"Here Comes The Boom" with Charice !

The Mixed  Martial Arts-themed comedy movie Here Comes The Boom which includes  Charice in the cast has just released its official international trailer. Charice plays the role of Malia De La Cruz as one of the students of Kevin James in the said high school which is also part of the music program.

Here Comes The Boom is topbilled by Kevin James, Salma Hayek, Melissa Peterman and Henry Winkler. In the movie, Kevin James plays the role of Scott Voss, a high school teacher teacher who turned into a mixed-martial arts (MMA) fighter to raise money and save the school from a $48,000 budget cut which also means termination of the extra-curricular activities including the music program taught by Henry Winkler's character.

The same humor and good fun of any Adam Sandler related flick, this one is produced by Adam Sandler and directed by Frank Coraci (“The Wedding Singer,” “Click”), the comedy stars Kevin James, Salma Hayek and our very own Filipino recording artist, Charice. The internationally acclaimed singer, who's featured in the trailer, plays one of James' students in the film.
Synopsis: Former collegiate wrester Scott Voss (James) is a 42-year-old apathetic biology teacher in a failing high school. When cutbacks threaten to cancel the music program and lay off its teacher (Henry Winkler,) Scott begins to raise money by moonlighting as a mixed martial arts fighter. Everyone thinks Scott is crazy – most of all the school nurse, Bella (Hayek) and – but in his quest, Scott gains something he never expected as he becomes a sensation that rallies the entire school.
