GALINCO: 25 Years of Creating Delightful Memories Para sa Pamilyang Pilipino

It was in 1996 when Chips Delight first hit the shelves. These freshly baked and melt-in-your-mouth chocolate chip cookies were the delicious creation of Grand Alphatech International Corporation (GALINCO).

Founded by its visionary entrepreneurial Chairman William Co Buchong, GALINCO has always aspired to make products that proclaim “Ang galing ng Pinoy!”, Mr. Co Buchong believes in exporting world-class products made from the Philippines rather than “exporting” Filipinos separating them from their loved ones.

Now, 25 years later, GALINCO continues to innovate, create, and deliver delightful treats to millions of families, not just here in the Philippines but around the world.

From its first-ever Chips Delight chocolate chip cookies, GALINCO went on to expand its product line to several other delicacies and chocolate snacks.

GALINCO Chief Operating Officer Josephine Co-Salonga who was trained in baking in the UK explains: “Humbled by the success of Chips Delight cookies, we made it our mission to consistently cater and come up with products that can be shared by Filipino families, wherever they may be.'' True enough, GALINCO’s irresistible confectionaries and snacks are now staples in every home: Chips Delight, those nostalgic cookies with choco bits—which now comes in other delectable flavors: Striped Chocolate, Striped Cappuccino, Triple Chocolate, Soft Brownie, Peanut & Caramel, and Coffee Caramel. Smileys, the cream-filled cookie that’s every kid’s go-to baon; Egg Bites, treats that are baked-to-perfection and made with real fresh eggs; Sarap Pinoy features easy-to-prepare traditional Filipino snacks like puto, kutsinta, and champorado; Mr. Wow Gulaman, powder-based jelly desserts that are simple and quick to prepare; Cream Delight, hearty and delicious spreads; And to give Filipino families even more variety, GALINCO now bakes fudgy and moist Chips Delight Brownies–which comes with chocolate, white chocolate, and cashew nuts. More delicious chocolate treats are on the way!

Made for Filipinos by Filipinos, it’s really no wonder how GALINCO perfectly captured the panlasang Pinoy that makes the Filipino family bonding experience delightful, creating joy and memories to be treasured for all times.

But GALINCO has not just sweetened every Filipino family’s bonding moment. It has also shared their success with the community. Because Josephine’s mom was a school teacher for 40 years, education is at the core of their corporate social responsibility. GALINCO has donated numerous school buildings in less privileged areas of rural Philippines, which also acts as evacuation centers in times of disaster; gives scholarships to needy families; supports orphanages and abused children; provides community firefighting equipment and aids volunteers—pursuits they will all actively continue in the years to come.

Co-Salonga reiterated that GALINCO owes its success to its millions of customers who have chosen their snacks throughout the years. “Our company would not be where it is had it not been for our loyal patrons, team members, and partners. They keep us inspired and motivated to continue bringing high-quality products and delicacies to Filipino homes, which we will continue to happily do. We remain true to our mission—to bring a delightful experience for everyone, every day.”

Tips to protect yourself and your family from dengue

This rainy season, protect yourself and loved ones from dengue.

The rainy season is here and with it comes to a higher risk of being infected with dengue, which is mainly transmitted by a mosquito called Aedesaegypti and is common in many tropical countries like the Philippines. In 2019, the Department of Health (DOH) declared a national dengue epidemic when the recorded cases from January to July 2019 reached 146,062.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), dengue is a viral infection causing a severe flu-like illness and sometimes even a potentially lethal complication. This complication may cause plasma leaking that may lead to shock or respiratory distress from fluid accumulation, severe bleeding, and even severe organ impairment and death.

Here are some tips on how you can protect yourself and your loved ones from getting infected with dengue, according to the Department of Health:

Keep your house mosquito-free. Try to prevent the breeding of Aedes mosquitoes in your home. They usually breed in ponds, puddles, and stagnant water in soda cans, bottles, or any water-filled container. Cover your water containers and make sure to get rid of stagnant water on a daily basis. Also, throw your trash regularly. Aside from that, consider having your house fogged for mosquitoes to prevent a dengue outbreak.

Protect yourself from mosquito bites. To protect yourself from mosquito bites, wear pants and tops with long sleeves to cover your arms and legs. Experts also advise to use insect repellant containing 20-30% DEET (N,N-Diethyl-m-toluamide) or 20% picaridin.

