Sharing
her father’s passion to serve and desire to help the poor, she understands that
poverty can break the Filipino family and bring great harm to our children.
That's like father, like daughter. She is Grace Poe, FPJ’s daughter.
Grace
Poe sees the need to focus poverty alleviation efforts on the family as a basic
social institution. She wants government to take a more active role in helping
children of poor families. She believes that the future of our nation depends
on the kind of citizens these children will become.
She
commit herself to a platform that builds on her father’s social covenant and
focuses on three areas: Poverty alleviation, Opportunities for all, especially
the children, and Electoral reforms.
"My
father called for a “social covenant” to rebuild Philippine society and lead
our nation towards unity and sustainable development. His goal was addressing
the poverty problem. He was confident that with our people’s support, it was
possible to have a country where every Filipino can aspire for and live the
good life."
It's
a great recent blogcon with Grace. That was a night of remembering Fernando Poe Jr. where we relive the legacy of 'Da King' whose
death anniversary we will celebrate on 14 Dec 2012. It will be a night of
nostalgia and friendship, reliving the old and establishing new ones. held at
the Pool Deck of the Imperial Palace Suites in Morato, Quezon City, November
19.
And
there will be more wonderful FPJ
events in these coming days. She urged everyone to join the “Magpaligaya Poe
Tayo Ngayong Pasko!” campaign this
holiday season. Through this,
Grace hopes to share her blessings by granting a needy person’s Christmas wish.
Those
who want their wish, or someone else’s wish to come true must send their name,
email address, mobile number, age, name of the person the wish is for, background about the said person, the wish itself, why the

or before Saturday, Dec. 8. The winner will be announced on Friday, Dec. 14,
FPJ’s death anniversary.
And
moreover, join the “Share Your FPJ Moment” contest encourages FPJ fans to share
their experiences with the King of Philippine Movies and their thoughts on why
he is their favorite movie star.

Here's
more about Grace Poe:
Grace
Poe is a newcomer to politics but not to public service. She proved her
leadership competence as Chair of the MTRCB (Movie and Television Review and
Classification Board) under the administration of President Benigno “Noynoy”
Aquino III.
As
MTRCB Chair, she reformed the classification system for movies and television,
provided institutional support to independent film makers, and brought together
government agencies and media organizations in order to protect the interests
of children. All these accomplishments she achieved without calling attention
to herself.
Grace
worked in the United States as a teacher, a product liaison officer, and a
product manager. And before her stint in Philippine government, she worked at
FPJ Productions and Film Archives, Inc. Grace Poe has a Bachelor of Arts degree
