Wil Tower Construction on Schedule

Wil Tower, considered as the tallest mixed-use condominium development in Quezon City, gains momentum towards the completion of its first tower on December 2014. An anchor development of Vista Residences, the twin-tower complex has formally opened the four-story commercial atrium last year, ready to offer high-end retail, dining and leisure experiences to would-be residents and the public.

“By December 2014, the units—in studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom configurations—will be available for turnover to investors and residents,” says Elizabeth M. Kalaw, Vista Residences’ Division Head. “Because of Vista Residences’ solid track record in the real estate industry, the units are master planned and offered at prices that are fair to investors.

After the turnover of tower 1, tower 2 follows suit.

As soon as the first tower is turned over by December 2014, construction for Tower 2 will immediately follow suit. Investors can still look forward to the second tower which will be constructed immediately after the completion of the first tower. Just like its predecessor, Tower 2 will comprise of 42 stories, with the first four floors devoted to the commercial podium. Called Wil Tower Mall, this highlight of the development is the first of its kind in Quezon City to offer a multitude of retail choices—from upscale lifestyle brands to dining destinations such as Draft, Pho Hoa, My Thai Restaurant, Bench Fix, Starbucks and WBR (Wil Bar and Restaurant), among others.

In addition, prospective residents will also enjoy select amenities that include a swimming pool, a fully-fitted gym, a spa, an audio-video room, a game room and a day-care center.

Located along Eugenio Lopez Dr. in Quezon City, Wil Tower sits on the 3,000 sq.m. lot with an uninterrupted view of the surrounding vicinity. Aside from the amenities, the development boasts of an intelligent computer network that will manage and operate building features such as the elevators, security cameras, and fire and electrical systems.

Designed by the US-based, international architectural firm RTKL, with Arch Haus Asia Consultants as local counterpart, Wil Tower is envisioned to combine elegance and modernity in one structure, a showstopper amid the glitz and glam of the area which is home to the two giant networks, ABS-CBN and GMA 7. The interiors gleam with high-class glamour, highlighted by the evocative chandelier by Kenneth Cobonpue located in the atrium lobby, which is comprised of acrylic-cast butterflies that change colors through an LED system and outfitted along lines of hand-hammered steel. This work of art sets Wil Tower's tone as an embodiment of imaginative sophistication in a city that is emerging as an artistic hub.

“Given the location, the design, and the prestige of the project, we knew that our prospective investors and residents would have high expectations,” said Kalaw. “We were able to address that by combining topnotch amenities and features within reasonable price points. Add to that, not too many developments can boast of a high-end mall which part and parcel of the project.”

Aside from the amenities, features and the full-fledged commercial component, Wil Tower boasts of the benefits of centralized location. As mentioned, it is in close proximity to leading broadcast networks as well as the well-appointed cafés and fine-dining restaurants of Timog Avenue and Tomas Morato. Wil Tower is mere minutes away from select malls (Trinoma, SM North Edsa, Gateway), hospitals (St. Luke’s Hospital and Capitol Medical Center) and institutions of learning (University of the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila University and Miriam College).

Tony Meoto, as I call him Brother Tony, the head of Gawad Kalinga, inspires many of us where I started in the community of Couples for Christ (CFC). He became an active member of CFC and quickly rose in leadership, becoming instrumental in the setting up of the CFC Family Ministries in 1993. This expanded the reach of the mission beyond couples, to include children, youth and young professionals.

Gawad Kalinga (GK) is an organization geared towards building a nation empowered by people with faith and patriotism; a nation made up of caring and sharing communities, dedicated to eradicating poverty and restoring human dignity.

Gawad Kalinga sparks hope in the dream for a poverty free world – one family, one community and one country. GK777, the vision of building 700,000 homes in 7,000 communities in 7 years was launched year 2003 with the Couples for Christ community members, and all sectors of society to engage with GK.

Gawad Kalinga espouses volunteerism and relies on able and willing nation- builders in carrying out its mandate. In line with the mission of ending poverty for 5 million families by 2024, GK Youth Quezon City (the youth development arm of GK QC) takes care of 87 communities in the city. ABS-CBN stages simultaneous 5-city "ONE RUN, ONE PHILIPPINES"

Pinoys in five cities can run to save five environment projects including Pasig River rehabilitation
Thousands of participants are expected to take part in the “One Run, One Philippines,” the five-city simultaneous advocacy run of ABS-CBN in the Philippines and the United States this October 6 as part of ABS-CBN’s 60th anniversary celebration.

