1st Philippine BPO - Virtual Assistant Conference

The 1st Philippine BPO - Virtual Assistant Conference was held at Informatics College, Eastwood Libis, last Saturday, July 20, 2013.
The BPO Conference  deliver the crucial information that will ignite your career to work as a Philippine Virtual Assistant. It's as if you are surrounded by mentors that you did not even know exist. As a new or experienced virtual assistant you want to remain at the forefront of your field for new technology innovations and trends.

This was the great time to listen to many successful international and local expert professionals in the IT-BPO field. It is rare for successful people in there different sectors of the IT-BPO virtual assistant industry to come together and share their knowledge and expertise to encourage the growth of Filipino Virtual Assistants.

The Philippine BPO Virtual Assistant industry is rapidly growing and we need more qualified and trained individuals who can meet this demand. There is a need for skilled people in website development, software solutions , voice and non voice services, front and back end processes. It is forecasted that the IT-BPO industry can expand to 25 billion dollars in annual revenue. If this is achieved the industry will need to employ more than 1.3 million direct employees and a vast force of work at home professionals as well.

Kim Chiu and Xian Lim‘s first big screen team-up in “Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo"

In continuing celebration of its 20th anniversary in the movie industry, Star Cinema creates another milestone as it returns to movie adaptation via Kim Chiu and Xian Lim‘s first big screen team-up “Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo,” a comedy movie based from the best-selling humor book by self-proclaimed ‘Internet action star’ Ramon Bautista.
“Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo” is directed by blockbuster director Bb. Joyce Bernal and under the script by Bautista himself and Carmi Raymundo, the writer of the box-office hit “It Takes A Man And A Woman;” the witty yet funny “Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo” will hit cinemas nationwide on July 31, 2013.
After tackling family issues in its kick-off anniversary offering “Four Sisters And A Wedding” and the controversial connected tales of life, dream, and love in Skylight Films’ upcoming drama movie offering “Tuhog” that will be shown nationwide this Wednesday (July 17), Star Cinema and its loyal viewers will talk about an experience that everyone can relate to and learn from – moving on from a heart break, but with a funny twist!
“Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo” is a a ‘self-help’ comedy movie about the lives of brainy ‘ugly duckling’ employee Sandy Veloso (Kim) and his rich and dashing boss Alex Prieto (Xian).
From an interesting encounter, the boss and the assistant will find themselves sealing a deal–Sandy will help Alex learn the ropes for him to effectively run their company, while Alex helps Sandy learn to play the practical game of dating and relationships for her to get back on her ex-boyfriend Gardo and not get her heart broken ever again.
