A dedicated bracket for the S70TY model* allows users to place the soundbar directly beneath the QNED TV for a refined appearance. This bracket provides a convenient solution for direct attachment, eliminating the need to drill holes in the wall during installation. The bracket allows customizable wall-mounting of the S70TY soundbar at various heights or locations, guaranteeing an aesthetically ideal setup, great convenience and an optimal sound experience.

LG Triple Level Spatial Sound technology applies channel analysis through a 3D engine to mesmerize listeners with lifelike sound and a compelling sense of space. What’s more, LG AI Room Calibration – a feature praised by both consumers and experts for its audio enhancement – rapidly analyzes the environment of a room and adjusts the settings, enhancing the audio to harmonize with the room’s acoustics. New for 2024, the AI Room Calibration extends its capability to calibrate the audio of rear surround speakers, expanding audio immersion and offering more flexibility for installation.

In 2024, LG also plans to introduce new editions of speakers and earbuds to the global market. LG and ADDESSA Give Back With a Whole Lot of Laundry Love

In a heartfelt endeavor to support communities ravaged by recent typhoons, LG and ADDESSA have once again demonstrated their commitment to social responsibility by staging another successful 'Laundry Love' event. The collaboration was birthed to assist communities severely impacted in La Union, Pangasinan, and Zambales. Recognizing the challenges these areas faced due to flooding, the partnership aimed not only to provide free laundry services but also repair support for LG appliances damaged during the calamity.

Over a span of just twelve days in August, the initiative witnessed an overwhelming response with an average of 50 individuals registering daily at all participating ADDESSA branches. Cumulatively, this means approximately 600 individuals were able to avail of the service, a testament to the depth of the need and the gratitude of the beneficiaries.

Powering the event, LG showcased its cutting-edge technology by providing the latest washing machines, including the innovative WashTower™ and a range of front and top load models. Alongside these, free detergents and dedicated exhibitors ensured a seamless experience for those dropping off their laundry. Ensuring the word reached far and wide, LG also lent its marketing and branding support. Complementing LG's efforts, ADDESSA was instrumental in orchestrating the on-the-ground activities. By providing vital infrastructural support, including water supply, electricity, setup space, and critical security measures, ADDESSA demonstrated a deep commitment to their communities. 

Additionally, recognizing that many had faced damage to their appliances in the typhoons, LG stationed a dedicated service personnel through their third-party service partner, Appletronics Services, Inc. This representative was on hand not only to assist with repairs but also to answer any questions or concerns about LG appliances.

In times of crisis, such partnerships underline the importance of community and collaboration. Through their 'Laundry Love' initiative, ADDESSA and LG have not only provided a much-needed service but also sowed seeds of hope, reminding the residents of La Union, Pangasinan, and Zambales that they are not alone in their recovery journey.

LGEPH and Pasig City Government Collaborate for a Greener Future on World Environment Day

LG Electronics Philippines (LGEPH), in collaboration with the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) of Pasig City, celebrated World Environment Day by organizing a tree planting activity. The event, held on June 5, 2023, aimed to promote environmental conservation and sustainability in the community.

World Environment Day, established by the United Nations in 1972, serves as a global platform to raise awareness about the importance of protecting the environment and natural resources. Recognizing this crucial initiative, LGEPH Managing Director, Mr. Sungjae Kim, expressed gratitude to the volunteers for their participation in the tree planting activity.

"Our goal is to create a more nature-friendly environment, ensuring a sustainable community in the long run," stated Mr. Sungjae Kim during his opening remarks. "LG has always been committed to making the world a better place, and this event reflects our dedication to environmental stewardship."

The tree planting activity saw the active involvement of 51 LGEPH employees, including the Managing Director, CFO, and Product Directors. They were joined by 10 volunteers from the CENRO of the Pasig City government, forming a collaborative effort to make a positive impact on the local environment.

A total of 350 saplings were planted, comprising various tree species. The selection of trees included 50 Salingogon Trees, 50 Bougainvillea, 10 African Talisay, and 240 Pintabebua. These saplings will contribute to the beautification and enhancement of the local ecosystem.

