Sarah Geronimo makes a Jollibee comeback with ‘Don’t forget the hashtag’ video

After releasing a series of viral videos, Jollibee now features its long-time celebrity endorser Sarah Geronimo in a full-production commercial worthy of its own hashtag. The newest clip shows the Popstar Royalty shining on stage while singing “Don’t forget the hashtag” and dialing the leading fast food chain’s nationwide express delivery hotline, #8-7000.

The advertisement is a follow-up to the video “Isang Number Para sa Pinas”, which featured Sarah alongside promising young performers Juan Karlo Labajo and Elmo Magalona.

“Kinareer talaga namin 'yung rehearsals. Kaya sana kapag lumabas na ‘yung commercial, magustuhan ng tao at siyempre masubukan din nilang magpa-deliver sa Jollibee. (We really put in a lot of effort during the rehearsals. I hope that when this video comes out, people will like it and, of course, try Jollibee delivery themselves.)

The total performer shares her excitement in doing the TVC, especially to show Filipinos how easy it is to order their langhap-sarap favorites and have it delivered from anywhere in the country, by dialing just one number.

Being a fan of well-loved treats like Chickenjoy, Jolly Spaghetti, and Peach Mango Pie, she recalls trying to get the numbers straight just so she and her friends can order their favorites.

“Naaalala ko na naka-post sa ref namin ‘yong flyer na may number ng pinakamalapit na Jollibee branch sa amin. Tapos nagkaroon ng 8-7000 sa Metro Manila. Swerte na lang ngayon kasi may #8-7000 na Jollibee Delivery Hotline narin at lahat na, from Luzon to Mindanao, pwede na magpadeliver. Kailangan lang pindutin yung #, wala nang area code.” (We used to rely on Jollibee flyers and saved the number of the Jollibee nearest us.

Then 8-7000 was launched in Metro Manila. Luckily, we have #8-7000 now which allows us to call in Jollibee anywhere, from Luzon to Mindanao. We just need to press the “#” first and we don’t need area codes anymore).

Touring the country for mall shows, appearances, and multiple commitments, Sarah finds convenience in using one number for great-tasting and consistently satisfying food from Jollibee Delivery.

“Iba talaga ‘yung Jollibee eh. Isipin mo, isang dial lang sa #8-7000, matitikman mo ulit ‘yung favorite mo. Masaya na ‘pag nag-crave ako ng Chickenjoy, mabilis lang, tatawag na lang.” (Jollibee is really one-of-a-kind. Imagine, you just have to dial #8-7000 and you can already have your favorites delivered. I feel happy whenever I crave for Chickenjoy. It’s very accessible, I just need to call.)

Sarah gladly shares her secret to remembering Jollibee’s nationwide hotline. “Naalala ko because of our latest jingle, masaya pakinggan!” (I remember it because our latest jingle is just fun to listen to!)

Tagaytay Highlands: Your Premier Mountain Resort Investment

Tagaytay Highlands continues to thrive as a premier mountain resort community that defines mountain resort living in the country.
Tagaytay Highlands has long been the benchmark of leisure mountain living in the country. What started as a mere weekend getaway for the Filipino elite has evolved into a township – a fusion of Tagaytay’s natural beauty and city conveniences. For over 20 years, Tagaytay Highlands continues to thrive while pioneering a lot of this country’s firsts, from residential communities like the signature log cabins, golf club membership to Swiss cable cars and other recreational amenities, taking mountain-side living up a notch.

Backed by the long-standing credibility of the SM Group, property value in Tagaytay Highlands remains to appreciate as it continues to develop its vast land area of more than one thousand hectares and introduce innovative concepts – like two of its residential communities – Aspenhills and Nob Hill.
Tagaytay Highlands pioneered a lot of firsts in the Philippines like the first ever Swiss cable car and funicular system in a resort community.

Bespoke Log Cabin Homes at Aspenhills

Aspenhills is a luxury hilltop enclave covering 27 hectares of the Highlands. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant summers of Aspen in Colorado, it features a modern-ranch style community that will allow residents to build their dream cabin home.

Imagine living in a home to be enjoyed with the family all year round – built in one of the highest points of Tagaytay and surrounded by the cool weather, scenic vistas, and a charming landscape of Araucaria pine trees.