Seek early medical consultation. Watch out for warning signs of dengue-like nausea, vomiting, rashes, ache or pain typically behind the eyes, and muscle, joint, or bone pain.If you suspect that you have dengue fever, consult a doctor immediately. In the event that you’re diagnosed, be sure to follow your doctor’s recommendations to prevent further complications.

Treating dengue may come at a hefty price. A dengue test alone can cost you up toPHP3,000. Once diagnosed, the average medical cost of one-week confinement is at least PHP20,000 in public hospitals and PHP40,000 in private hospitals. For severe cases, which may require treatments beyond one week, hospitalization and medicines may reach up to PHP800,000. To help you be prepared if diagnosed with unexpected illnesses like dengue and its complications, AXA Philippines, one of the country’s leading insurance providers, offers its new health insurance product, Health Care Access, a comprehensive and affordable health care solution for one’s hospitalization and medical needs.

It comes in two plan types: Health Care Access Prime and Health Care Access Lite.

Health Care Access Prime provides comprehensive coverage of up to PHP 5,000,000 annually and is ideal for those who have no HMO like entrepreneurs, freelancers, and consultants. Health Care Access Prime offers inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care treatment up to the plan’s Annual Benefit Limit (ABL). Health Care Access Prime also offers preventive care benefits and life and accident insurance up to PHP500,000. Moreover, customers can include an optical care benefit to the plan by paying a small additional annual premium.

For those with HMO coverage from their employment but need additional protection, Health Care Access Lite is designed to provide just that on top of one’s existing health care plan or personal health fund. Health Care Access Lite includes life and insurance accident coverage up to PHP500,000. In addition, you can enhance the coverage of your plan with outpatient care, optical care, or dental care benefit by paying a small additional premium. Both plan types include a Longevity Health Fund, a lump sum cash benefit that can be access at 76 years old for future medical needs.

TCS goIT students develop apps to address different community challenges

Tata Consultancy Services celebrated the success of their goIT education program in the Cordillera Region

Tata Consultancy Services, a leading global IT services, consulting and business solutions organization, held an awarding ceremony on September 29 for the students of Cordillera who successfully completed their goIT program journey. Together with TCS executives and the Department of Education-Cordillera Administrative Region (DepED-CAR), ten groups from different schools in the said region created mobile applications to provide solutions to the many societal issues that their respective communities are facing today.

A year after its successful launch in Cordillera, TCS’ goIT program, which aims to demystify computer science and encourage students to pursue STEM education, successfully introduced to the students the design thinking, digital technologies, and agile methodologies. The program helped students gain 21st century skills which prepared them for the tech-driven world and will help to improve their communities and support the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

“On behalf of the entire TCS Philippines team, we would like to congratulate our first batch of goIT students in the Philippines. Their output proved that the Filipino youth are capable of creating a better future for the country. TCS is eager to bring the success of goIT Cordillera to the other parts of the Philippines and showcase the Filipino students’ impeccable talent for technology,” shared Shiju Varghese, TCS Philippines Country Head

The goIT program was implemented throughout the academic year with an engaging curriculum which includes innovation life cycle, product prototyping and industry-relevant entrepreneurial skills. The program was facilitated by TCS employee volunteers who are delivery heads, system analysts and team leaders from different business units. These employees provided industry context and real-world scenarios which helped students have a better grasp about the different IT careers.

The technological leaders of Northern Luzon

Through the partnership of TCS and DepEd–CAR, the goIT program reached the six provinces in the region, namely Abra, Apayao, Benguet, Ifugao, Mt. Province and Kalinga and engaged almost 300 students. TCS proudly presents the winning entries who undoubtedly showcased their skills and learnings from the goIT program through a mobile application.

The Cordillera Regional Science High School bagged the champion award with its entry “Transformers”. The app provided a solution to the community’s dilemma on waste management. The group highlighted the beauty in the trash by creating a marketplace between companies and regular consumers for an organized recycling and upcycling transactions. The app hopes to collaborate with GPS Tracking and delivery service providers for more convenient and safe disposal of orders. The app will not only provide income to its users but will also help the environment fight waste pollution.

The Cordillera Regional Science High School also won 1st runner up with its other entry Comstop which aimed to deliver solutions to the region’s food waste problems. The 2nd place was awarded to the app TY Alert from Alejo M. Pacalso Memorial High School. The app was designed as a holistic source of information in times of typhoons and relevant calamities. Baguio City Science National High School with the app Anemo and the Mountain Province General Comprehensive High School with their entry WeCare tied at the 3rd place. The Anemo addressed the challenges in water consumption while WeCare tackled the pressing issues about Mental Health. All winners will receive certificates, medals and trophies.

