Power Mac Center Partners With LifeProof For Free Basic Underwater Photography Workshop

Power Mac Center, the most reliable Apple partner in the Philippines, teamed up with consumer electronics accessory company LifeProof and offered an underwater photography seminar dubbed Underwater Snaps. 

Photography enthusiasts attended the seminars held at the Power Mac Center at SM Aura Premiereand learn the basics about photography for FREE. Session starts at 5:30pm presented by Mr. Wowie Wong. They were really excited and gained basic underwater photography skills that will help them capture the underwater world.

Free to the public, Underwater Snaps aimed to teach participants the fundamentals in capturing images of marine creatures using an iPhone or a DSLR camera, allowing them to get the most out of their photography equipment. Core topics discussed in Underwater Snaps were basic tips on picture composition, shooting in Macro or Wide lens, going manual, the challenges of shooting underwater using a DSLR camera, and caring for your underwater equipment.

The first was one-hour underwater photography seminar hosted by Power Mac Center in partnership with consumer electronics accessory company LifeProof. Network of Underwater Digital Imagers, Inc. co-founder Wowie Wong trains participants of the first leg of the Underwater Snaps.

Power Mac Center and LifeProof, through the Underwater Snaps workshop, hope that we can help underwater photography enthusiasts create more memorable underwater adventure by equipping them with the rudiments in underwater photography free of charge,” said Power Mac Center Marketing Director Joey Alvarez.

Power Mac Center’s latest offering was a one-hour workshop conducted under the professional guidance of Wowie Wong, co-founder of the Network of Underwater Digital Imagers, Inc. (NUDI). Established in August 2010 and officially registered in March 2011, NUDI is a non-stock, non-profit association dedicated to promoting underwater photography and videography that supports conservation.

The Underwater Snaps series, which began early this month, had its last leg last May 23, Friday, from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at Power Mac Center SM Aura Premier. Each participant received a certificate and giveaways from LifeProof.