An exclusive gated community, Aspenhills is envisioned to be a village of bespoke mountain lodges in lots ranging from 306 to 801 square meters. Residents get to see their dream home come to life, a personal masterpiece with architecture and design that fuses the rustic charm of wood with the modern touch of glass and stone.

Tranquil bonding weekends may be enjoyed at the Sunshine Picnic Grove; active explorers can bike through dedicated pathways of the Nature Trail, while kids can frolic around the Little Ranch Playground. Aspenhills also highlights its main amenity – The Village Hall – which serves as a venue for private festivities overlooking lush mountain views.

Tagaytay Highlands’ Aspenhills is the first residential community that allows residents to build their own dream cabin.

Contemporary Living Amidst Nature at Nob Hill

Nob Hill seamlessly fuses the ease of modern living with the serene comfort that its lush environment evokes. A residential community situated on the highest point of the Greenlands, Nob Hill offers lots ranging from 300 to 722 square meters on top of verdant sloping hills.

Tailor-made for the urbane, Nob Hill is envisioned to be a commune of modern homes within nature's embrace, characterized by minimalist elements – clean lines highlighted through natural colored stone, powder-coated metal trims, and glazing natural wood finishes.

Nature inspires a harmony of luxury and serenity to future Nob Hill homes. Residents may build a home with large windows, maximizing natural light and the picturesque view of the mountains, creating an illusion of a living painting that adds a relaxing touch to ones abode.

Nob Hill is the perfect place to unwind and foster vibrant family ties amidst an innovative and holistic lifestyle. Amenities designed for work and play can be found at the central park which features the Palm Court, Fitness Station, Trellis, Gazebo, Children’s Play Area, Linear Park, and Jogging Path.

Defining Mountain Resort Ideals

Tagaytay Highlands continues to provide the best in mountain resort living, a holistic lifestyle that is within easy reach of its residents and members.

Residents of Aspenhills will also enjoy exclusive kid-friendly village amenities.

Property purchase in Tagaytay Highlands comes with membership rights to The Country Club, giving residents access to world-class amenities and an extensive selection of recreational activities. Sports such as swimming, tennis, bowling and badminton to other leisure interests like Pedal Go Kart Racing, Oxboard Maze, Sporting Arrow, Console Gaming and life-size board games at the Supersized Game Park may be enjoyed. Gourmands can also choose from a number of specialty restaurants like the Gourmet Avenue, China Palace and the famed Highlander Steakhouse.

Nob Hill is envisioned to be a community of modern homes rising amidst nature’s charm.

With comfort and convenience as its top priority, Tagaytay Highlands keeps on evolving to not only offer an escape, but a chance to reconnect with oneself and the family – an investment like no other.

Nob Hill encourages vibrant family ties, an oasis where work and play seamless blends.

Tagaytay Highlands is the premier mountain resort development of the SM Group in Tagaytay. Nestled among the highest elevations of the city, it is a leisure destination that speaks of exclusivity and luxury, where stunning nature views and a breezy, cool climate come together to redefine relaxation.

With summer well underway, fun seekers are heading to the beach for some sun, sea, and surf, while others opt for cooler climes to find relief from the sweltering heat. Wherever your itinerary takes you, you will totally want to document every single “instagrammable” moment with perfectly captured selfies.

So ask yourself now: how do you take summer selfies worthy of your friends’ likes and insta-hearts?

Take your summer selfie game to the next level with the V5 Plus. It’s your go-to smartphone camera for shooting all the stunning vistas, enabling you to capture every single detail clearly—thanks to the V5 Plus’ 20-megapixel dual front camera and advanced selfie technology.
Be creative and spontaneous. Whether you’re into aqua sports or chilling out with friends at a poolside, be playful, silly, goofy, sexy or alluring when taking those share-worthy selfies.

Find your “perfect” angle. Hone your selfie skills by practicing at home. Take lots of selfies until you learn what angle suits you best.

To take Instagram-worthy selfies this summer, use the Vivo V5 Plus, with advanced selfie features that can make you look your best in every photo.

Choose the best backgrounds. Distant hills and mountains, the sparkling sea, lush foliage, and the striking colors of a sunset are some of the most amazing backgrounds for those perfect summer selfies. But even without these elements, the V5 Plus’ ‘bokeh’ effect will beautifully blur a less-than-pretty background while keeping the subjects in focus.