In cooperation of ABS-CBN Foundation’s Kapit Bisig Para sa Ilog Pasig (KBPIP), Regional Network Group (RNG) and The Filipino Channel (TFC), the “One Run, One Philippines” will invade Quezon City, Cebu City, Bacolod City, Davao City, and Los Angeles (USA) to clamor for the protection of various environmental advocacies.

"Participants are encouraged to bring their own reusable water bottles as disposable cups will not be provided at water stations positioned along the roads to promote environmental awareness and minimize waste production," said ABS-CBN Foundation managing director Gina Lopez at the press conference held at the Torre Venezia Suites, the official hotel partner of the event.

The Quezon City leg or the fifth “Run for the Pasig River” will be held at Quezon Memorial Circle (QMC) with 6:00 AM gunstart for both 3K and 5K categories. Starting line is located at the Technohub overpass. Participants will go straight along Commonwealth Avenue then head to QMC for the finish line.

As part of its preparation, lanes that will be used for the race will be closed at 2 AM on the event day, while the two outermost lanes on both sides of Commonwealth Avenue will remain open. The motorists are advised to take alternate routes if possible as heavy traffic is expected.

Parking zones located at Philcoa, Department of Agrarian Reform, Department of Agriculture, Department of Environmental and Natural Resources, Sugar Regulatory Commission, Trinoma, Wildlife, Quezon City Hall, National House Authority, and side streets of University Avenue, Visayas Avenue, North Avenue, Quezon Avenue, East Avenue and Kalayaan Avenue have been reserved for participants with vehicles.

Meanwhile, the three provincial legs will all start at 4:30 AM with its 21K category followed by the 5K and 10 K at 5:30 AM. Starting line of Cebu leg is at SM City Cebu, Davao leg is at the Abreeza Mall, while the Bacolod leg is at the Provincial Capitol Lagoon.

In 2009, the fun run funded the initial phase of Estero de Paco’s clean-up, while the historic “10.10.10 Run for the Pasig River” funded the second phase and even broke the Guinness World Record for the “most number of participants in a running event” with 116,086 runners.

We always dream to have something that will mean a relaxed lifestyle for us and our family.

Last Friday, I had an enjoyable tour at LAROSSA, an Urban Botanical Community right at the heart of Quezon City, accessible to many prime necessities for your convenient and easy living. LAROSSA in Capitol Hills is conveniently located near places of discovery, productivity and recreation.
Located at Bgy. Old Balara in Zuzuarregi Road and Capitol Hills Drive, LAROSSA is near  to schools, workplaces and recreational centers. It is just few minutes to University of the Philippines, UP-Ayala Technohub, Ateneo de Manila University, Mirriam College, Ayala Heights and Capitol Golf Course, and SM North Edsa and Trinoma Mall.
The Larossa Community provides residents with an ideal living environment that is serene, nature-filled and at the same time convenient in location and amenities.
It offers a lifestyle touched by nature, in an unbeatable urban location.

Finding an urban community that inspires the enjoyment of simple things for the family, home, serene community, It is a wonderful mix of old and new,  tradition and modern. The place was huge with the trees standing tall and most trees are 100 years old!
Larossa, the 36,401 square meter mid-rise residential is the official flagship project of Primehomes Real Esttate Development Corporation. They are working around the nature with 65% open space and 35% building space.

Primehomes is a very young real estate developer whose team is composed of 40% architects which make their company a design-driven organization.

Ms. Amica Sophia M. Paulino, the Chief Marketing Officer of PRIMEHOMES, shared us that PRIMEHOMES goal is to preserve the property’s century-old trees and to allow an intimate interaction with nature.

PRIMEHOMES nurtures the environment. It was master-planned to preserve the site’s pre-existing trees and natural features. LAROSSA is cleverly designed to make use of the natural shade of the majestic trees for a calm and cool atmosphere where residents can unwind and pursue leisure activities.

There are different pathways for jogging, walking and biking around the gated community. These pathways are connected by pedestrian crossroads for safety and are lined with lush landscaping for visual amusement.
