LG Philippines held an online event to showcase its newest home entertainment system offerings.

Focusing on ‘Life in Details’, LG collaborated with influencers and tastemakers from all walks of life to discuss how LG’s latest home entertainment options are the perfect upgrade as you stay at home. 

Each of the personalities had their own unique experiences with LG’s home entertainment products. They talked about how they spent more time at home with these, they were able to integrate it to their lives, both for work and for play. 

Multi-talented actor Mikael Daez delved into how LG UltraGear™ gaming monitors leveled up his gameplay and how the UltraWide™ monitor helped in working-from-home, while acclaimed film director Mik Red gushed about the unrivaled cinematic experience offered by LG OLED TV. PBA all-star LA Tenorio shared his observations on how self-lit pixels excel in sports, and beauty queen Megan Young admired the fast response time the OLED TV offers. Tatler Homes Editor, Stephanie Zubiri discussed how LG OLED fits perfectly inside a smart home thanks to its AI technology, while long-time LG brand ambassador James Deakin went into detail about pure colors of LG Real 8K NanoCell TVs.

Arellano University partners with Globe for the efficient delivery of its blending learning platform for school year 2020-2021

Face-to-face instruction continues to be out of the picture due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In hopes of still providing a safe learning environment for students, educational institutions have pushed for continuing education through synchronous and asynchronous online learning. In line with this, Arellano University (AU) partnered with Globe in the acquisition of Internet modems suitable for blended learning.

The university secured Globe at Home Prepaid WiFi units for students, faculty, and staff which will be helpful in the delivery of AU’s blended learning program known as the Pegasus Learning Management System (PLMS) to the homes of all its students from all levels for school year 2020 to 2021. All Home Prepaid WiFi kits include a WiFi modem and a LAN port, free 10GB data allocation, and access to educational applications that prove valuable in the online learning process. 

 

“Globe was the connectivity provider of choice because of the plug and play feature of its modem kit which encourages the users to stay at home in order to further protect them from risks and dangers associated with the COVID-19 pandemic,” shares Francisco P.V.
