteed life insurance coverage until 120 years of age.

FWD wants to guide people in fitting the right variant, protection amount, coverage period, and payment terms to the customer’s preferences and abilities. With this in mind, FWD launched online calculator “Cali”. By answering just a few questions, Cali allows you to determine the best solution for you and your budget. To find out the Set for Tomorrow plan that’s perfect for your budget and insurance needs, simply visit cali.ph/SetForTomorrow.

FWD’s Set for Tomorrow plans are now available through FWD Life’s Financial Wealth Planners. Interested customers may call the 24/7 FWD Customer Connect Hotline at (02) 888-8388 or chat with a Customer Connect Executive via FWD’s 24/7 Live Chat (www.fwd.com.ph) to set an appointment. The plans will also soon be available at all branches of Security Bank, FWD’s bancassurance partner.

5 Ways to Protect the Future You’ve Built for Your Family, Lay the foundation for their future, and go beyond it

The future is made of the small, everyday decisions that shape the kind of life you’ve envisioned for the people you love.

Starting a family? Scrimp and save to build your dream home. Striving to send your children to the best schools? Work hard at your day job and… your “rakets.” Planning to leave a legacy to your children and grandchildren? Wisely invest your earnings.

But don’t stop there because things don’t always go as planned. Jobs are lost. Unexpected expenses crop up. Not all investments pan out. It’s not enough to just build a future, you have to make sure that your loved ones get to enjoy it, too, in the future.

How to do that? Here are five easy ways to ensure that all your hard work will not go in vain, no matter what!

Set up an emergency fund

Don’t let life’s unwelcome surprises—a major home repair, a health emergency, or worse, unemployment—throw you off guard. Make sure you have an emergency fund saved up that is at least 3 to 6 months’ worth of your living expenses. How to compute? Add up your expenses for a month (Don’t forget to include the monthly equivalent of your annual expense like school tuition, insurance premiums, taxes, etc.) and multiply it to three months (or up to six months). That’s how much money you should have, kept, right now! This is your financial safety net when the need arises.

Pay your debts

Avoid debt at all cost! But if you have to have debt, prioritize paying them. If you don’t, all your mortgage, car loans, and other debts will be your loved ones’ burden. Yup, there’s no escaping them. And remember, don’t just pay the minimum. Pay in full and on time. Don’t let money that could have gone to your retirement fund or your kid’s educational fund just go to interest payments.

Protect what you built

Don’t let uncertainties take away the things you worked hard for. Whether it’s the house that you’ve taken a loan for or the college education that you’ve been saving up for, make sure your family will get to enjoy the fruits of your labor! Insurance plans like Set for Tomorrow protect what you have built so you don’t have to worry about your family losing what you’ve worked for. This new product from pan-Asian insurer FWD Life Insurance Philippines has three affordable variants: Short Term Cover for your loans and financial obligations; Income Protector for your family’s living expenses and your children’s education; and Estate Protector for smooth transfer of wealth to your heirs. Want to calculate how much it’ll take to ensure your family’s better tomorrow, no matter what? Visit FWD’s calculator, CALI at http://bit.ly/SetforTomorrow-Cali and get a quote!

Develop new skills

From volunteering to manage a project to finding a mentor and attending seminars, developing new skills add value to your career and is crucial for your growth (and promotions)! Don’t be scared to veer away from your corporate comfort zone. Turning on and upgrading hobbies like baking, photography, blogging, etc. could mean new streams of income for you and your family. The possibilities are endless when you don’t stop learning!

Diversify your investments

Remember the old adage “Don’t put all your eggs in one basket”? That’s investment diversification in a nutshell. Diversification is investing in different funds from different companies and industries so you don’t run the risk of losing all your money when one of your investments suffers. That way, the money you intend to grow for your family’s future needs are secure.

PH welcomes home Louie Sangalang, cancer survivor and Filipino North Pole Marathon finisher

Welcome Home multi-sport athlete Louie Sangalang, the first Filipino cancer survivor to conquer the FWD North Pole Marathon, and was given a homecoming party by Pan-Asian insurer FWD Life Insurance after successfully completing the marathon held on April 16.

Filipinos have another source of national pride as FWD Life Philippines representative Louie Sangalang conquered the FWD North Pole Marathon, the world’s coolest marathon.

Sangalang’s triumph is an amazing testament to the resilience of the Filipino spirit, having finished the race in 11 hours and four minutes amid severe weather conditions.

62 participants from 23 countries took part in the marathon, which marked the second year of FWD’s title sponsorship and the first region-wide participation of 11 FWD-sponsored runners, dubbed FWD Team Asia. The entire trip to the North Pole was approximately two weeks long as participants needed to acclimatize and train before the race. FWD Team Asia raised over USD32,000 as they completed the race for the organizations they support, including Special Olympics, the largest sports organization for people with intellectual disability.

