Katniss becomes the Mockingjay, a symbol of the rebellion. She attempts to save Peeta who was kidnapped by the Capitol. Throughout Mockingjay Part 1, we see Katniss struggling to cope with the loss of loved ones and the weight of her role in the rebellion.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 (2015)

The final film brings the trilogy to a thrilling conclusion. Katniss teams up with her closest friends and fellow rebels – Peeta, Gale Hawthorne (Liam Hemsworth), and Finnick Odair (Sam Claflin) – in a bid to defeat President Snow (Donald Sutherland) once and for all. As they take the battle in the streets of the Capitol, the rebels have to navigate through mortal traps, determine who the enemies are, and make moral choices that will determine the future of millions in Panem. In the end, Katniss understands that to truly liberate Panem’s citizens from a war that threatens to kill them all, she has to eliminate every single threat and put a total end to the bloodshed.

Mooneen officially launches “Rise of Elves” blockchain game in the Philippines

Taiwan-born gaming company Mooneen has officially launched its blockchain-based play-to-earn (P2E) game called “Rise of Elves” with a grand celebration at the Ayala Mall Circuit, Makati City, Philippines.

Inside Rise of Elves

Rise of Elves is a virtual world that runs on the Polygon blockchain, wherein players will be introduced to fascinating creatures known as “Elves.” These in-game items are represented by NFTs, which can be collected and traded on the game's marketplace for real money.

Players can compete in Player-Vs-Player (PVP) as “Arena” mode and Player-Vs-Environment (PVE) as “Adventure” mode. Players can also “Evolve” a new Elf on the official website, allowing them to build potentially more powerful teams and yield additional NFTs to sell on the marketplace.

ROE is the game's governance token that allows players to vote on new developments. ROE is given to players as a reward for competing in the Arena and placing on top of the tournament board COE is Rise of Elves’ in-game currency earned from playing in both the Adventure and

Arena modes. Both ROE and CEO are required for evolving new Elves. Meanwhile, MGB tokens are used to acquire Heroes and can only be earned through the Adventure mode or purchased from the marketplace.

The most significant difference between us and these blockchain pioneers lies in the rigorously calculated and disaster-avoiding design of our economic system. Additionally, our game modes and battle variations offer even more playability and diversity compared to our predecessors and competitors,” he added.

Chan envisions P2E games like Rise of Elves to serve as a gateway, opening up the world of Web3 to players who were originally in the Web2 space. “Our goal with 'Rise of Elves' is to continuously lower the entry barriers for regular mobile gamers, enabling them to enjoy the excitement and benefits of our gaming,” he said.

The tournament streamed on the realme Philippine Facebook page, saw some of the local gaming community’s most popular influencers and streamers battle it out in Mobile Legends Livestream matches. Participating influencers included AkoSi Dogie, ChooxTV, Manjean, Sh1n Boo, Suzzysaur, Butters, and Rob Luna.

Team Panda emerged as the grand champions beating Team GHOST Wrecker during the grand finals held last December 22. A massive 128 teams will battle it out during the qualifiers, which will begin on June 26 to July 4, with 32 squads joining the Group Stage on July 10 – 11 and a final 8 advancing to the Grand Finals on July 24 to 25, 2021.

The winning squad takes home PHP 50,000 and Redmi Note 5G for each team member, 2nd Place wins PHP 25,000 and, 3rd Place takes home PHP 15,000, and 4th Place will be awarded with PHP 10,000.
