The first of five Dreamliner aircraft on order for Royal Brunei features the quiet state of the art cabins with large windows that enable passengers to tint the windows by the touch of a button.

Operated by Royal Brunei, the 787-8 Dreamliner is configured with 18 seats in business class and 236 economy seats. The aircraft is powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines and is considered one of the most fuel efficient aircraft operating in the world today with airlines realising savings of up to twenty percent over older generation aircraft.

The aircraft was welcomed to Manila by Philippine Airport Ground Support Solutions that managed the ground services of the Dreamliner towing the aircraft to Bay 7 at NAIA Terminal 1.

It took ground staff approximately six minutes to connect the aircraft to the aerobridge. Passengers on board the flight stated that the aircraft was "exciting, beautiful, very comfortable and that the food was great."