LG Smiles back to the World with its new Brand Identity

With Reinvented Brand Strategy, Company Aims to Actively Communicate

SEOUL, April 12, 2023 — LG Electronics (LG) unveiled a new brand direction and visual identity, which will shed more light on the value of Life’s Good with a more dynamic and youthful look across all physical and digital customer touch points.

 

In the company’s new Brand Communication Guidelines shared with employees all around the world, LG outlined the new direction for the brand to be loved by customers across countries and generations, including Generation Z, and ultimately establish itself as an iconic brand. The Brand Communication Guidelines reiterate LG’s core values of ‘Uncompromising Customer Experience,’ ‘Human-centered Innovation’ and ‘Warmth to Power a Smile.’

 

The brand slogan, Life’s Good, encompasses the message of how the company enables its customers to enjoy a quality life and indulge in precious moments via LG products, services and communication. And, as the brand mission, the company has pursued Innovation for a Better Life, contributing to the shaping of a better life and future for the planet.

 

The newly established brand direction includes a revamp of LG’s visual identity, reinterpreting the existing warmth and sense of togetherness of the brand. The company aims to boost interaction with more customers through a new visual identity that adds vitality and interactive elements while putting a new spin on the existing brand image.

 

In the digital space, the company’s symbol will come to life, engaging customers with a new level of expressiveness. The brand symbol, composed of the letters ‘L’ and ‘G,’ can perform eight unique motions, including nodding, spinning and winking. With its new capabilities, the brand symbol can greet customers with a friendly smile or move along with background music on digital platforms in a variety of witty ways.

 

In addition to its signature LG Red color, the company will be using the more energetic LG Active Red across all customer contact points. Also, various gradient elements in LG Active Red, white and black were also introduced, offering variety as they can be applied according to the unique characteristic of each product or service.

 

The company also designed a new typeface for its Life’s Good brand slogan, which will be used more widely as a brand asset in product packaging. Cleverly integrated into the typeface are shapes inspired by various LG products.

 

 

LG’s new brand strategy not only strengthens the company’s unique identity, but signals its willingness and capacity to evolve with generations, along with its unmatched commitment to innovating customer experiences all around the globe. LG's Inverter Direct Drive motor reaches milestone with 100 million units produced

A Key Component of Premium LG Washing Machines for More than Two Decades, Company’s Innovative Motor Technology Continues to Evolve for Excellence

LG Electronics (LG) announces that production of its Inverter Direct Drive™ (DD™) motor has exceeded 100 million units. The company’s differentiated motor technology is a major factor in the strong, reliable performance and continuing global popularity of LG’s industry-leading laundry solutions.

From 1998 to the end of 2022, the company produced, on average, over 12,000 Inverter DD motors per day. LG’s Inverter DD motor connects directly to the washing drum, an innovation that helps make LG washing machines more durable and dramatically reduces noise and energy consumption during operation.

LG has refined the Inverter DD motor over four generations, continuously improving the technology and its performance capabilities to deliver greater customer value. The company holds over 240 Inverter DD motor related technology patents in Korea and internationally. In 2019, the company applied Artificial Intelligence (AI) to the Inverter DD motor to further enhance its efficiency and effectiveness. Used in LG’s premium washing machines and dryers, the AI DD motor leverages deep learning technology to detect the weight of each load and the types of fabrics being washed. It then selects the optimal combination of drum movements from the company’s proprietary 6 Motion tech – which enables six discrete drum movements – to care and clean for users’ laundry.

Last year, LG brought its advanced Inverter DD motor to its dryers for the first time. Like the company’s washers, LG dryers also offer 6 Motion (Tumble, Swing, Rolling, Stepping, Scrubbing, and Filtration) technology to boost drying performance and minimize fabric damage. LG’s inverter motor technology – specifically, the AI DD – became the first home appliance technology to earn Deep Learning AI Verification from global safety science company, (UL) Underwriters Laboratories.

