Hisense TV ranks No. 2 worldwide in volume share of shipment

Maintains growth for three consecutive years

Hisense TVs are increasingly finding places in households and businesses globally. According to a recent data released by market research agency Omdia, Hisense TV ranks second worldwide in terms of volume share of shipment in the second quarter (Q2) of 2022. Hisense TV follows Samsung in the ranking.

Hisense TV is in the top spot in terms of worldwide volume share and worldwide revenue share, and is continuing to lead in these categories.

Through its amazing technology and top-of-the-line products, Hisense has maintained continuous growth in the global TV market. According to Omdia, Hisense TV's volume share of shipment reached 12.1%, ranking second worldwide in terms of volume share of shipment in Q2 2022.

Hisense global TV shipments expected to exceed 20 million units in 2022

With the majority of the people spending more time at home during the pandemic, greater demand for and use of televisions has increased the probability of TV replacement or upgrade. With market demand for TVs on the upswing, Hisense large-screen TVs have gotten a good hold on the premium big-screen market.

Omdia reports that in Q2 2022, even as global TV shipments declined 11% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ), Hisense TV shipments continued to increase by 5% QoQ with a 1.9 ppts QoQ increase in volume share of shipment. Hisense has become one of the brands with the highest growth in global TV shipments and with sustained growth for three consecutive years.

Hisense expects its global TV shipments to exceed 20 million units in 2022. Of these, shipments to the People’s Republic of China (PRC) market will account for 35% and 65% to other markets.
