Among the content available at the Philippine launch of Lionsgate Play is American crime drama Power. With rapper and actor Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson as executive producer, Power follows the triumph and trials of drug dealer James St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick) as he tries to leave his life of crime behind to manage his own nightclub. Power is one of American premium cable TV’s most watched and highly-rated shows.

Also among Lionsgate Play’s banner content is futuristic action film Apex. This Bruce Willis starrer follows Thomas Malone (Willis) as a wrongfully-convicted prisoner given a chance at freedom.

Now available locally through Lionsgate Play is the critically-acclaimed drama Gaslit, starring Julia Roberts and Sean Penn. The new series spotlights Martha Mitchell (Roberts), wife of former US President Nixon’s Attorney General John N. Mitchell, discovering the full extent of the Watergate scandal in the 70s.

The streaming service also carries some of Lionsgate’s most iconic and groundbreaking series such as Mad Men, a multiple Emmy and Golden Globe-winning period drama starring Jon Hamm that’s widely considered to be one of the greatest TV shows of all time; and The Royals, a drama chronicling the tradition, opulence, and scandal that surround a fictional modern-day royal family. Be part of the biggest Oscars! Get a chance to watch the Academy Awards Live!

The Lifestyle Network recently announced one of its biggest events ever—an exclusive, once in a lifetime chance to catch the biggest international film awarding ceremony live, in anticipation of the upcoming 86th Academy Awards.

The Academy Awards, more popularly known as the Oscars, has found a new home on in the Lifestyle Network. In celebration of this new step for the channel, the Lifestyle Network is holding a contest entitled the "Oscars Big Win Promo--"a first in the Philippine market. The "Oscars Big Win Promo", which will run from February 3 until March 3, 2014, is an online prediction contest. Winner with the highest number of correct predictions will win a trip to Los Angeles, California and two bleacher seats to watch the 2015 Oscars Red Carpet ceremony.

The contest is open to all SkyCable, Destiny Cable, and other provincial cable operator subscribers carrying the Lifestyle Network aged 18 years and above. In order for contestants to keep tabs on their predictions, the results can be tracked live online on the day of the Academy Awards. Points will constantly be updated as each award is presented.
