Manila, Philippines - realme Philippines, the consecutive two-year champion according to Canalys 2021-2022 reports, celebrates its first big milestone for 2023 with a 3-minute sold-out record on Shopee. During the February 15 maiden selling of the realme 10 Pro 5G, the new model sold 2 units per second on average, with the initial bulk going out of stock right after the sale went live at 12MN.

During the product launch last February 14, the speakers elaborated on the unique features of the realme 10 Pro 5G, such as the 1mm ultra thin side bezels made possible by RAZR Technology (Removed Adhesive Zero Resin), which allows for more compression when attaching the parts inside the smartphone, giving wider room to work with the display. Shortly after the local realme 10 Pro Series 5G launch, fans flooded the comments section on realme’s official Facebook page asking for the realme 10 Pro+ 5G, which was offered through pre-order basis.

In a recent post of Austine Huang, realme Philippines’ VP for Marketing, it was announced that the realme 10 Pro+ 5G will be available for purchasing at realme offline stores earlier. The brand is also currently preparing to accommodate the high demand so that the realme Squad can visit any realme offline stores and make their purchase sooner than expected!

Those who are availing the realme 10 Pro+ 5G in 8GB+128GB storage variant earlier will still get a FREE realme Power Bank 2 (10000mAh) worth P899 along with a FREE TechLife Buds Classic worth P499. J&T Express and realme join relief efforts for typhoon Agaton victims

Weeks following the onslaught of tropical storm Agaton over Eastern Visayas, communities continue to bear brunt of the impact with many still left displaced and in need of aid. Responding to calls for assistance, the country’s leading express delivery company, J&T Express and top global technology brand realme organized a joint relief operation for the residents in Brgy. Buenavista, Abuyog, Leyte which was among the worst-hit towns at the hands of the typhoon.

J&T Express and realme provided hygiene kits and realme Powerbank 2 with 10,000 mAh battery capacity to over 220 affected families who barely receive assistance due to their remote location.

“In time of adversities, especially on what happened to the residents of Abuyog, Leyte, it breaks our hearts to see how the people suffered in this kind of situation. Without hesitation, J&T Express took the opportunity to give its helping hand as we believe in the spirit of “bayanihan”. We are also thankful for our partner, realme, for working with us on this initiative for the people in Leyte,” said Zoe Chi, Vice President of J&T Express.

The relief operation was supported by the local government with Mayor Lemuel Gin Traya of Abuyog, Leyte in attendance during the distribution activity. The relief operation was also assisted by MSWDO Bernard-a Belacho and Brgy. Buenavista Chairman Pio Alvero together with Abuyog Philippine National Police.

“No effort is small during these tough times. The tournament streamed on the realme Philippine Facebook page, saw some of the local gaming community’s most popular influencers and streamers battle it out in Mobile Legends Livestream matches. Participating influencers included AkoSi Dogie, ChooxTV, Manjean, Sh1n Boo, Suzzysaur, Butters, and Rob Luna.

Team Panda emerged as the grand champions beating Team GHOST Wrecker during the grand finals held last December 22. realme announces three world’s-first technologies present in latest flagship lineup GT 2 Series

Innovation Forward Communication with Stable Signal and 360°NFC

The realme GT 2 Pro is equipped with an Antenna Array Matrix System consisting of three technologies: the world's first ultra-wide-band antenna switching technology (HyperSmart), a Wi-Fi Enhancer, and 360° near-field communication (NFC) technology.

realme's HyperSmart antenna switching technology is designed with 12 wrap-around antennas that cover all sides of the phone and support mainstream bands in almost all directions, all with the same signal strength. This allows the GT 2 Pro to intelligently evaluate the signal strength of all antennas and automatically select the one with the best signal.

In terms of the Wi-Fi network enhancer, the symmetrical Wi-Fi antenna is designed to ensure more balanced signal strength around the phone. In realme's tests, this design improved signal stability by 20% compared to the asymmetrical Wi-Fi antenna design.

The realme GT 2 Pro also integrates the top two cellular antennas with an NFC signal transceiver function, increasing the sensing area by 500% and the sensing distance by 20%. The entire upper part of the GT 2 Pro senses NFC signals in either direction, facilitating the use of NFC for swiping cards or smartphones.

both Lazada and Shopee.

This year 2021 has been nothing short of incredible for realme Philippines as it has achieved countless milestones that solidify its position in the industry. With the year coming to a close, the country’s no. 1 smartphone brand for the past three consecutive quarters once again showcased real strength with a successful 12.12 performance on both Lazada and Shopee.

Dubbed as realme’s Big Year-Ender Sale, the brand’s 12.12 campaign proved its commitment to providing the best digital lifestyle experience to every Filipino and becoming one with the Squad this holiday season. realme offered discounts of as much as 62% OFF on selected smartphones and TechLife devices, along with other deals such as free shipping, and giveaways during its livestream series on both platforms.

On Shopee, realme dominated the electronics category as it emerged as the no. 1 best-selling brand for mobiles and tablets based on units sold. Among the top-selling smartphones during the campaign were the ever-reliable realme C25-Y, and the #EntryLevelGamingChampion narzo 50A, which was noted to have sold 1,100 units in only 11 minutes. In addition, the brand performed well in the audio segment, ranking third in the category. realme also managed to achieve the fourth spot in the TV category, despite being a relatively new player with its first-ever Smart TV launched earlier this year.