The Transformers app team from the Cordillera Regional Science High School shares, “It feels surreal to be considered as the TCS goIT Digital Innovation Fair 2021 Champion. We know that everyone put their best foot forward and exerted so much effort to create innovative outputs to help address the issues in our communities. This award won't be possible without the help and support of our coach, school, teachers, and the people behind TCS Philippines who relentlessly believe in the talent and skills of Filipino Youth. We're truly grateful for the opportunity and learning experiences. To all the participants, may we all be reminded that we are all game-changers here. We're all catalysts of change.”

TCS and DepEd-CAR celebrates these students’ achievement in creating a storyboard and mobile app prototype that addresses the issues of their communities such as lack of water supply, electricity consumption, education, mental health and medical assistance, and lack of awareness of natural disasters and calamities.

"We are extremely proud of our students here in the Cordillera Administrative Region for coming up with solutions to help their communities amid the many challenges we are facing today. DepEd-CAR is grateful to TCS Philippines for giving our students this opportunity to learn and contribute to society. DepEd-CAR remains firm in promoting quality education for every Filipino youth and in helping students become critical thinkers and more adept with technological skills needed in creating a better future. We are hoping that the goIT program will continue to encourage students to pursue STEM. DepEd–CAR is open and looking forward for more projects like this with TCS," said Estela Cariño, Department of Education–Cordillera Administrative Region Regional Director.

Patrick Veril, TCS Philippines CSR Manager also added that “goIT Cordillera is just the beginning of the many more TCS goIT projects in the Philippines. More than the official culminating of our first leg, our heart is full in witnessing how the young minds are aware of the needs of their communities and are capable of transforming society. TCS Philippines is grateful to DepEd–CAR for the partnership and the support from day one to this day.”

For the safety of the students and the rest of the participants, the awarding ceremony was held virtually via Zoom. Banking on Building on Belief as its core value, TCS vows to continue its initiative to help students improve their technology skills and build more digital leaders of tomorrow.

TCS’ goIT is a signature community engagement program in North America, LATAM, Europe, and the Asia Pasific. It is tailored to meet the specific needs of local communities in each region. The program is estimated to have reached more than 97,000 students worldwide across 32 countries.

Do you want to be an Artist? Join the annual year-end ABS-CBN Star Magic Workshops

Do you want to be part of Star Magic’s Artist Registry talent pool and get a chance to act in ABS-CBN’s teleseryes?

The annual year-end Star Magic Workshops are about to kick off! Have the chance to be part of our Artist Registry and act in ABS-CBN shows and digital productions.

Hosted by Lou Yanong, together with Kiara Takahashi, Andi Abaya, Kobie Brown, and Christian Bables, and Head of Star Magic Artist Training and Workshops Direk Rahyan Carlos, know more about how you can take part of this awesome opportunity anywhere you are in the world.

After the success of the recent online launch of Star Magic Workshops, they will re-open the Artist Registry of Star Magic, to welcome more talents from our public workshops. Now, students will have more access to auditions and will have a chance to be a talent for the network’s teleseryes!

When the pandemic shut down all countries, their borders and economies last year, Rahyan Carlos, head of the Star Magic Artist Training and Workshops did not waste time in studying and finding ways to transpose all workshops and training for the actors. “Last April 2020 after a month-long of intensive studying, auditing classes abroad and transposing modules online with my teachers, we resumed the training for acting, dance, voice and conversational tagalog via zoom. And it worked!” said Direk Rahyan.

Even if after the network’s shutdown happened last year, this did not dampen the spirit of Direk Rahyan to stop training actors. In fact, he and his teachers held all workshops online via zoom. In June 2020, Star Magic had a soft launch of all workshops online. “We had 250 students all over the world during the pandemic from 22 participating countries such as England, London, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan, Australia, Florence Italy, Virginia, New York, L.A., Guam, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, France, New Jersey, Dubai, Qatar and Canada. We had live and recorded online recitals and culminating activities of all our workshops and people were so entertained and cheered for their loved ones who participated in the online training,” said Direk Rahyan.

