Now with over 10.9 million views and 240,000 shares on Facebook, Jollibee’s latest Chickenjoy Perfect Pairs TVC, produced along with PublicisJimenezBasic, has now reached viral status.

It takes off from one of the made-for-digital #KwentongJollibee Valentines’ Series hits last February titled “Vow,” which was co-created by Jollibee with its other creative agency, McCann Worldgroup Philippines.

“Vow” is a story told from the point of a view of a guy, played by MJ Tam, who has feelings for his best friend (Miles Atadero). Netizens the world over have fallen in love with MJ’s character, as it was relatable to anyone who has ever loved unconditionally.

The newest Chickenjoy 99 Perfect Pairs TV commercial follows the emotional storyline, this time featuring another character on the sidelines all along. The now viral “Vow” sequel follows the story of MJ’s original best friend, portrayed by Chesca Floirendo, as she watches MJ fall in love with another girl (Miles). She waits patiently, and unconditionally supports and loves him throughout the years. Years after, MJ and Chesca find themselves in Jollibee again, this time finding a perfect pair in each other!

“The inspiration behind this new TV commercial is ‘perfect timing,’” shares Francis Flores, Jollibee Global Brand Chief Marketing Officer and Philippines Marketing Head. “Just like with the 99 Perfect Pairs, there’s always something perfect waiting for Chickenjoy lovers at Jollibee.”

The 99 Perfect Pairs are a great way to take the classic Chickenjoy meal with rice to the next level. Choose any of your favorite side: Jolly Crispy Fries for a savory, crispy treat; Creamy Macaroni Soup for a warm, hearty starter; or opt for a sweet ending with a Mini Sundae. The best part? This complete meal comes with a regular drink, too, for only P99.00*!

Heart of Kapitan for the country's heroes - Puso ni KAP para sa AFP at PNP

PAL Chairman Lucio C. Tan is granting special privileges for the men and women of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Philippine National Police in recognition of their sacrifices for the country.

Dr. Tan is granting 40 kilos free baggage allowance to AFP and PNP personnel in active service traveling on all PAL domestic routes on official or personal capacity.

PAL continues to support the PH troops amid the Marawi crisis by granting special privileges to AFP and PNP personnel. Earlier this month, PAL chairman Dr. Lucio Tan has also personally turned over a P2 million check donation to support the country’s soldiers.

Military personnel are required to present their valid identification card upon check in at the airport. Baggage in excess of the free baggage allowance of 40 kilos shall be assessed the applicable excess baggage rates.

This grant, which is applicable across all fare brands, shall be valid only for travel until 31 December 2017.

“My heart goes out to our country's heroes and heroines who have sacrificed their lives in the battlefield and to all those who continue fighting to save Marawi and other critical areas. You deserve the country's highest honor,”stressed Chairman Tan.
In addition, a 20% discount on ALL regular domestic fare brands (except budget economy fare brands) is also being provided to all active members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Philippine National Police for any type of travel – official or personal. AFP and PNP personnel must present a valid ID card upon ticketing.

On July 25, 2017, President Rodrigo Duterte will be honoring fallen soldiers of Marawi in Malacanang Palace with the family members of deceased soldiers as special guests.

PAL is extending two free domestic tickets to Manila for each family attending the said event called “Salamat Magigiting na Mandirigma, Go Negosyo Kapatid from Marawi Financial Assistance to the Families of Fallen Heroes”.

Earlier, the flag carrier donated two million pesos to the AFP for the soldiers who are fighting or have fought in Marawi.

The Tan Yan Kee Foundation – the corporate social responsibility arm of the LT Group as well as the PAL foundation are carrying out donation drives and humanitarian cargo grants, respectively, for those affected by the Marawi situation.

