Caronia, a brand known for prettifying the nails of Filipina women for more than 50 years now, launches a new summer collection called “Tropical Glam,” which features fresh and sparkly light-colored polishes that exude the fun in summer.

Caronia Brand Officer Rachel Enciso said that the tropical glam collection was inspired by the many hues of summer. 

“We aspire to continue delighting an avid loyal following of generations past, together with a new breed of empowered young Filipinas with our new nail color releases and innovative product offerings. For the Tropical Glam collection, we also opted to focus on softer but shimmering pastel colors that can mix and match with any outfit or with any activity most girls have planned for the summer,” said by Caronia Brand Officer Rachel Enciso. 

Whether heading out to the beach or just frolicking in the malls, girls can fabulously nail their summer vibe by putting on any of the fun pastel, summery, and glittery shade of Caronia’s Tropical Glam collection.

Vivienne Rudd, Senior Beauty Analyst at Mintel, a famous marketing research company in the US, revealed that groomed nails have a positive impact on confidence to some extent for eight in 10 women and six in 10 of all adults.

Now, with these summer colors, girls will not only have confidence and positivity but style and glamour as well. The collection is truly for “girls who are glamorously summer crazy”

The Tropical Glam collection has six trendy and glamorous colors in two collection packs – the Tropical Glam Shimmer set and the Tropical Glam Metallic set, that girls can choose from.

Tropical Glam Shimmer set is composed of Limelight, Primrose, and Fantasia.

Limelight is a glittery ocean green shade and, just like the ocean, it sparkles in the sun. Primrose is a baby pink in matte finish perfect for a rustic summer feel. Fantasia is a glittery darker pink shade that sparkles with any outfit;

Tropical Glam Metallic set consists of Fairy Dust, Lumina, and Ethereal.

Lumina has a light gold shimmer that perfectly gives off that earthy summer vibe. Fairy Dust is a metallic silver like the sparkling waves of the sea and Ethereal is a shimmering deep rose gold that blends well with any outdoor summer activity.

To amp up the summer fun vibe, Caronia has released a first edition of a DIY Nail Art magazine to its partner salons nationwide and girls can choose from an assortment of nail art concepts using the Tropical Glam collection.

In celebration of Caronia’s more than 50 years in the industry, the magazine has 50 nail art designs where girls can surely find a perfect design to match with the new summer collection, or let the imagination run wild when it comes to creativity in doing nail art.

ORLY, the leading nail polish brand worldwide, held a beauty dialogue featuring three inspiring Filipina women who have led significant contributions in their respective fields: Doctor Geraldine Zamora, whose strength and resolve to help her patients is known in the field of Rheumatology and Internal Medicine; Journalist Margaux Salcedo, with her crystal-clear narrative of events and places in her weekly column; and compleat Actor Pinky Amador whose talent is well-known globally, were invited to join ORLY International Vice President for Sales, Nadia Deering, in discussing the importance of women helping other women thrive in their particular areas of expertise. 

The event emphasized the need for everyone to look closely at their own uniqueness, especially in this era where one is gauged by the optics of social media and celebrate distinctiveness to promote a kinder and a more loving look of oneself and others. 

The all-white afternoon tea party last Tuesday, 19 February, at the Marco Polo Hotel also served as the launch of ORLY’s newest innovation, the ORLY Gel FX Builder in a Bottle. The product is an effortless, all-in-one, brush-on builder application that offers flawless and more natural looking nail extensions. 

Elsbeth Schutz, ORLY Ambassador, was also present to train professional nail technicians who will be the primary users of the new product.
