El Gamma Penumbra emerged as the champion of the talent search "Asia's Got Talent", besting other candidates from 14 different countries.
The team won US$100,000 and an opportunity to perform at the Marina Bay Sands.
El Gamma is the first champion of the Asia-wide version of the popular reality show. El Gamma Penumbra was the fourth winner in the contest competed in Pilipinas Got Talent in 2012.
El Gamma Penumbra was part of the top 3, which included Filipina classical opera singer Gerphil Flores, and the Mongolian group Khusugtun. Gerphil placed second in the competition.

Hosted by Marc Nelson and Rovilson Fernandez, Asia's Got Talent with David Foster, former Spice Girl Melanie C., Indonesian rock star Anggun, and Taiwanese pop star Vanness Wu served as judges.