Use a selfie stick. Take fun groufies of the family or barkada with a selfie stick, a pole-like device with a grip at the end, designed to hold a smartphone when taking selfies. A selfie stick is indispensable at events like summer beach weddings, launch parties, sports activities, etc.

Look your best. You must play up your best features for the perfect summer selfie. Fortunately, you’ll get a lot of help from Vivo V5 Plus’ face beauty mode 6.0, which enhances your skin tone and makes you look fresh and pretty even without a filter or edit.

Check your lighting. Taking group selfies while enjoying summer’s night scenes can be a pain—but not with the V5 Plus’ softlight selfie, which allows you to take clear selfies in any lighting condition.
Be creative and spontaneous when taking summer selfies with top five global brand Vivo’s flagship phone, the V5 Plus.

Have fun! Summer is all about making new friends, fortifying bonds, and creating happy memories. Your summer selfies should chronicle all those wonderful moments for times when things don’t go the way they should and you need something to lift your spirits and put a smile on your face.
The Vivo V5 Plus, equipped with the world’s first 20-megapixel dual front camera, can take perfect summer selfies this sunny season.

Have you had your eyes checked?

Essilor, the world’s leading ophthalmic optics company, reminds everyone to go for an eye check-up as part of the educational campaign of Crizal®, one of the company’s flagship brands.

The campaign, Create beautiful moments, actively encourages the public to have their eyes checked as Essilor believes that beautiful moments in life deserve the clearest vision.

“Protecting healthy eyes is as important as correcting vision problems,” explains Essilor general manager, Dr. Emelita Roleda. “Through the Create beautiful moments campaign, we can educate the public on the value of healthy eyesight, for everyone to realize that it need not take a missed moment to have a reason to visit your eye doctor. Everyone should have an eye check up at least once a year.”

A visit to your optometrist will reveal more just your current prescription. Your eye doctor can also determine what preventive actions you should take against permanent damage and can even provide great insights into your general well-being. Aside from checking how well your eye muscles work, the optometrist can also gauge if you are suffering from any ailment that can affect your eyesight and your overall health, including diabetes and glaucoma.

Your vision dictates both how you see life and how you live it. Regardless of age and physical health, routine eye check-ups are vital to keep your eyes healthy and stay focused on life’s moments.

Crizal® allows Filipinos to live life more clearly with its line of Anti-reflective lenses. Whether prescription, for outdoor activity, indoor use or part of a digital lifestyle, these lenses filter and deflect harmful UV and blue light, lowering the risk of eye fatigue and preventing long-term vision damage. Crizal® lenses are available at leading optical shops and through eye care professionals nationwide.

TravelBook.ph: Metro Manila Tops 2017 Holy Week Destinations

Metro Manila is the top destination for Holy Week, making a huge leap from its 5th ranking in 2016, according to leading online travel agency TravelBook.ph.

“Data shows that three months prior, Filipinos booked a stay in the metro for Holy Week (April 10 to 16) this year, which is 10.4% of Travelbook.ph’s total bookings for the Lenten Season,” the report said.

The report also indicated that Makati, Manila, and Quezon City thrive the most among other cities in Metro Manila.

In comparison to the 2016 data, Metro Manila only acquired 6.6% of the previous year’s total bookings, which placed them on the 5th rank while Baguio City is at first with 10.8%.

According to a Jane Cariaga, a Travelbook.ph customer, spending the Holy Week within Metro Manila is a practical choice.

“Considering the additional expenses for the fare and other travel necessities, plus the heavy traffic you’d have to endure while traveling, it is best to spend a quiet staycation in Metro Manila to observe the Holy Week,” the customer said.

Travelbook.ph caters mostly to Filipino travelers aged 18 to 34. A lot of them are also from Metro Manila.

Here is the complete list from TravelBook.ph of the top 15 Holy Week destinations this 2017 in the Philippines:

In 2016, the top 15 destinations were Baguio, Cavite, Boracay, Zambales, Metro Manila, Ilocos Norte, Palawan, Cebu, Bohol, Ilocos Sur, Batangas, Albay, Davao, Pangasinan, and La Union respectively.

It is also interesting to note that Mindoro, Camarines Sur, and Laguna made it to this year’s list, replacing Ilocos Norte, Bohol, and La Union.

Interested travelers can book accommodations for their staycations or out of town trips by visiting www.travelbook.ph or downloading the TravelBook.ph mobile app for free on Google Play and App Store.