The marathon participants ran on a 42-kilometer path in a terrain with temperature ranging from negative 30 to negative 33 degrees centigrade. Adding to the challenge of the race was the icy path which was in parts soft and powdery and sometimes solid and slippery.

“Around 75% to 80% of the course was in snowy, uneven terrain which made it difficult to find firm footing. As a result, we had to walk on some parts of the race course,” Louie said.

“We had great weather with clear skies and minimal wind. However, the extreme cold made the race very challenging.”

Louie also said that the hardest part of the race was managing the cold and running at nighttime with the midnight sun. However, despite the highly challenging marathon path and the freezing weather, not once did he ever think of giving up during the course of the race. He faced the challenges before him, embraced them as he was determined to live his life to the fullest!

FWD Life Philippines President and Chief Executive Peter Grimes extended his congratulations to Louie for completing the run. “We are very proud of Louie! His healthy lifestyle and background as a multi-sport athlete made him the perfect choice to represent FWD Life Philippines in the North Pole Marathon,” said Peter.

“How Louie overcame all the challenges in his life, including this latest one, truly embodies what FWD Life Insurance stands for. FWD believes in grabbing the things you want out of life, to not let anything stand in the way of living your best life. Louie was determined to finish this marathon despite all odds, and he did it!” Peter added.

Roche Vandenberghe, FWD Life Philippines Head of Marketing, said, “The FWD North Pole marathon was a great and equally unique platform to celebrate living, which is what FWD is all about. As the country’s most exciting insurance brand, we are here to encourage people to overcome their fears and fulfill their biggest dreams!”

“That may be as extreme as fulfilling their bucket list by running a marathon on the North Pole or as simple as planning for their future today with proper insurance protection. If it helps them live their lives to the fullest, FWD Life Insurance definitely has got their back!”

FWD Life Philippines launches Community Care partnership with Special Olympics Philippines

FWD and Special Olympics Philippines celebrated the beginning of the partnership with a bowling friendship match participated by athletes from both organizations as well as members of the media, held on April 23, 2018 at The Palms Country Club in Muntinlupa City.

With its vision to empower people to live fulfilled lives, FWD's Community Care program supports the Athlete Leadership and Unified Schools programs of Special Olympics, the world's largest sports organization for people with intellectual disabilities.

FWD Life Insurance

Through the partnership, FWD is embracing the power of sports to let people with intellectual disabilities discover new strengths and abilities.

FWD Group is donating US$1.25 million across the Asian markets where it operates: Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam.

Pan-Asian insurer FWD Life Insurance believes there is a champion in all of us and that anybody can make a difference no matter the challenges they face. In line with this belief, the most exciting insurance brand in the country today launched its global partnership with the Special Olympics, the world’s largest sports organization for people with intellectual disabilities.

“Through this partnership, FWD aims to champion the dreams of young people with intellectual disabilities by creating an inclusive environment that provide equal opportunities,” said FWD Life Philippines President and Chief Executive Officer Peter Grimes. “FWD supports the vision of Special Olympics: using the power of sports to let people with intellectual disabilities discover new strengths and abilities. Through this partnership, we are excited to bring to life our Community Care vision—to empower people to live fulfilled lives.”

Asia-based FWD Group, which launched their region-wide support to Special Olympics in Hong Kong in February, is donating US$ 1.25 million across the markets where it operates: Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, and Japan.

Special Olympics

Special Olympics is a non-profit charitable organization that provides year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic- type sports for children and adults with intellectual disability. Aside from sporting activities it is the world’s largest provider of healthcare to people with intellectual disability.

- Young Athletes program for children with intellectual disabilities aged 2-7 years - Family support network encouraging family engagement - Athlete Leadership Program to promote self-advocacy - Youth Activation committee to create advocacy opportunities

- Healthy Athletes to improve the health of people with intellectual disabilities through health screening, follow up care and health education for athletes and their families.

15% of the world lives with a disability1. Of these, more than 200 million2 have an intellectual disability making them one of the world’s biggest disability groups and one of the most underserved populations. People with intellectual disability face enormous attitudinal, structural, and logistical barriers to obtaining healthcare and getting a job. These compounding factors mean that many struggle with poverty and have significantly shorter lifespans than the general population.

Encouraging inclusion through sports

“FWD Life Philippines has always been keen about addressing the needs of people across different lifestyles by teaching them and equipping them to live life to the fullest," FWD Life Philippines Head of Marketing and Community Care Lead Roche Vandenberghe noted. "Through the partnership with the Special Olympics, FWD hopes to change how society perceives people with intellectual disabilities, that despite their condition, they can make valuable contributions to society and should be given opportunities to do so," she added.

Roche Vandenberghe,  FWD Life Philippines Head of Marketing and Community Care

Kaye Samson, Special Olympics Philippines National Director, said, “We are delighted to welcome FWD to the Special Olympics family. This new partnership with FWD in the Philippines will make a difference to the lives of our athletes and young people. Together, we will collaborate to create a unified generation—people with and without intellectual disabilities working together for an inclusive society, where respect, tolerance, and human equality prevail.”

