Globe Digital Lifestyle Expo

Enjoying the Wonderful World with Globe Telecom as it sparks digital revolution in the Philippines with the two-day Digital Lifetsyle Expo.

Recognizing the growing relevance of recent technology innovations in our lives, Globe Telecom held the Wonderful World with Globe: Embracing a Wonderful Digital Life at the Mega Fashion Hall of SM Megamall, showcasing the latest trends, gadgets, and applications that aim to empower netizens and promote inclusion for Filipinos who have yet to join the digital revolution.

Peter Bithos, Globe Telecom Chief Operating Advisor presents the new bundles of telecom's digital lifetyle that breeds connectivity and creativity.

“There are different factors shaping our digital lifestyle, such as the rise of Internet penetration availability of the more Internet-enabled phones, customization of data packages, and the boost of applications for all uses. Their integration redefines how people connect, choose, and capture moments,” said Peter Bithos.

“In the digital age, options abound and changes happen with a tap of a finger. With technology and devices being brought to the reach of more Filipinos, everyone is invited to embrace the digital lifestyle that breeds connectivity and creativity,” said Bithos.

Partnership with Globe’s Lifestyle Bundles, experts from the media, business, and digital industries gave relevant insights on how digital innovations have greatly affected people’s daily activities.


The Work and Play session discussed how engagements, business or personal, are more convenient and enjoyable by a host of applications and services that are affordable to any consumer. 

The first batch of panelists (for Work and Play) included Spotify Asia Managing Director Sunita Kaur, Manila Bulletin Technology Editor Art Samaniego, Jr., LG Electronics Product Marketing Manager Faith Mijares, Zomato Philippines Country Manager Anton Ojeda, Globe Vice-President for Usage, Recon, and Customer Experience Management, Postpaid Business, Debbie Obias, and Globe Vice President for Digital Media Glen Estrella.

During the second batch of partners, TrueProperty Adviser Nat Segovia, PhoneCo Mobile Technologies (CloudeFone) President Eric Yu, Zalora Philippinnes Marketing Director Martin Cu, Mobext Philippines Marketing Manager Trish Elamparo, Globe Vice President for Digital Media Glenn Estrella, Globe Head of Customer Communication and nowledge Management Miggy Dela Cruz, and Globe Head of Digital Mobile and Advertising Bela Gupta formed the panel of speakers.

The Create and Share session delved into Filipino's penchant for expressing their passion and voicing out their ideas by making technology more flexible and adaptable to one's personal needs.


On the second day of the Globe Digital Lifestyle Expo, August 23, netizens were treated to many activities, games, new and exclusive offers from Globe brands and  partners. There was a mini-concert featuring celebrities Sam Concepcion, Radha and Morissete Amon.

The Wonderful World with Globe: Digital Lifestyle Expo was free and opened to the public held at the Mega Fashion Hall, SM Megamall from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. 

The event is in partnership with the country's leading digital brands Spotify, Samsung, Zalora, Grab taxi, Cloudefone, LG Philippines, Zomato, Huawei and the Manila Bulletin.