Last October 2020, Star Magic Workshops also launched its first-ever online workshop for participants in Canada in partnership with A.M.P. (Artist Movement Production), a group of Filipinos who provide education and training services in various aspects of the performing arts. The workshop was done in Canada EST time and the vernacular used was English since some of the Filipino participants were born and raised in Canada. Canada has the largest Filipino ethnic community and market for the performing arts. 40 participants graduated from the soft launch of the intensive workshop last year and it was a success!

This year-end, in partnership with Annabelle Regalado of E-Talent Musikademy, we will open our workshops in Australia. We will also do the first hybrid workshops in Canada under A.M.P. where 80 percent of training will be online and 20 percent will be face-to-face workshops as we will bring the rehearsal and recital physically to Toronto, Canada.

Direk Rahyan is the only certified Chubbuck Technique acting teacher behind the training of some of the most sought-after and award-winning actors of today such as Christian Bables, Coco Martin, Julia Barretto, Jake Cuenca, Liza Diño-Seguerra, Anna Luna, EJ Falcon, Alora Sasam, Ynna Asistio, Roco Nacino, Sandino Martin, Arjo Atayde, Paulo Avelino, Joshua Garcia, and Charlie Dizon, the recent Best Actress of MMFF 2020 for Fan Girl, among others.

More than the new elements in the Star Magic Summer 2021 Workshops, the same exclusive, focused and international-grade lessons through the help of the award-winning and seasoned teachers remain at its core.

Compared to other training, Star Magic Workshops are not only comprehensive --they are also exclusive to only a limited number of participants. Since all training will be done via Zoom App, the teachers will be able to focus on each student’s progress.

The adult acting classes are still handled by Carla Martinez and Rubi Rubi along with Lynnette Conception and Air Paz Pablico, while the kids’ acting classes are still handled by Edna Mae Landicho and HB Benitez. The dance classes are divided into three different genres namely jazz funk, hiphop and urban led by Nesh Janiola III of Axis, Brion Lim and Myke Monses of Manouvres Ignite and Geejay Romano, respectively. Meanwhile, the voice classes are still going to be led by Philippine Madrigal Singer alumni, Luningning San Jose, Julie Anne Reyes and Roland Roldan.

Those who aspire to be trained by professional and practicing teachers in acting, dance, voice and language are all welcome to join the workshops. Enrollment is ongoing, and all classes will start in November 2021. This will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Nadine Lustre, Curtismith, Ben&Ben top bill KonsultaMD’s free mental health concert

Telehealth service provider KonsultaMD is bringing some of the country’s top artists together for a night of healing, music, and fun in the first-ever mental health concert on October 9, 5:30pm on KonsultaMD’s official Facebook page.

The lineup includes popular actress and singer Nadine Lustre, indie rapper, singer-songwriter Curtismith, folk-pop band Ben&Ben, and two of the nation’s hottest DJs -- Nix Damn P and Marvelous.

The concert is the culmination of KonsultaMD’s month-long “Be Kind To Your Mind” campaign which aimed to spread awareness about the importance of mental health among Filipinos.

Cholo Tagaysay, KonsultaMD CEO shared that the Philippines has come a long way when it comes to mental health awareness, although understanding that there is still some work to be done in order to standardize mental health services in the country.

He said, “More often than not, what stops a patient from seeking professional help for their mental health is the shame or stigma that it’s admitting to weakness, but what we want Filipinos to know is that seeking help is actually a form of strength. That is why, we at KonsultaMD remain committed in making consultations accessible to those who need it through our platforms and programs. This concert is only one of many that we hope to roll out for our patients and customers.”

Artists Nadine Lustre and Ben&Ben have been long-time advocates for better mental health and well-being -- using their individual platforms to spread awareness and encourage others to take the step in caring for themselves and others.

Last September 12, KonsultaMD, together with Mental Health Matters actress, model, and former beauty queen Kylie Versoza launched the campaign to support World Suicide Prevention Day. The activities included free yoga classes and free meditation and sound healing.

There were also talks about navigating the new normal, keeping relationships during the pandemic, and asking for help as an adult with speakers such as Dr. Gia Sison, Thirsty and Thirty, Kara Gozali, Mark Agas, Maxene Magalona, Zara Carbonell, Dr. Kenjee Dee, Dr. Aubrey Señeris, and Kylie Versoza.

Customers can get a free one-month health plan with 24/7 unlimited access to licensed mental health professionals until Oct 31st. All they have to do is download the KonsultaMD app and use the voucher code BEKINDTOYOURMIND to avail of the promo.

