Actress Janine Gutierrez takes a selfie with the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and its Nightography camera feature.

For someone who has a variety of epic passions, it’s no surprise that she’s loving being a part of #TeamGalaxy, which she shared during the Samsung Epic After Hours event. With her multi-faceted lifestyle, she shared how the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra had become an essential tool that helps stay ultra-productive and helps her pursue her diverse galaxy of interests!

Empowering Productivity and Seamlessly Switching Roles

As Janine passionately pursues her various interests, she relies on the Galaxy S23 Ultra to keep up with her demanding schedule. As she juggles simultaneous projects, Janine draws a parallel between transitioning from one role to another in her teleserye stints and switching to the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. She praises the Smart Switch feature, which allows her to transfer all her important files, notes, and memories without any concerns.

Janine has always confidently embraced change and she knows her new phone will seamlessly adapt to her needs -- just like she does when playing different characters. The simplicity and convenience of Smart Switch left her impressed. ”All your photos, videos, lahat ng files niyo, apps…you can transfer easily through a wireless connection or through a USB cable and it’s all in your new phone,” she said.

Janine's love for organization and productivity also finds a perfect match in the Galaxy S23 Ultra's features. The S-Pen, seamlessly integrated into the phone, also allows her to effortlessly jot down notes, highlight scripts, and create shot lists for her content. As a self-proclaimed lover of making lists, Janine shared how in the past she typically reached for scratch paper which would inevitably be lost but with the S-Pen's instant accessibility, she never misses a brilliant idea or important detail, empowering her to multitask effectively.

She explains, “I love the S-Pen because aside from it already being embedded in the phone, it doesn’t add extra bulk or anything. The S-Pen really helps me to balance my different passions, to be on top of my schedule. When you pop it out, the note feature comes out instantly, so you can scribble, you won’t forget what you were planning to write down.”

Uninterrupted Performance and Long-Lasting Battery

Janine's hectic lifestyle demands a phone that can keep up. With the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra’s exceptional battery life, it eliminates the need to carry a power bank.  The reliable and long-lasting battery ensures uninterrupted connectivity, enabling the actress to stay connected throughout the day, no matter how packed her schedule may be.

Janine talks about how easy it was to make the switch to #TeamGalaxy with the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Fueling Creativity and Content Creation

Janine's role as a content creator on her YouTube channel is a testament to her creativity. With the phone’s remarkable camera capabilities, she captures stunning photos and videos that resonate with her audience. The Nightography and Zoom features elevate her content creation game, allowing her to capture memorable moments, especially during concerts and in low-light situations. Janine is delighted by the exceptional quality of the photos and videos, enhancing her ability to share her experiences authentically.

Budding content creators can look to her vlog, full of her takes on viral challenges and interviews with her celebrity relatives (including the iconic Pilita Corrales), to see how they can also get started on their channels.

Not just fun and games, the vlog also shows Lotlot giving invaluable life and career advice to Janine, and to young moms viewing their episode.

A skill she admits to picking up during quarantine, Janine challenges herself not only to show off her cooking chops, but also to do the full vlog in Tagalog. Proving she’s not one to always take herself so seriously, Janine introduces her recipe for lemon pasta, enumerating the ingredients and explaining the steps completely in Filipino (who knew pasta translates to pancit Italiano?).

  1. Sibling Tag | Janine Gutierrez

Janine’s never been one to hide how close she is with her family, with her siblings making regular appearances on all her social media platforms. In a funny, water tag-inspired game of who’s most likely to, they took their closeness to the next level, revealing which of them is most likely to get married first, break hearts, pull pranks and more.

Janine Gutierrez top-bills new psycho-thriller film 'Babae at Baril'

Showbiz royalty and the Kapuso leading lady Janine Gutierrez is top-billing a new psycho-thriller film, Babae at Baril, directed by Rae Red. Babae at Baril is an entry to this year's QCinema International Film Festival.

The movie tackles how it is like to be a woman in a world of violence and masculinity, Babae at Baril is director Rae Red’s sophomore feature and first solo directorial effort.

Janine to showcase a different side of her as she proves her acting versatility.  Here, she's a simple girl, with a gun, and at desperate times.

In the gripping psychological thriller, Gutierrez portrays a hardworking saleslady who’s had enough of being an underdog. Just as she decides to take things into her own hands, she mysteriously finds a gun on her doorstep.

Empowered by the weapon, her bitter past comes rushing back to her and rather than wallow in it, it angers and transforms her. With a gun, she can do whatever she wants, talk back to whoever she wants and even hurt those who have wronged her.

This one story that makes me nervous, in pain, ask why and feel sorry for people on that so desperate situation in life.

A handgun for everyone, like a young lady (as Janine in the movie), to consider for self-defense... I sometimes understand that there are, unfortunately, cases where a gun may have helped a victim. In the movie Babae at Baril", there are young boys, also used guns...to fight for themselves, or to do not good things.... Is this a story in defense of carrying guns?

The film stars Janine Gutierrez, Felix Roco, Elijah Canlas, JC Santos, and Sky Teotico with special participation of Ruby Ruiz, Allan Paule, and Archie Adamos and produced by CIGNAL ENTERTAINMENT in partnership with EPIC MEDIA,

"Babae at Baril" showing in selected cinemas (Gateway Mall, Ayala Trinoma, Robinsons Galleria, UPFI Cine Adarna, Cinema 76 Anonas and Cinema Centenario in QC on Oct 15-22, 2019.

WWF-Philippines National Youth Ambassador Janine Gutierrez leads Fundraising Hour at Lucky Chinatown

World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Philippines National Youth Ambassador Janine Gutierrez, a passionate advocate of proper waste management and garbage disposal, became an actual on-ground fundraiser for a day for WWF-Philippines’ “Fundraising Hour” activity at the Lucky Chinatown in Manila.

This fundraising event is one of the activities of WWF-Philippines’ celebrity ambassadors to spread awareness on pressing environmental issues and introduce the Individual Donor Program (IDP) to the public. Through the IDP, everyone is encouraged to directly contribute in the conservation efforts of WWF-Philippines all over the country by signing up at booths in selected malls and venues all over the country or online.

As one of the newest celebrity ambassadors of WWF-Philippines, Janine has already supported several WWF-Philippines activities the past year, including Earth Hour, Sustainable Food, Sustainable Future Fundraising Dinner, Partners’ Night 2017, and a WWF-Philippines site visit in Donsol, Sorsogon.
“I am so glad that I am doing a lot more now to protect our environment. Our activities here in WWF-Philippines encourage everyone, especially the youth, to take an active role in protecting and preserving our planet because together we can make everything possible,” Janine said.
Lucky Chinatown served as the perfect venue for the fundraising event as it has partnered up with WWF-Philippines for its Panda-themed holidays.

The festivities feature the “Adopt-a-Panda” campaign, which allows shoppers to take home a panda stuffed toy, a WWF pin, and an official adoption certificate for PhP500. Those who choose to symbolically adopt pandas can easily sustain the environment as all proceeds will go to WWF-Philippines’ conservation programs. The “Adopt-a-Panda” campaign will run until December 31, 2017.

Each and every contribution will help WWF-Philippines’ campaigns and projects in conserving natural habitats, resources and ecosystems in the country as it carries out its mission to build a future where Filipinos live in harmony with nature.
