Kids are in for one of the best fun and learning experiences this summer as Jollibee welcomes them to the best summer activity – the Jollibee Kids Club Mini Managers Camp, happening until May 31, 2018.

Through the six-day camp, kids aged 4-12 years old can learn the important values and key roles of a Jollibee Manager such as hard work, leadership, and responsibility through various fun and engaging learning activities.

Wearing their Jollibee Mini Managers uniform, complete with nameplates, the kid managers will greet customers as they enter the store, work behind the counter to take orders, and hand out take-out bags via the Drive-Thru window to discover and experience first-hand Jollibee’s values, the Alagang Jollibeeservice heritage, and learn the store’s best practices. They will also engage in arts and crafts, Yumburger making, ice-cream making, fun games, and dancing, all while interacting with other kids and meeting new friends.

“We at Jollibee believe that even at a young age, kids need to develop a sense of discipline, hard work, and responsibility in a fun learning environment, to become future leaders and managers. These are the values and lessons we want our Mini Managers to learn and experience as these will be pivotal in their growth, said Charisse Sumulong, Jollibee senior brand manager and head for Channels and Kids Marketing, “That is why the Jollibee Kids Club Mini Managers Camp is the best summer activity for Jolly Kids as it provides a fun and engaging atmosphere for kids to enjoy their vacation.”

For only P650, parents and guardians can enroll the kids to the Mini Managers Camp at any participating Jollibee store nationwide. Non-JKC members are also welcome to enroll. Participants will get a Mini Managers Camp workshop kit that includes a set of Mini Managers uniform and name plate, activity materials and a camp bag, snacks for the six days of the program.

"Everything I Need to Learn This Summer, I Learned from Jollibee" - Jollibee Mini Managers Camp/JKC kids

Kids share to us how the enjoyed their time spending summer at Jollibee.

Brothers Tyler and Tyreke Ang had a fun idea last summer: both signed up as kiddie managers at their favorite jolly place, Jollibee.

“I love going to Jollibee because every visit brings happy memories. So my brother and I wanted to experience what it was like working there. And we did last summer,” said 8-year-old Tyler.

Tyler was talking about the Jollibee Mini Managers Camp, where members of the Jolly Kiddie Club (JKC) enjoyed a week of fun activities involving art, storytelling, kitchen work and of course, being little managers of the store complete with their manager’s uniform.

The kids manned the 300 participating Jollibee branches nationwide.

Starting fresh on their roles, the energetic brothers got to know their way around the store during the first day. Hearing the humble beginnings of Jollibee and how a certain Mister Tony turned it to become the country’s iconic fast food chain gave a jolt of inspiration to the young managers to do well in their new role.

“I loved greeting everyone ‘Jolly morning! Welcome to Jollibee!’” said 4-year-old Tyreke, who also got awarded as “Most Bubbly” in his group.

Tyler said he enjoyed learning kitchen tricks like how to make his favorite yummy burger, including a proper way to wrap burgers.

Of course, nobody went home without learning impressive dance moves from their favorite mascot, Jollibee. Both kids discovered their love for dancing, thanks to their beloved bee.

From the kitchen work to greeting people and showing off groovy dance skills at fun parties, the kiddie managers saw everyone in the team giving their best so kids and families are assured of a jolly dining experience.

“My mom told me being a manager is more than a title. It means taking care of people and appreciating everyone for doing a good job,” said Tyler.

From his own experience, Tyler said a manager is humble, a good listener and also helps create a spirit of fun in the jolly workplace.

“I learned from the camp that a manager’s job means taking care of the team and the customers, showing respect to everyone and being friendly. I think it also pays to be thankful to people for doing their best in their jobs,” said Tyler.

Summer sure is over but the kiddie managers said they would both practice the lessons they learned at the Jollibee camp and apply it in school and at home.

“Spending summer at Jollibee was more than fun. It inspired us to be better,” said Tyler.

If your kids are not JKC members yet, just visit a Jollibee store to register.

To set the early Christmas mood, Maaga ang Pasko caroling events were held in different Jollibee branches featuring celebrities and chorale groups to officially launch the campaign.

The Christmas spirit was definitely in the air as Jolly Toy Scouts and customers trooped to the stores to listen to all-time favorite carols and drop their toy and book donations.

The Voice Kids’ winner Lyca Gairanod, and finalists Darlene Vibares and Juan Karlos Labajo led the  Maaga ang Pasko donations at Jollibee Greenmeadows.
At Jollibee Greenmeadows in Quezon City, The Voice Kids Top 4 finalists Lyca Gairanod, Juan Karlos Labajo, and Darlene Vibares performed their trademark songs and joined the Singles for Christ choir in singing the Maaga ang Pasko jingle. The young talents were also introduced as the newest endorsers of the Jollibee Kids Club, together with their fellow finalist Darren Espanto. Jollibee joins Nadine as the Cheesy Bacon Mushroom Yum ambassador drops her donation at the Maaga ang Pasko box in Jollibee Mabalacat.
At Jollibee Mabalacat in Pampanga, young sensation Nadine Lustre brought her own family to take part in the gift-giving campaign. “Our family has been supporting Maaga ang Pasko even before I became a Jollibee endorser. I feel blessed because as an official member of the Jollibee family, I can now do more and influence more people to share what they have and make kids happy this Christmas.” The actress also serenaded her fans with songs from her debut album, as well as joyful Christmas jingles with the Lumen Anima Chorale.

Original Jolly Toy Scout Aga Muhlach makes his Christmas donation in the Maaga ang Pasko box during the launch in Jollibee Canlubang.
Jollibee then paid tribute to long-time ambassador and original Jolly Toy Scout Aga Muhlach at Jollibee Canlubang in a similar caroling activity. Together with members of the Jollibee marketing team, the seasoned actor gamely joined the Lumen Anima Chorale in a more upbeat rendition of the Maaga ang Pasko jingle.

“Maaga ang Pasko came from a very simple idea but a genuine desire to make kids happy on Christmas time. No matter what they may be going through in life, a kid’s face lights up whenever you give them a toy. I approached Jollibee because I know they can help me expand that into something even bigger and more impactful,” shared Aga.

“I could not be any more grateful to Jollibee for bringing Maaga ang Pasko to where it is now, as the longest-running and biggest campaign of its kind in the country that has reached hundreds of thousands of children across the country.”

The celebrity guests each led the gift-giving ceremony by making their own toy and book donations together with members of the Jollibee Kids Club. Jollibee customers showed their support by lining up to drop their donations in the Maaga ang Pasko boxes.

“For the 20th year of Maaga ang Pasko, we’re targeting to bring the magic of toys and books to the most number of children in the history of the campaign. We are once again counting on the support of kind-hearted Filipino families from all over the globe to make this year the ‘pinaka-maaga, pinakamahaba at pinakamalaking Pasko’ for our Filipino kids,” said Jollibee Vice-President for Marketing Harvey Ong.