KonsultaMD is a 24/7 telehealth service provider manned by skilled and licensed Filipino doctors who give medical assessment and advice on basic healthcare and mental health. It is one of the portfolio companies under 917Ventures, the country’s largest corporate venture builder.

Globe’s #PlantHappinessPH mental health campaign amasses over 168.7 million TikTok views in just a week

Globe’s #PlantHappinessPH mental health initiative has amassed 168.7 million views on TikTok in just a week, as it spreads hope and happiness to show that #AtinAngSimpleJoys no matter how difficult a situation may be.

The campaign went live last September 27, receiving over 275 video entries from medical frontliners, delivery riders, work-from-home moms, office workers, and entrepreneurs, to name a few. It brought focus to dancing and planting as hobbies that can help relieve people’s stress and anxiety. Scored by the song “Better Days 2.0” by Quest, the video challenge reminds people that there are better days ahead and everything will be alright.

“We are so happy that in just a short time, we already received an astounding number of video submissions from TikTokers who danced, showed off their plant collections, sang along, documented their COVID vaccination, and showed their other simple joys such as cooking, working out, and taking care of their pets to promote mental health and well-being,” said Yoly Crisanto, Globe Chief Sustainability Officer and SVP for Corporate Communications.

#PlantHappinessPH has become the battle cry for hope. The challenge had dance video entries from GMA’s Sanya Lopez, Mark Herras, Rodjun Cruz, Kiray Celis, and Chuckie Dreyfus; VJ Ai dela Cruz from Myx; Mikee Agustin and Joj and Jai Agpangan from ABS-CBN as well as social media personalities including Arianne Bautista, Lennie Enverga, Marlann Flores, Klio Manabat, and Claudine Co.

As part of efforts to go the extra mile to provide care for its customers, Globe will give away thousands of free seeds and seedlings to those who joined the challenge. The company wants to help channel the anxiety being experienced by customers into positive and uplifting activities such as dancing or taking care of plants.

Participants in the Greater Manila Area get Langka and Guyabano seedlings, while those in other locations are allocated Supa and Bignay tree seeds. These were sourced from Globe sustainability partners Philippine Native Tree Enthusiasts and The Mead Foundation. Visit the www.0917lifestyle.com website and check out using the promo code SIMPLEJOYS to get the items for free.

“We are always proactively seeking out ways to bring uplifting experiences and solutions to help our customers have good mental health. Healthy hobbies and the pursuit of simple joys are some ways to stay mentally healthy. We want to remind everyone that they are not alone in the fight against stress and anxiety. Globe fully supports their mental health wellness journey,” said Crisanto.

Based on the Mental Health Atlas 2017 of the World Health Organization (WHO), mental illness is the third most common disability in the Philippines. Around six million Filipinos are estimated to be suffering from depression or anxiety. The Philippines has the third-highest rate of mental health problems in the Western Pacific Region.

As part of the company’s mental health initiatives, Globe has also partnered with the DepEd’s Disaster Risk Reduction Management Service and Bureau of Human Resource and Organizational Development Employee Welfare Division to support the well-being of teachers through TAYO Naman! (Tulong, Alaga, Yakap at Oras para sa mga Tagapagtaguyod ng Edukasyon), an online Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) program for all education advocates, including teachers, non-teaching personnel, and parents under Globe’s Global Filipino Teachers Program.

In addition, Globe encourages the public to access its “lifelines” such as HOPELINE to receive FREE 24/7 mental health support. Persons experiencing emotional crisis and who are in need of immediate assistance may contact the hotline through 2919 (toll-free for all Globe and TM subscribers), (02) 804-HOPE (4673), or 0917 558 HOPE (4673). Globe and New Good Feelings (NGF) Mindstrong have also expanded their partnership to include telehealth service integrator HealthNow app where Globe and TM subscribers may quickly call the NGF HOPELINE for FREE anytime they want to talk to someone.

Globe supports the Philippines as it celebrates the National Mental Health Week in the second week of October. The company also joins the observance of World Mental Health Day on October 10.

Globe strongly supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly UN SDG No. 3, which ensures healthy lives and promotes the well-being of all ages. It is also committed to UN SDG No. 13, which underscores the importance of climate action to save lives and livelihoods to address climate emergencies and UN SDG No. 15, which promotes the protection, restoration, and sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems. Globe upholds the UN Global Compact Principles and contributes to 10 UN SDGs.

