Never borrow from the future

An Angel says, 'Never borrow from the future. If you worry about what may happen tomorrow and it doesn't happen, you have worried in vain. Even if it does happen, you have to worry twice.'

1. Pray
2. Go to bed on time.
3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.
4. Say No to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health.
5. Delegate tasks to capable others.

6. Simplify and unclutter your life.
7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.)
8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places.
9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things all together.
10. Take one day at a time.

11. Separate worries from concerns . If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety . If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it.
12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases.
13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc.
14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble.
15. Do something for the Kid in You everyday.

16. Carry a Bible with you to read while waiting in line.
17. Get enough rest
18. Eat right.
19 Get organized so everything has its place.
20. Listen to a tape while driving that can help improve your quality of life.

21. Write down thoughts and inspirations.
22. Every day, find time to be alone.
23. Having problems? Talk to God on the spot. Try to nip small problems in the bud. Don't wait until it's time to go to bed to try and pray.
24. Make friends with Godly people.
25. Keep a folder of favorite scriptures on hand.

26. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good 'Thank you Jesus '
27. Laugh.
28. Laugh some more!
29. Take your work seriously, but not yourself at all.
30. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can).

31. Be kind to unkind people (they probably need it the most).
32. Sit on your ego
33 Talk less; listen more.
34. Slow down.
35. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe.

36 Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for that you've never been grateful for before. GOD HAS A WAY OF TURNING THINGS AROUND FOR YOU.
'If God is for us, who can be against us?' (Romans 8:31)

OPM boyband 1:43 handpicked to open American Idol mall tours

POP HEARTTHROBS 1:43 (pronounced as “one forty-three”) was handpicked by international label MCA Music as guest performers in the much-anticipated American Idol Season 10 mall tours in Trinoma and Market! Market! on Sunday and Monday, respectively.

The mall tour features the Top 11 finalists of American Idol Season 10 including Casey Abrams, Haley Reinhart, Jacob Lusk, James Durbin, Lauren Alaina, Naima Adedapo, Paul McDonald, Pia Toscano, Stefano Langone, Fil-American Thia Megia and winner Scotty McCreery. This is the very first time for these idols to perform in Asia.

“It’s such an honor to perform in the American Idol malls shows. We are a big fan of the reality TV show for so long now that’s why I still can’t believe until now that we’ll have an opportunity to share the stage with its top 11 finalists,” says 1:43 lead vocals Yuki Sakamoto.

A fusion of Asian looks and genuine Original Pilipino Music (OPM) pop music, the boyband is composed of Sakamoto, an HRM student from Centro Escolar University (CEU), Anjo Resurreccion, a University of Santo Tomas (UST) Psychology graduate and a member of a university theater group; Gold Aquino, a Business Administration student from CEU and a campus heartthrob; and Kim Nicolas a Nursing student from Trinity University of Asia and a Candy Magazine model.

1:43’s debut slambook inspired album titled “Time for Love” is recognized by record bars Astroplus and Odyssey as one of today’s bestselling album. It contains 10 tracks of original OPM pop music including its hit single “Pag-Ibig Na Kaya?” or “PiNK” and the controversial “Merry Christmas Na” which was released as a digital single in 2010.

American Idol is one of the most popular reality-based series on American television and has gained a worldwide fan base. The show seeks to discover new recording artists through a series of televised auditions and competitions.

Finalists and winners must get the approval of the three judges and votes of viewers. Viewers cast their vote by calling one toll-free telephone number assigned for each finalist.

American Idol holds the record of being the number one TV show for seven consecutive seasons. The tenth season’s panel of judges include Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson.

“We are excited to meet the AI finalist in person, especially my crush Thia. I find her extremely talented and beautiful and I am proud that she’s also Filipino,” relates Gold.

Fans of 1:43 are encouraged to support the boy band as they perform with some of the biggest stars of Hollywood for an unforgettable day of great music and world-class live performances, covering the genres of country music, jazz, pop and rock.

Inspirational and Motivational to Change Your Life

20 WORDS TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE

Begin
Take Charge of your life by beginning something you've always wanted to do.
If your goal seems overwhelming, start small.

Imagine
Your imagination has no boundaries...
'Dreaming about something is the first step toward achieving it.

Laugh
Laughter is a direct route to your soul.
It broadens your perspective, keeps you healthy, and makes an unbearable situation easier to deal with.

Believe
Set your mind to predict success.
Tell yourself you WILL succeed at whatever you're doing at the moment.

Seek
Allow yourself to grow by exposing your vunerability and insecurity.
Don't live strictly inside your comfort zone --
Don't always play it safe.

Play
We can always find something "that needs to be done" and we forget how to have fun.
Make a conscious effort to take time off --
You'll feel refreshed and able to think more clearly afterwards.

Trust
By being paralyzed by indecision is worse than making the wrong decision.
You can't grow if you don't trust your inner voice.

Listen
Try listening carefully to the other person's point of view FIRST,
without being preoccupied or distracted.
You'll really hear what is being said
and the other person is more likely to pay attention to your views.

Create
Creativity maintains the balance in our lives.
The more we use our creativity, the more it develops.

Connect
Relationships are what pull us through the hard times,
and make the good times meaningful.
Take the time to nuture the connections that uplift you.

Touch
Humans need touch to survive and thrive.
Don't forget to hug your loved ones.
Pat your friends on the back, literally and figuratively.

Forgive
Forgiveness is life-changing because it puts you in charge.
You become empowered.

Pray
Prayer is asking God to transform the situation and become the heart of your life.
Take time each day to nuture this connection.

Hope
Hope is the knowledge that even in the worst of times
We can triumph over hardship and sorrow and grow in spirit.
Hope is what sustains humanity.

Choose
We can't always choose our circumstances, but we can choose our attitudes towards them.

Appreciate
Admire the good in yourself and in those around you.

Give
Happiness involves giving freely to others and not necessarily wanting something in return.

Read
Reading removes boundaries.

Write
Words are freedom. Words are power.

Release
Avoid doing something just because everyone said you should.
Give yourself permission to relax.

This is very inspirational and in video form. It encourages and enlightenment. Very inspiring and if one is feeling down , and read this, watch the video, he/she will be hopeful, feel happy,  and inspired. Life will be change right and beautifully. Always watch and read ... Smile ! :)

This is with a  beautiful song by Simon Webbe  entitled No Worries.

Pinatubo@20 - A Photo Exhibit

The exhibit features rare photographs taken by photojournalists whose lives were endangered while
covering the deadly eruption that saw daylight turn into night, destroyed millions of pesos worth of property and left thousands homeless.

The dramatic photographs on display hope to remind the people of the unforgettable "man against nature" episode in our country's history that tested man's fortitude.

Also to be showcased are images of present-day communities which have recovered from the devastation of June 15, 1991 and have moved on to rebuild their lives, as well as the award-winning photographs of Albert Garcia, the first Filipino to have won the prestigious World Press Photo grand prize with his compelling shots of Mt. Pinatubo's fury.

Opening and cocktails on September 19, 2011 at 1:30pm at the Atrium Second Floor of The Podium.

The photographs will also be exhibited during the Tambayayong Festival at the Southbay Pavilion in Carson City, California, USA on October 1-31, 2011.
