Jennifer Lopez with Global Cosmetic Brand Inglot creates the line - from mascara, lipsticks, eyelashes, blush, eyeshadow, highlighters and, of course, bronzers.

The much talked about 70-piece cosmetic collection of Hollywood A-lister Jennifer Lopez is now in the Philippines!

Global European brand Inglot launched the JLo collection that includes powders to lipsticks, shadows to eyelashes, bronzers and highlighters done in full collaboration with Jennifer Lopez, in an exclusive media and by invitation event held at the Fashion Hall of SM Megamall.

Inglot was named after its creator, Polish entrepreneurial chemist Wojciech Inglot who started with a small pharmacy during the communist era. After the fall of communism in Poland, he bought his own chemical equipment and embarked on the formulation of breathable nail polish.

Inglot’s breathable nail polish project led him to discover the world of cosmetics. His interest in shifting his attention to the manufacture of makeup was further bolstered in his visit to the US where he saw how big cosmetics business was.

Today, Inglot stands as one of the most successful makeup companies in the world and made even bigger with its exclusive collaboration with JLo.

For the very first time in her glittering showbiz career, JLo stepped behind the scenes to collaborate with Inglot. The result is the limited edition of JLo collection that showcased a shared vision of strong femininity to life and offers women diverse ways to express themselves through beauty. The JLo collection hopes to make the authentic JLo Glow accessible to any woman.

Inglot is brought to the Philippines by the Laverne Luxe Group composed of sisters Michelle Laverne Lim-Gankee, Hazel Laverne Lim-Lee Hok, and Pauline Laverne Lim.

“The Jennifer Lopez capsule collection is filled with JLo’s go-to beauty products in her favorite colors. It also includes the Inglot signature “Freedom System Palette” which allows women to create their own personalized makeup combination,” said the Laverne sisters.

Apart from “Freedom System”, which allows you to choose your own palette and color, Inglot products are paraben-free, cruelty-free, and dermatologically tested.

At the said launch, the Laverne sisters also introduced inspiring celebrity moms, Andi Eigenmann and Sarah Lahbati, as the women of Inglot Philippines.

“Both Andi and Sarah have the guts and sassiness of JLo and a free vibe which is what Inglot stands for”, the sisters added.

Andi said that outside of showbiz, she is a very simple person and her new more laidback lifestyle no longer involves a lot of cosmetics.

“I don’t need a stash of makeup just to get one or two shades that I want. So, it makes sense for me to buy Inglot not only because of its quality but because it has freedom palette that allows me to have all my favorite colors and makeup in just one case,” Andi said.

In the eye-opening interview, J Lo opens up about looking for the One. her life's mistakes and future plans. 

‘I still believe in love. The nirvana man, he’s out there somewhere. But you just have to work at it. You have to work at everything.'

"Everybody has seen that I make mistakes. I have to look at what I do wrong. I rush in, I get swept up, I ignore the signs. But so many of us are guilty of these things. Each time it goes wrong it’s hard. I get really hurt but I have to let myself go." 

'Every single album I have ever made is about love. But I am not going to give up. What did I do? What can I learn?’ And as hard and as hurtful as things get, I want to believe I will be able to go one step higher. I’ve got to hope that if I keep going I will eventually get it right."

On future career plans, "I like to tick a lot of boxes. I have a five-year plan. I always have a five and a 10-year plan. If this business is about anything, it’s about reinventing yourself. You have to keep moving, taking risks."

"Is it worth making mistakes, in my case in public, and trying to figure out what you do and balance everything and constantly grow?" 

"I'd say yes. None of it is easy, none of it is safe – you are going to get big highs and you are going to get big lows, so it’s not for everyone – but that's exciting. You just need to believe in yourself."

We had the viewing party and as we witnessed how the judges, Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban make and break the dreams of initial hopefuls at Star World's American Idol Season 13! As this is the new batch of amazing hidden talent, presents, make and break it through the auditions to the semi-finals.

I really enjoy Jennifer, Harry and Keith as the judges so much more peaceful and joyful to watch. Harry,  is hilarious and so much fun to watch. I think the judges have great chemistry. I love the chemistry between all of them!

American Idol is Back!

Grammy Award-winning recording artist, actress, movie and television producer and entrepreneur Jennifer Lopez returns to American Idol XIII as a judge. Lopez will be joined by Grammy- and Emmy Award-winning multi-platinum singer, musician, songwriter, composer and film/television and Broadway actor Harry Connick, Jr. The two will sit on the IDOL judges’ panel with previously announced judge Keith Urban, the four-time Grammy Award-winning country artist.

The thirteenth season of American Idol, is slated to premiere on the television network this January 2014. Keith Urban returned for his second season as a judge. Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick, Jr. joined the judging panel as replacement judges for Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and Randy Jackson. Rickey Minor will return to the show as musical director.