You are Called to Rescue against Human Trafficking

Called to Rescue and Boutique Burger Kitchen invite everyone to help stop human trafficking

Losing someone you love is a terrifying situation that no one would ever want to experience. This is the sad reality our society is facing today as every one minute, a child or a woman, becomes a victim of human trafficking. That's 500,000 head counts in 2016 alone.

Human trafficking is a serious problem in the country and will remain one unless everyone is called to rescue these children.

Called to Rescue founder Dr. Cyndi Romine and social media supporter Vince Nunez demonstrate basic self-defense to other supporters and volunteers
Take action with Called to Rescue, a non-profit, worldwide organization dedicated to the rescuing of minor children from sex trafficking, violence, and abuse.

Founded in 1988 by Dr. Cyndi Romine, who is one of the leading authorities in the fight against children injustices, Called to Rescue is dedicated towards combating child trafficking in three ways: prevention through education and training of youth of all ages and their parents, dedication to the child until he/she has experienced healing, and continuation in every aspect of child trafficking awareness. Called to Rescue Philippines was officially registered as a non-governmental organization (NGO) in 2009, with Mr. Anthony Pangilinan as its Officer-in-Charge.

Child trafficking cannot be tackled alone. That is why it is only through collaborative partnerships with individuals and organizations can this inhumane crime be stopped. Several advocates and social media supporters have recently gathered for an immersion program so that they can also inform and educate their network about the situation and how each one can help. The activity was organized by Called to Rescue supporters Stephanie Henares, communications agency ComCo Southeast Asia and Boutique Burger Kitchen (BBK), a family-oriented diner from Chef Carlo Miguel of Draft Gastropub that serves retro-style gourmet American burgers in the Fort Strip in Bonifacio Global City.

Defend the defenseless; save the children from being exploited for the gain of traffickers. A child lost to trafficking is the lost child of a devastated and helpless parent. Don’t let that happen to anyone else.

Report trafficking, abuse, and cases of missing children with the Called to Rescue’s local hotline at 0917-541-0287 or visit their Facebook page www.facebook.com/Called2RescuePh/ or website at calledtorescue.com.ph.

The new ambassador of Silka, Yassi Pressman, shares her success story: “Great things come to those who wait”

The Filipino-British beauty, smart and talented actress, Yassi Pressman has been ranked among the country’s most sought-after leading ladies of this generation. In fact, her latest television project lists her as the main character’s lady love, a role that propelled the 22-year-old actress into ultimate stardom. However, many people do not realize that Yassi has been in the showbiz industry for more than a decade, and that her path to success hasn’t always been a walk through the park.

“Marami akong naging pagsubok sa showbiz. Ilang beses na din akong hindi natanggap sa mga audition, pero tuloy lang ang laban. Sabi ko nga sa sarili ko, don’t try to rush things that need time to grow. With hard work, dadating ang para sa iyo sa tamang panahon kasi kapag minamadali, nagkakamali,” says Yassi.

Now at the peak of her acting career, Yassi spends an average of 8 hours in a shoot and sits in the hair and make-up chair for around 3 hours. With barely enough time to sleep and rest, Yassi is able to maintain a healthy, bright and beautiful skin.

The secret to her glow? Silka Papaya Soap, the number one beauty soap in the Philippines.

Packed with papaya enzymes for exfoliation and Vitamin E for moisturizing, Silka Papaya Soap gives Yassi naturally beautiful skin.

“Yassi’s career demands her to be always at her best and to maintain a healthy, glowing skin. With Silka Papaya Soap, we make sure to take care of Yassi’s skin in an everyday basis. There are no instant solutions because beauty is an everyday regimen. This is paralleled with the success story of Yassi and that’s what makes her an inspiration to all the women who aspire to be like her,” says Jane Co, Silka’s Marketing Manager.

In the age of everything “instant,” Yassi is truly an example of grace, beauty and diligence. She knows that natural beauty is not rushed and more importantly, success is not something to be achieved overnight. And at the rate Yassi is going, it seems like this go-getter is not stopping anytime soon.