Save Space Without Compromise with LG's Newest Line of Window Type Air Conditioners

When it comes to home appliances, space is the name of the game. LG Showcases Seamless Smart Home Experience With Home Connectivity Alliance at CES 2023


LG Electronics (LG), a board member of the Home Connectivity Alliance (HCA), will showcase a seamless smart home experience at CES 2023. 

Along with other HCA member companies, LG will demonstrate the interoperability enabled under the new HCA Specification 1.0, whereby smart home solutions from different brands work together seamlessly to deliver true connected convenience in the home.

Inside HCA’s booth at CES, LG will be exhibiting its latest smart home appliances – including the refrigerator with MoodUP, WashTower laundry solution, ARTCOOL Gallery air conditioner and PuriCare AeroTower – together with those from other alliance members. Visitors will be able to see the realization of HCA’s “Any app to any device” vision, which presents users with the ability to manage each brand’s products via each brand’s smart control app, such as LG’s intuitive ThinQ app. This new level of interoperability is currently supported by HCA member companies including LG.

Utilizing existing industry standards to define Cloud-to-Cloud (C2C) interoperability guidelines, the new HCA Specification 1.0 has been established to ensure that home appliances, TVs and HVAC systems can interoperate seamlessly with one another, irrespective of brand. In addition to newly-launched models, consumers can continue using the smart home appliances and HVAC solutions that they already own and are covered by HCA Specification 1.0, without having to install any major firmware updates.

Furthermore, HCA Specification 1.0 will help member companies to make the smart home more sustainable in the future, leveraging data collected from across alliance members’ appliances to gain usage insight and improve energy management.

LG unveils Its new line-up of monitors

unveiled its new lineup of monitors and showcased its newest, powerful and most technologically advanced monitors in the recently Top Gun-themed event.

The LG 32GQ950, LG 48GQ900, 29MQ780-B, 29WP500, 32GN500, 27UP850-W, and the 27UN880-B were presented during the Top-Gun themed event, hosted by Andrei “Dreister” Felix.

According to Sungjae “Airboss” Kim, managing director for LG Philippines, the company remains committed to innovating and enhancing its monitor line-up to adapt to the needs of its consumers. He added,
“We’ve made great strides to elevate the user-experience of our monitors–from adapting to flexible workstations and upgrading our systems with new generation gaming standards.”

Meanwhile, the country’s most influential gamers, creatives and content creators attest to the power, image quality and versatility of LG’s latest monitor line-up.

Actor, TV host and #FitGamer, Eric “Eruption” Tai enjoyed the immersive race car gaming set-up during the event featuring the 32GQ950 OLED Monitor. He said, “The contrast is just amazing with the bright whites and the deep, dark blacks. It provides a truly immersive experience whether you’re gaming for hours on end or just relaxing and bingeing on series and movies. And, it’s also equipped with HDMI 2.1”. Just the same, “PBA Ironman” LA Tenorio was impressed with LG’s marquee monitor, the 48GQ900 OLED, due to its size and impressive image quality. Equipped with the award-winning OLED technology with self-lit pixels, the 48GQ900 OLED monitor boasts of its immersive display and quick response time, ensuring its compatibility with next-gen consoles. The self-lit pixels also help keep response time incredibly fast according to Janille Umali, B2B marketing communications officer. The massive display of the monitor is designed to provide a better viewing experience like no other. It has anti-glare and low reflection technology built-in, ensuring that there are no distractions and you only focus on your game. This, of course, also helps reduce eye strain when used for long periods of time. Just like LA himself as one of the country’s formidable basketball pointguard, this monitor is as fast as they come. Music and lifestyle photographer “Magic” Liwanag, couldn’t help but agree with the product’s versatility, claiming that the LG Dual Up 28MQ780-B is a godsend for creatives like him. “The 16:18 aspect ratio and the freedom to swivel [the monitor] allows me to multitask in a completely different way,” he adds. He has been using LG monitors in his own studio for years now and was so ecstatic to try the LG UltraGear 32GN500 monitor with a flight simulator set-up to simulate a realistic Top Gun environment. He was thoroughly overwhelmed by the image quality and clear details that the LG UltraGear 32GN500 provides. “Aside from the solid features, the design is killer as well.
