Spearheaded by Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) President, Ms. Michelle Taylan, together with different Travel Organizations, such as NAITAS, QCTAA PATS, NEATOP, PTOTAA, RTAA, ALTTA, BOZTAA, BAPTTA, CTTA, BITATOA, BATA, a Covid-19-free trip was made to one of Philippines’ Tropical Paradises, Boracay.
According to Acting Municipal Mayor, Frolibar S. Bautista, Boracay is now safe and ready to accept tourists. From temperature checks and luggage disinfection from the airport to health declaration forms and sanitation areas on accredited hotels, they’ve surely prioritized tourists' and locals’ health and safety.
Besides the lesser crowd, tourists can expect not much of a difference visiting this place. Accredited hotels and restaurants are still open, as well as street vendors by the shore. Activities such as island hopping are also operational but with limited capacity.
