David Archuleta marks a bold and confident new chapter with EP Earthly Delights

American singer-songwriter David Archuleta marks a bold and confident new chapter with EP Earthly Delights. Basking in the worldwide success of his hit single, ‘Crème Brûlée’ and follow-up single, ‘Can I Call You’, David is now ready to share more from his first collection of new music in over five years in Earthly Delights.

Earthly Delights Track List

1. Give You The World

2. Crème Brûlée

3. Can I Call You

4. Lucky

5. Home

6. Dulce Amor

On more about Earthly Delights, David shares, “I’m in my indulgence mode when it comes to giving into my sensuality. Something I always villainized before. There’s something sweet about being naughty. And it’s actually helped me to get in touch with more tender vulnerable parts of myself. So Earthly Delights is taking in the pleasures of what I always thought would keep me out of heaven. For the belief I always had of the hell and unhappiness I would experience for giving into my “carnal nature” of sexuality, which is the natural instinct of humans and even what leads to the source of life itself, here’s to a big F you to my old fears and embracing the sensual side and “earthly delights” of how good and rich it feels. It really is the source to life.”

Questioning the beliefs and indoctrination of his youth, the innately angelic David Archuleta has fallen out of graces with the church and his family. Traversing through his own personal hells, he finds a connection with his inner strength in the process— and grounding in his own authentic queer identity. David now re-emerges into the realm of earthly delights. Here, he explores the pleasures and pain of terrestrial life: the sweet indulgences of connection and heartbreak, sensuality and physicality. Innocent at the core, but now balanced and rounded by newfound flirtiness and sass, boldness and humor— he’s an embodied being of the earth, here to take in the full spectrum of what life has to offer, with courage, playfulness, and a beaming inner light.

Additionally, just days before releasing Earthly Delights, David premiered the music video for ‘Dulce Amor’ on August 12, 2025. A seamless fusion of English and Spanish, ‘Dulce Amor’ is a shimmering pop track that captures the rush of falling hard and fast for someone you just want more of, blending the flirtatious energy of ‘Crème Brûlée’ and the sultry ache of ‘Can I Call You’.

David Archuelta is a Miami-born singer and songwriter who first stepped into the spotlight at age 17, quickly establishing a genuine star power that can’t be manufactured. Over the years, he has captivated audiences with his radiant personality and phenomenal voice, producing multiple platinum-selling hits, earning global acclaim as a dynamic live performer, and emerging as an undeniable fixture on the pop-culture scene.

"Everybody Hurts" by David Archuleta (originally by R.E.M.)

David Archuleta has released the music video for his version of “Everybody Hurts.”
The song comes from his fifth studio album BEGIN.

“Everybody Hurts” was originally released as a 1993 single from American rock band R.E.M. In the liner notes of the band’s album In Time: The Best of R.E.M. 1988–2003, the R.E.M. guitarist Peter Buck wrote that “the reason the lyrics are so typically straightforward is because it was aimed at teenagers.”

When your day is long
And the night, the night is yours alone
When you're sure you've had enough
Of this life, well hang on

Don't let yourself go
'Cause everybody cries
And everybody hurts sometimes

Sometimes everything is wrong
Now it's time to sing along
When your day is night alone (Hold on, hold on)
If you feel like letting go (Hold on)
If you think you've had too much
Of this life, well hang on

Everybody hurts
Take comfort in your friends
Everybody hurts
Don't throw your hand, oh no

Don't throw your hand
If you feel like you're alone
No, no, no, you are not alone

If you're on your own in this life
The days and nights are long
When you think you've had too much of this life to hang on

Well, everybody hurts sometimes
Everybody cries
Everybody hurts sometimes
And everybody hurts sometimes

So hold on, hold on
Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on
Everybody hurts
