Yahoo Celebrity Awards 2014 winners revealed, Vice Ganda for the ‘Social Media Award’ and ViceRylle the ‘Love Team of the Year

The Yahoo Celebrity Awards 2014 revealed the winners during the awards night held at the SM MAll of Asia Area this Friday, July 18 hosted by Robi Domingo and Maxene Magalona.

Big winners of the night are Vice Ganda for the ‘Social Media Award’ and with Karylle as ViceRylle ‘Love Team of the Year."

Kim Chu is the Actress of the Year and Coco Martin took home Actor of the Year award. 

Yahoo Celebrity Awards honors Philippines’ celebrities from the fields of movies, music, radio and television, who are voted into the top ranks by their fans from across the world.

The Yahoo Celebrity Awards 2014 winners from the 140 nominees across 28 categories and are not only the most popular awards in the country but also uniquely won “Powered by You” as fans have the exclusive power to vote their favorite stars in.

Padilla Movie : Sa Ngalan ng Ama, Ina, at mga Anak ("In the Name of the Father, Mother, and Children")

Sa Ngalan ng Ama, Ina, at mga Anak ("In the Name of the Father, Mother, and Children") is an upcoming Philippine action film featuring the Padilla family.
This is originally title “Kuratong Baleleng.” "Sa Ngalan ng Ama, Ina, at mga Anak," which is inspired by the organized crime syndicate Kuratong Baleleng, marks the team-up of several Padilla actors in one film, including Kylie, Bela, Matt, and RJ.

Daniel Padilla is switching genres in "Sa Ngalan ng Ama, Ina, at mga Anak," his first co-starring project with his uncle, action star Robin Padilla.


Robin's wife, actress-host Mariel Rodriguez, is also part of the film.

The ABS-CBN film arm is co-producing the action flick with the Padilla's RCP Productions.

The film started production in 2013 and was shortlisted as a potential entry to the MMFF, but ultimately failed to earn a slot.


"Sa Ngalan ng Ama, Ina, at mga Anak" is scheduled to hit theaters nationwide on January 29.

Robin Padilla and 10000 wins at the Metro Manila Film Festival 2013

Robin Padilla won Best Actor for his movie “10,000 Hours,” which also bagged the Best Picture award, in the 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival awards night December 27, held at the Meralco Theater. 
Maricel Soriano bagged the Best Actress trophy for her role in the Vice Ganda-starrer “Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy.” This Star Cinema and Viva Films co-production also won the 2nd Best Picture award and the citation for Most Gender Sensitive Film.

Ryzza Mae Dizon, of My Little Bossings won Best Child Performer.

"Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw", TV Series with Kris, Anne and Robin, premiere on January 21

Kris, Anne and Robin, caught in a love triangle in "Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw." And what's to be more complicated than love triangle with tangled relationships ?

Three showbiz royalties–Queen of all Media Kris Aquino, Box Office Queen Anne Curtis and Idol of the Masses Robin Padilla–will join forces in ABS-CBN’s highly-anticipated Primetime Bida drama series “Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw. The series, which is directed by Malu Sevilla and Bb. Joyce Bernal will premiere on January 21. 
In the story of the upcoming Kapamilya teleserye, Kris and Anne will play the roles of sisters Roxanne and Ruth, who will both fall in love with one man, Bogs who will be portrayed by Robin.

Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw is the story of Gregorio Dagohoy (Robin Padilla) a police investigator who accidentally meets the Manrique sisters; Ruth (Anne Curtis) and Roxanne (Kris Aquino) because of kidnapping incident. It happens that Ruth planned her own kidnapping and wanted to extort money from her family. Despite of her being the black sheep in the family and pushing her passion to be a model, her sister Roxanne remained faithful to her. Gregorio became close to the two sisters that has a connection to a crime that his father became involved despite of his innocence.

Aside from Kris, Anne and Robin, “Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw” will also feature Tirso Cruz III, Ian Veneracion, Smokey Manaloto, Gloria Sevilla, Karla Estrada, Laureen Uy, Emilio Garcia, Lito Pimentel, and Xyriel Manabat. Teen sensation Daniel Padilla will also be part of the series as he plays the role of the young Robin.