FWD to support Special Olympics’ Unified Schools and Athlete Leadership programs

To fulfill their dream of an inclusive environment with equal opportunities for people with disabilities, FWD, through its Community Care program, will support two (2) Special Olympics programs—the Unified Schools and Athlete Leadership programs.

For the Unified Schools program, FWD will partner with Special Olympics in engaging thousands of young people in workshops and unified activities to educate them about people with intellectual disabilities and train them to develop ways to create social change. FWD also plans to invite schools and communities to various sports and non-sports activities involving Special Olympics athletes, to celebrate acceptance and inclusion.

On the other hand, for the Athlete Leadership program, hundreds of athletes with intellectual disabilities will undergo training to be empowered, develop leadership skills, utilize their abilities to undertake leadership roles in the Special Olympics movement, and create inclusive communities all over the world. These activities will be done under the umbrella of FWD’s 2020 Community Care program whose goal is to improve the quality of life of individuals with disabilities in Asia by promoting inclusion through rehabilitation and vocational training and generate positive change for the disabled, their families, and their communities.

“Stop the ridicule, choose to include.”

During the FWD-Special Olympics Philippines partnership launch, FWD Life Philippines also launched its support for the campaign to end "the R-Word." During the event, guests and participants of the bowling match pledged to stop using the R-Word, which is short for the word "retarded," considered exclusive, offensive, and derogatory. The said R-Word aims to drive people to stop saying the R-word and other similar words as a starting point toward creating more accepting attitudes and communities for a more inclusive society.

FWD is focused on creating fresh customer experiences, with easy-to-understand products, supported by digital technology. Through this customer-led approach, FWD aims to become a leading pan-Asian insurer that changes the way people feel about insurance.

FWD sends off sole Filipino runner to North Pole Marathon

Pan-Asian insurer FWD Life Insurance, one of the fastest-growing insurance companies in the Philippines, is sending off the country’s lone representative to the FWD North Pole Marathon.

Multi-sport athlete and cancer survivor Luisito “Louie” Sangalang is set to fly to the northernmost point on Earth to represent the Philippines in the Marathon, which will be held on April 9. He will join ten (10) other FWD-sponsored runners from Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, and Japan in the grueling marathon. Collectively, the 11 runners are dubbed “FWD Team Asia”.

The FWD North Pole Marathon runners, hailing from all over the globe, will be running on ice sheet measuring 6 to 12 feet thick which is above 12,000 feet of Arctic Ocean, literally on top of the world. They will be traversing a 42-kilometer path with an average temperature of negative 30 degrees centigrade, even going as low as negative 40 degrees centigrade at times. The marathon is unique because it is run on a small 4.22-kilometer (2.62-mile) loop about 10 times, over hard snow or ice. The FWD North Pole Marathon is recognized by the Association of International Marathons & Distance Races (AIMS) and is the only certified marathon that is run entirely on the frozen water of the Arctic Ocean.

FWD Life Insurance prepares Louie Sangalang for
this once-in-a-lifetime experience

To prepare for the race of a lifetime, Sangalang has joined various local marathons to keep his body in top physical shape. To enable his body to adjust to the extreme cold weather, he has continuously trained inside an industrial freezer with a temperature that mimics that of the negative 30-degree centigrade temperature in the North Pole.

Sangalang says the support given by “The FWD Squad” helped him in preparing for the FWD North Pole Marathon. Triathlon coach Ani De Leon-Brown as well as Sangalang’s running coach Ige Lopez provided the athletic training and guidance. Romi Garduce, the first and only Filipino to have completed the Seven Summits in 2012, gave valuable advice on how to survive the extreme cold.

Other members of the Squad include celebrity mom Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan and son Benjamin, who gave motivational support for Sangalang, and radio DJ and host Sam YG, who joined Sangalang in his rigorous training sessions.

From overcoming life challenges to conquering
the world’s summit

According to FWD Life Philippines President and Chief Executive Peter Grimes, Sangalang’s resilience in overcoming different challenges is one trait that resonates well in Filipinos and this made him the perfect choice to represent the Philippines in the marathon.

“Louie's inspiring story of being a cancer survivor and his passion for fitness, which he uses to inspire Filipinos to live an active lifestyle, also best represent what FWD stands for: embracing the opportunities in your life without hesitation,” said Grimes.Apart from Louie, FWD is also sponsoring runners who have their own life challenges but are pursuing the FWD North Pole Marathon experience nonetheless. “I want to inspire my fellow Filipinos with my story. This is why I’m running. I want them to feel empowered, that despite the many challenges that life throws, you can come back better and stronger with the right attitude,” said Sangalang, who will be joining other runners from all over the world, including representatives from other countries where FWD operates: Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, and Japan.

"Louie's resilience in overcoming life’s challenges is one trait that resonates with Filipinos and this made him the perfect choice to represent the Philippines in the marathon," shared Grimes.
