A shining Golden Anniversary celebration with Uratex

Happy Golden Anniversary Uratex!

During Uratex’s 50th Anniversary Celebration with its industry partners and customers at Manila Hotel’s The Tent City, many gathered to send their well-wishes and at the same time spend the evening with fun entertainment, good food, and great company. The night was filled with fun and exciting performances from celebrities, such as OPM legend Rey Valera, who sang his classic hits and cracked some old timey jokes to ease up the crowd into the evening.

Singer-comedienne K Brosas, on the other hand, got the audience cackling throughout her set with impressions of iconic singers and some hard-hitting punchlines. 

The Concert King Martin Nievera crooned his way to the crowd and urged them to sing with him. 

And Uratex’s newest celebrity endorser, Matteo Guidicelli gave an equally swooning serenade, and expressed his heart-felt gratitude on being a part of the Uratex family.

In between performances, Uratex featured short videos telling the company’s story and how they got to where they are right now. There were several egg-related  and chicken booth activities and in-store promos, which bring fun for the whole family during the event.

First, there was a cooking demo from Chef Sherwin.

OctoberFresh also serve as the culminating activity to brand’s very own Egg and Chickenovela, featuring Chicky, the character representing all of Bounty Fresh’s products. She laid an egg and eventually lost it. Fortunately, her friends online did everything they can to find some clues on the whereabouts of her missing baby, which led them to TriNoma Activity Center.

Bounty Fresh’s chicken and egg products, which are strictly produced using only the state-of-the-art, ISO certified technology and processes, will be featured in several activities lined up for the whole day. Culinary segments, like a cooking demo, will use only the freshest, most nutritious, and definitely affordable to every Filipino family. This is in line with Bounty Fresh’s theme, OctoberFresh, which focuses on the many benefits in buying only the fresh products.

A great bounty awaited to a chosen few, who helped Chicky in finding her baby egg. But before they do, they will have to battle it out on stage, going through competitions like “SWEGG” Dance Challenge, “Beatbok” Challenge, and “Eggs Factor” Season 2 Cooking Challenge. A grand prize of Php 100,000 was be given away, along with consolation prizes, and some Masflex items. There were  lots of raffle prizes,  that everyone went home with a big smile on their faces. And when they couldn’t get enough of Bounty Fresh, there was Chicken and Egg Sale, where everyone  purchased these products at a very low price.

All of these activities and giveaways are the least Bounty Fresh can do to make its customers enjoy this year’s World Chicken and Egg Day. PLDT-Smart Foundation’s education advocacy and flagship program Gabay Guro is celebrating its 11th anniversary by bringing together thousands of teachers from all over the country for the much-awaited Grand Gathering 2018 on September 23, Sunday, at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Grand Gathering 2018 event is in time for National Teacher’s Month.

The Tasting Room 

The Tasting Room’s Father’s Day Dinner highlights its new a la carte menu including Wagyu Beef with Pot au feu Broth with Asparagus, Leeks & Sugar Snaps

With The Tasting Room’s new and elegant location at the ground level of NÜWA (just across its previous location) and new Chef de Cuisine Frederic Thevenet who brings with him an extensive 30-year culinary background working in Michelin-starred restaurants across Europe and Asia, dad’s discerning palate will be delighted with the modern French restaurant’s new degustation and ala carte menu.  

For an exquisite dining experience during Father’s day, dads can indulge in a four-course degustation menu that includes Beetroot with Angostura, Comte Cheese, Spinach; Lobster with Curry & Apricot, Chicken with Asparagus and Morels and Halo-halo & Baba Rum with Mango. The choice of a six-course degustation menu has additional dishes of King Crab with Scallop, Oyster, Cauliflower Jelly, Cucumber & Dill and Egg with Caviar and Haddock. 

The a la carte menu includes starters such as Oyster with grey shrimp, apple, cauliflower, beef gravlax, and Sarawak pepper; Foie Gras with apricot, figs, brioche, black olives, coco royale, crab, ham, and cuttlefish; and Asparagus with red wine pistachio, blue cheese, velvet soup, faiselle, and egg yolk. The Cod with parmesan, leeks truffle, and Iberico ham; and the Scallops with caviar, horseradish, rice, and caramelized onions comprise the seafood courses while the Pigeon with stuffed cabbage, Mostarda di Cremona, spinach, ginger, and calamansi; and the Wagyu Beef with Pot au Feu Broth, asparagus, leeks, sugar snaps, spelt, green curry, and porcini are the venue’s meat dishes.

The four-course menu is at P4,788++ per person and a six-course menu is at P7,600++. Wine pairing is offered at an additional P2,000++ and P2,800++, respectively.
