Billboard and dick clark productions announced today that international music sensation Rihanna will perform on the “2016 Billboard Music Awards”, almost ten years to the day since her first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 (“SOS” hit the charts on May 13, 2006 and spent a total of three weeks at No. 1). The “2016 Billboard Music Awards” will broadcast LIVE from Las Vegas on Monday, May 23 8am (7am JKT/BKK) on RTL CBS Entertainment HD. This year’s show, which will be hosted by hip-hop artist Ludacris and international music sensation Ciara, will showcase big performances, unexpected collaborations and much-discussed pop culture moments. 99.99%-Bacteria-free water in your condo




Many people nowadays are filtering and purifying their water or even buying expensive mineral water for health and safety reasons. 

If you think the best way to have 99.99-percent bacteria-free purified drinking water in your condominium is to get them from water-refilling stations, think again.

Wish 107.5 Ultimate Fandom Challenge Top Contenders Gear Up for Final Round

Wish 107.5 fm station offers a whole new kind of fm radio broadcasting that is sure to entertain and enthuse the listeners. Granting not only song requests but also the listeners’ own personal wishes, as the station intends to inspire and prove that wishes do come true.

And more excitingly nowadays, Wish 107.5 is not just your ordinary fm station. A custom-built mobile radio bus roving around the busy streets of Metro Manila, showcasing live performances of your favorite artists is also something to look forward to from Wish 107.5.

Recently, Wish 107.5 presents of what the station has prepared for the final round of the friendly fandom competition. The media conference was held at Vagabonds Artisan Comfort Food in Timog, Quezon City.



After over two weeks of intense battle, the recently named top contenders of the first Wish 107.5 Ultimate Fandom Challenge are now gearing up for the competition’s final round.

Darren Espanto topped the online voting and also emerged victorious during the Twitter trending battle held on May 15. The group made it to the number one and eight spots of the Philippines and worldwide trends lists, respectively.

Apart from another round of online voting and Twitter trending battles, the remaining fandoms will go through a set of more intense challenges for the competition’s final stage. This includes an adventure race and a special collaboration with their favorite artist to be judged by prominent figures in the industry.

The genuine benefits of employee volunteerism


A wise man once said: Choose a job you like, and you will never work a day in your life. For some employees, this becomes true once they volunteer for the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects.

It makes me feel better and reminds me of my childhood days when even the simplest gift and show of concern from someone will bring you genuine happiness,” said Kevin Bonifacio, a Resident Engineer of SM City Tarlac. Through the mall’s Adopt a Daycare program, Kevin was able to take time off from his work and spend it meaningfully for underprivileged kids of their community.

Needless to say, employees who are given a chance by their employers to take part in community engagement become motivated and get a morale boost. Mall Manager Michael Uy affirms that the experience is humbling. A volunteer at SM North EDSA’s Brigada Eskwela, he helped repair damaged classroom furniture and repaint walls of a public school. “It inspires us to work harder. The most fun part is the teamwork that all volunteers had during the whole activity,” Michael shared.

SM’s EVPs get big participation from its employee base. For the benefit of public schools, about 2,500 employees contributed their time, effort and personal resources for the activities. A program for the elderly gathered 67% of the total population of SM employees as volunteers, while a Christmas EVP received 66% participation, with 75% coming from mall-based employees.

Eventually, employee volunteerism leads to both personal and professional growth. Those who volunteer in company CSR programs became more engaged at work, creating a more dynamic and positive office culture. They develop better communication and leadership skills and become more fulfilled in their respective jobs. More importantly, they become more appreciative of the kind of work they do in and out of the four walls of the office.

The story of Wafu began in 2012. Established by Bryan Tiu, the visionary behind brands such as Teriyaki Boy, Peri-Peri Charcoal Chicken, and Ichiba: Japanese Market.

In line with its 4th Anniversary, Wafu introduces its new Executive Chef, Onishi Nobuyoshi, or Chef Nobu. Chef Nobu hails from Osaka and moved to Tokyo to pursue his dream of becoming a Master Sushi Chef. He achieved more than 30 years of experience working in prestigious sushi restaurants in the Ginza Tokyo area. Prior to coming to Wafu to head the kitchen team, Chef Nobu was a Master Sushi Chef of the highly prestigious Midori Sushi. Now, Chef Nobu, lends his years of experience to ensure that every dish served in Wafu follow the highest standards of quality and authenticity.

With a new executive chef comes a new Wafu menu. Featuring improved Wafu favorites as well as all new items, the new Wafu menu gives you an authentic taste of Japanese cuisine.