Shopee Supports Brands Participating in 10.10 by Cultivating Customer Loyalty and Comprehensive Marketing Solutions

Deerma, Havaianas, Johnson & Johnson, and P&G Beauty share how effective Shopee’s marketing tools are in helping them grow their brand online

As e-commerce continues to see strong growth in the Philippines, brands continue to redouble their marketing efforts. This includes expanding the brands’ presence across all channels, including on Shopee, the leading e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. With the surge of consumers driving the need for digital transformation, four brands share how they maximize the potential of e-commerce with the support from Shopee’s various programs and enhanced marketing solutions.

Johnson & Johnson reaches new customers with Shopee Brand Memberships Program

Shopee helps brands encourage loyalty with its Brand Memberships Program, which was launched in July of this year. It is a new customer management and retention tool that enables brands on Shopee Mall to build deeper connections with potential and existing customers, converting them into valuable lifetime customers. For Johnson & Johnson, the program drove customer retention and repeat purchases from their store on the Shopee platform. The program was also an opportunity for the brand to express its gratitude towards loyal customers by providing them with rewards, redeemable gifts and vouchers, and exclusive access to the best deals.

Denise Peralta, Head of E-commerce at Johnson & Johnson Philippines Inc., said, “The program gave us access to a new customer base that we could engage with via the chat broadcast. We maximized this feature at our recently concluded Super Brand Day, which delivered results 108% above target. Moreover, members who bought our special deals were able to earn more points, and we intend to continue giving them these unique deals this upcoming 10.10!”

Havaianas ties up in-app tools with off-platform initiatives

Renowned Brazilian flip flops and sandals brand Havaianas launched its official Shopee store in March of 2020 to expand its digital presence in leading platforms through Terry SA, the exclusive Philippine distributor of Havaianas. With Shopee’s support, Havaianas consistently performs well on the platform as they were able to tap on the marketing solutions such as Shopee ads and campaign packages to complement Havaianas’ off-platform initiatives, driving greater synergy across branding and marketing. The efforts resulted in top sales during Shopee big campaigns, and this milestone is recognized across Asia by the Havaianas regional office and globally by Facebook Business.

Jenny Teves, Marketing Director at Havaianas Philippines, said, “E-commerce is here to stay, and the market behaviors have shifted. Any company determined to succeed in retail needs to transform its business to adapt to these changes -- It’s time to level up or get left behind. Our online growth would not be complete without establishing a store in Shopee, and they have always been a supportive partner in expanding our business on the platform. Through Shopee ads, mega campaign packages, and Shopee Live streams, along with their help and guidance, we have reached and surpassed our targets consistently.”

Deerma sees success with vouchers, deals, and promos

Established in 2011, Deerma Group offers household and kitchen appliances with good design, durable quality, and high-cost performance. With plans to expand their production efforts, Deerma joined Shopee in October of 2020. They tapped into other regions and promoted their product line effectively. The brand achieved and maintained a monthly average growth of 30 percent in sales, and this is largely due to the app’s promotional tools such as Vouchers, Discount Promotions, Bundle Deals, and engagement features like Shopee Live and Chat.

Jane Xuan, General Manager of ORRO Home, said, “Deerma continues to grow with the strong support of Shopee. They guided us throughout our partnership, which helped us commit and improve our overall performance. We will continue to work with Shopee to create a better tomorrow for every Filipino household.”

P&G Beauty fosters growth with engagement tools on Shopee

P&G Beauty joined Shopee to reach customers across the country. Through various Shopee campaigns, P&G Beauty can meet the needs of every Filipino family in a convenient and rewarding manner. With Shopee’s in-app tools such as Chat broadcasts and Shopee Live, P&G Beauty continuously grows on the platform, recording significant milestones such as improved effectiveness in driving conversion, increased engagement, and a 20 percent increase in sales. Notable P&G Beauty brands such as Pantene, Oral B, Whisper, Gillette, Rejoice, Herbal Essences, Old Spice, Olay Body Science, Safeguard, and Head & Shoulders, drove high conversion rates during big campaigns, with the last three being the highest performing brands.

Shania Felizarta, E-Commerce Brand Manager at P&G Beauty, said, “Salamat Shopee for giving us a space where collaboration and creativity are limitless! The team we work with at Shopee collaborates with us to ensure that growth is shared. We thank Shopee for being supportive and flexible to help bring our ideas to life, providing customers safe and convenient access to the things they need, as well as much joy throughout this pandemic.”
