The global beverage giant is currently showcasing its #PepsiHitSaSarap campaign material in Times Square, N.Y.C. and Downtown L.A. bringing a bit of the Philippines to the Filipinos abroad.

Pepsi’s Hit Sa Sarap campaign is all about the importance of enjoying meal time with friends and family showcased in a true Pepsi way that is hip and fun, utilizing music and vibrancy. As Filipinos, dining is an event that is looked forward to especially during special occasions and not a mere functional necessity. Given this, the elements of elevating a dining experience is essential to every meal. But just what makes a regular lunch or dinner good? The answer is basic. Food. And while most would stop here, there are many others who would want to take the dining occasion even further. How? Through beverage pairing. And that’s where Pepsi comes in.

Pair these delicious dishes with Pepsi and that becomes a meal that is hit sa sarap.

Pepsi is like the best friend that complements every meal made up of all good food there is. Be it with everyone’s favorite DTI-standard adobo, the crispiest chicken, the tastiest burgers and fries, the glorious inihaw na liempo, or just about anything one craves for, Pepsi literally and figuratively adds fizz to every meal. Pair these delicious dishes with Pepsi and that becomes a meal that is hit sa sarap.

As seen in the Pepsi commercial, sharing delicious meals over a Pepsi becomes not just yummier but definitely more special. What could have been just a regular lunch or dinner becomes a dining experience to remember.
Music + Good Food + Friends + Pepsi = Best dining experience. The squad is in full force for the #PepsiHitSaSarap campaign.

Star Cinema brings a different kind of movie experience via the Kathryn Bernardo-Daniel Padilla starrer film “The House Arrest of Us”

Star Cinema, the film arm of the Filipino-owned multi-media company ABS-CBN, brings a different kind of movie experience with its first digital movie series “The House Arrest of Us,” which will be seen worldwide on iWantTFC and TFC IPTV starting October 25.

Different from the usual almost two-hours-long movie viewing, the movie “The House Arrest of Us” will be divided into 13 episodes with each episode being released weekly, which viewers from different countries around the world get to watch repeatedly throughout the season.

The digital movie series also serves as the reunion project of the box-office stars Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, collectively known as KathNiel, since their last TV series and movie together. Their last TV series was “La Luna Sangre” in 2017, while it was in 2018 when they starred in the box-office hit Filipino film “The Hows of Us.”

The setting for KathNiel’s upcoming movie is based in the time when the Philippines was under the enhanced community quarantine, where everyone was mandated to stay at home due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In “The House Arrest of Us,” the enhanced community quarantine was announced at the time when Korics’ (Daniel) family went to meet Q’s (Kathryn) family for the pamamanhikan, a Filipino tradition where the man with his family formally asks the permission of the woman’s family to marry her. This forces the total opposites and warring families of the newly engaged couple to live under one roof, which will also test the couple’s relationship.

The reel and real-life couple are excited for everyone to watch their romantic-comedy digital movie series “The House Arrest of Us,” which they believe delivers good comedy and gives a peek into the Filipino culture.

“I think nami-miss na nila ‘yong ganitong style ng comedy,” Daniel explained during the media conference for the digital movie series. “Kasi it is the first time nating gagawa ng scenes na ang pagka-mount niya is isang pelikula pero ‘yong script natin is sobrang nakakatawa, hindi tayo bumibitaw sa comedy pero nando’n ‘yong puso. So do’n makaka-relate ‘yong mga Pilipino, OFW man o nandito sa Pilipinas.”

On the other hand, Kathryn is happy that their film showcases the Filipino culture. She shares, “ipapakita dito ‘yong culture natin as Filipino family. Tayo kasi ‘pag sinabi mong pamilya dadaan ka talaga sa pamamanhikan. So maganda ipakita na ganito ang culture nating mga Pinoy, na bago mo makuha talaga ‘yong kamay ng babae ito ‘yong pinagdadaanan natin kasi gano’n tayo lumaki. So nakaka-proud at excited kami na mapanood ninyo ito especially the younger generations, na ganito ang ginagawa ng mga lolo’t lola natin dati pa.”

