Power Tool Demand on the Rise

The vibrant construction industry – marked by the government’s “Build, Build, Build” campaign alongside with the property development boom – drove the increasing customer demand for quality power tool products. Add to that is the growing need for electricians and construction workers, which is predicted to be highly desirable in the next four years, according to the Department of Labor and Employment.

Contractors and private developers likewise expressed confidence that the construction boom is going to continue its momentum, and thus call for modern and innovative construction equipment that can help them run the tasks efficiently. Bosch has stepped into the positive opportunity to address the market’s needs and strengthen the brand’s presence among its supporters and end-users.

“The government’s aggressive infrastructure efforts coupled with the rise of opportunities in the construction segment has led Bosch to step up in providing the most efficient solutions to serve the thriving market,” said Go. “The One Stop Shop is Bosch’s answer to the rising interest of construction tools and accessories from do-it-yourselfers (DIYers) and professional contractors.”

Bosch will first be focusing in the National Capital Region where the construction segment is highly concentrated. Located at the heart of Metro Manila, the Bosch One Stop Shop will be a hub for end-users in the region who can look through and experience Bosch’s wide range of tools, from heavy-duty requirements down to accessories. Bosch Power Tools is looking to expand its footprint and will soon launch its second One Stop Shop to serve its loyal customers from the Mindanao region in Davao City.

Panda Construction Supply Inc., one of Bosch’s premium dealers and a long-time supporter of Bosch, has offered itself in sharing the same commitment to bring highly-efficient and quality tools closer to its users. Since 2010, Panda Construction has enjoyed year-on-year growth sales from carrying Bosch Power Tools. With the establishment of the One Stop Shop, Panda Construction is optimistic to reach further upsurge. Since the opening of the One Stop Shop, the retail company saw 20% increase in foot traffic.

The Ultimate Solutions Hub

Users can expect to find the most sought-after product ranges at the Bosch One Stop Shop, as it will feature its entire lineup of efficient Bosch 12V and 18V Cordless Range, affordable line of Contractor’s Choice Range, Heavy Duty Range, Measuring Tools, High Pressure Washers, Accessories, as well as Dremel Rotary Tools. The shop is manned by highly-trained customer personnel who can explain, demonstrate, and determine the right product according to the user’s needs.

Specialized products will also be showcased in the shop. Such as the Bosch GSI 14 CE Furnisher and the GFF 22A Biscuit Jointer, that will be sold exclusively at the Bosch One Stop Shop.

“This new venture enables us to take active participation in this exciting time in the infrastructure industry,” said Go. “We look forward to see more end-users find their perfect solutions at the Bosch One Stop Shop!”
