Bridging the gap between education and employment, leading online job portal Jobstreet by SEEK has recently partnered with WorldSkills Philippines by Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) in line with th e 2024 Philippine National Skills Competition held at the World Trade Center in Pasay. This collaboration aims to provide Senior High School (SHS) and Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) learners with valuable insights into job-seeking skills.

The partnership led by Jobstreet by SEEK and TESDA seeks to expand digital empowerment to SHS and TVET learners, equipping them with career counseling and exploration activities to help them discover their passions and strengths by providing guidance to enhance employability skills such as resume writing and interview strategies, especially in an increasingly digital job landscape.

“I believe that this partnership with WorldSkills Philippines by TESDA serves as a crucial stepping stone for SHS and TVET learners who will eventually become the country’s future workforce,” shared Dannah Majarocon, Managing Director of Jobstreet by SEEK in the Philippines.

“By equipping SHS and TVET learners with the necessary job-seeking and upskilling skills to navigate the country’s increasingly digital job market, we believe that job security in the Philippines can be improved for the years to come.