“The House Arrest of Us” also stars Herbert Bautista, Ruffa Gutierrez, Gardo Versoza, Arlene Muhlach, Dennis Padilla, Anthony Jennings, Riva Quenery, Alora Sasam, and Hyubs Azarcon under the direction of Richard Arellano.

Will their families’ differences affect their relationship? Will their wedding push through? Find out by as “The House Arrest of Us” becomes available to viewers worldwide starting October 25 on iWantTFC and TFC IPTV, with a new episode drop every Sunday (Manila time).

Watch the entire season on demand via iWantTFC by downloading the app or watch online at iwanttfc.com, create an account, and purchase the season pass for Php 499 for those in the Philippines and USD 9.99 for those outside the Philippines.

For TFC IPTV subscribers, you may watch the digital movie series as much as you want throughout the season by purchasing the season pass for USD 9.99 (CAD 13.99*; AUD 14.99*; JPY 1, 220*; SGD 14.98*; SAR 43.50*; AED 38.50*; EUR 10.99; GBP 9.99*). *with VAT

Daniel Padilla is the face of the new Honda Ph Gen S motorcycles

“Proud ako na mapiling endorser ng Honda Gen S motorcycles. Hindi lang kasi sa porma dapat maganda, pati na rin sa features— matipid, eco-friendly, at safe sa kalsada. ‘Pag smart rider ka, dito ka sa Honda Gen S motorcycles” --- Daniel Padilla
The celebrity teen idol Daniel Padilla enjoys a handful of activities in his career—movie and television projects and international concert tours, to name a few—yet he still finds time to be a positive influence to his fans by making the right decisions. His latest exciting venture aims to further influence today’s youth, this time to make the same smart choices on the road, through riding with Honda motorcycles.

One of the most popular and talent of ABS-CBN and Star Magic and was chosen as one of the Original Pilipino Music Junior Ambassadors in promoting local music to the Filipino youth, now headlines as the newest endorser of the latest innovative breed of Honda motorcycles—Generation Smart (Gen S). Showcasing better fuel-efficiency, road safety and eco-friendly features, the Honda motorcycle sare perfect for the diverse personalities of the emerging generation of smart riders.

Designed for the young Filipino’s varying needs and lifestyles, the Beat-Fi “Let Your Beat Out”, Click 125i “Join the Evolution”, and Zoomer-X “I.Am.Unstoppable” are all equipped with the Honda Smart Technology, a unique set of revolutionary features suited for the Gen S, to enhance and create positive impacts in their everyday life.

Daniel's personal favorite among the three motorcycles, is the Honda Zoomer-X for its real naked, tough, and durable design concept that goes with a fuel-efficient 110cc engine for a cleaner combustion and higher torque power.

Perhaps the most important features of the Honda Smart Technology, the Enhanced Smart Power (eSP), Idling Stop System (ISS), and Combined Break System (CBS) encompassfuel-efficiency, eco-friendliness, and road safety, suited for every Gen S rider.

The eSP is known for its advancement in engine technology that ensures superior engine power and improved fuel mileage, while the ISS automatically switches off the motorcycle’s engine after three (3) seconds of idling (ideal for any traffic situation), and the CBS activates both rear and front breaks for a greater and safer stopping power.

All these features in the latest Honda motorcycles are preferred by Gen S riders as well as Daniel himself.
“Pare-parehong importante ‘yung features ng Smart Technology, pero gusto ko talaga ‘yung Idling Stop System kasi na kakapahinga ‘yung makinang motorsiklo, tipid pa sa gas lalo na kung trapik,”  Padilla shared.
The Generation S is a group of people who are smart and sensible—those who value practicality and technological innovation with style. All these expectations are met by the core concept of Smart Technology, which has been the cutting edge contribution of Honda Philippines, Inc. to the motorcycle industry.

As the face of Gen S, Daniel also highlights how smart motorcycle riders make choices for the benefit of others. “Dahil na rin sa gamit naming mga motor na mas tipid sa gasolina, eco-friendly, at safe, mas magiging ligtas ang kalsada natin at mas dadami ang smart riders.”
For Daniel, there’s no other choice than the Honda Gen S motorcycles. “Dito na tayo sa merong Smart Technology! Hindi ba mas maganda ‘pagtipid sa gas, eco-friendly, at safe? Sa mga hindi pa Gen S riders, ride with us na!”
