‘My Delivery Gurl’, Cignal Play’s Drag-themed Series Debuts on New Year’s Day

Cignal Play, the linear streaming platform and video-on-demand service of Cignal TV, is welcoming 2022 with pride as it premieres its first drag-themed drama comedy, My Delivery Gurl, on January 1.

Produced by Cignal Entertainment and Epic Media, under the direction of Carlo Enciso Catu, My Delivery Gurl follows the lives of a ragtag family of misfits forced to relocate from Manila to the countryside after an economic recession. Cignal Play’s newest series also depicts a spirited individual, leader, mother, and founder known as Bianca D., who nurtured a drag family out of youth members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Portrayed by talented theater actor Markki Stroem, Bianca D. ushers the group through a tough yet uproarious journey as they add color and glitz for a “pak na pak” delivery service. As she becomes the town’s most glamorous “delivery gurl,” she unexpectedly delivers hope to the lives of the people she encounters, too.

Starring alongside Markki Stroem are Victor Basa as Boss Sam and Rocky Salumbides as Jakoy, Bianca D’s love interests in the series, with the support of Madeleine Nicolas, Pipay Kipay, Iyah Mina, Lui Manansala, Sky Teotico, EJ Panganiban, Allison Piñeda, Brian Black, Andre Miguel, Carlos Dala, Liya Sarmiento, Kakki Teodoro, Juliana Parizcova Segovia, EJ Jallorina, Lady Gagita, and Maria Christina.

Find your Saturday nights at the intersection of fun, hope, and glamour with My Delivery Gurl, arriving this January 1, 2022 on Cignal Play, the home of Cignal Entertainment.
