Kids can play with their imagination in a giant cartoon-making activity that involves building the Giant Ben 10 and other Cartoon Network favorites.

Capping this event is a parade led by the SM Marching Band - featuring today’s well-loved characters: Ben Tennyson from Ben 10, Gumball and Darwin from The Amazing World of Gumball, Finn and Jake from Adventure Time, and Oggy from Oggy and the Cockroaches.  
The kids are surely in for a surprise, as the NIDO FORTIFIED Science Discovery Center gives them an exclusive sneak peek to the center’s newest galleries, offering a never-before seen treat. 
Boasting of eleven new galleries updated with fresh new material kids are sure to love, The Nido Fortified Science Discovery Center brings a brand new world of interactive fun and excitement. 
With over a thousand interaction points, each gallery can keep 800 hands, eyes, and senses busy with various touch, mechanical, and visual exhibits. The center’s new facilities are designed to keep a high level of engagement at all times, giving children a unique way of learning while having fun at play.
This is the replica of Lolong,  the world’s largest saltwater crocodile captured last year in the Philippines, the largest in captivity and now in the Guinness World Records.

Scotch-Brite™ Clean Up Project benefits UP PGH Cancer Institute



Scotch-Brite™, through its The Cleanup Project, helped the Cancer Institute of the UP-PGH sanitize its facilities as part of the brand’s regular advocacy to help clean various communities it serves. Scotch-Brite™has been driving its reputation of providing brilliant cleaning tools to help make the world a brighter place.


Volunteer employees of 3M Philippines, along with the Cancer Institute’s staff, used Scotch-Brite™ cleaning tools to make the cancer facility cleaner and brighter in time for the Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. The activity covered the clinic, wards, and the rest of the Cancer Institute building. It also coincided with the Cancer Institute’s quarterly general cleaning schedule.

The Cancer Institute was closed to all patients during the cleanup to avoid inconvenience and ensure thorough implementation of the project. Part of this project is a donation of brand new Scotch-Brite™ cleaning tools courtesy of 3M Philippines to help the cancer facility sustain its maintenance and cleanliness policies and practices. The donated cleaning tools included outdoor gloves, furniture cloth, mops, mop wringer bucket, among many others.

The Clean-up Project initially helped West Rembo Elementary School, and is intended to help more institutions in the coming year. We hope to encourage other organizations to help us in bringing The Clean Up Project forward so we can help turn more communities all over the country become cleaner and brighter in years to come," Mr. Florendo said.

Wreck-It-Ralph looks like loads of fun, and that’s partially due to the cameos from famous video game characters. 

Synopsis:
Walt Disney Animation Studios and Emmy(R)-winning director Rich Moore (TV’s “The Simpsons,” “Futurama”) take moviegoers on a hilarious, arcade-game-hopping journey in “Wreck-It Ralph.” Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly, “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby,” “Step Brothers”) is tired of being overshadowed by Fix-It Felix (voice of Jack McBrayer, “30 Rock”), the “good guy” star of their game who always gets to save the day. But after decades doing the same thing andseeing all the glory go to Felix, Ralph decides he’s tired of playing the role of a bad guy. He takes matters into his own massive hands and sets off on a game-hopping journey across the arcade through every generation of video games to prove he’s got what it takes to be a hero.
