It Takes A Man and A Woman, Part 3 of John Lloyd and Sarah's Love Story

John Lloyd and Sarah will reprise their roles as Miggy and Laida in the third installment of their hit romantic-comedy movie series -  "It Takes a Man and a Woman" directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.
The tandem of John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo will once again make us smile, love and thrill the fans as the two reunite for romance comedy love movie It Takes a Man and a Woman  featuring the love story of Miguel "Miggy" Montenegro and Adelaida "Laida" Magtalas as portrayed by John Lloyd and Sarah, respectively. Let us find out as we will witness the continuation of their love story and how and why did they break-up! Will they be together again and live happily ever after?
Under the direction of Cathy Garcia-Molina, who also directed the first two films of the franchise    [A Very Special Love (2008) You Changed My Life (2009)] , "It Takes A Man And A Woman" shares the lives of Laida Magtalas (Sarah) and Miggy Montenegro (John Lloyd) four years after their break-up.
It Takes a Man and a Woman Press Conference held at Dolphy Theater , ABS-CBN Compound, March 17, 2013
From 'a very special love' that both 'changed their lives,' Laida and Miggy will start to deal with their new selves in the same old company where their feelings started to blossom. The ex-sweethearts were transformed by the deeper emotional journeys that they both went through-from the simple and obedient executive assistant, the film reveals the braver, fiercer and career-oriented Laida; while the naughty bachelor Miggy will be seen now on a new phase in his life.
According to actor-director Rowell Santiago, who played as Miggy's elder brother, Art Montenegro in "A Very Special Love" and "You Changed My Life," it is not only the public who are excited in the nearing launch of "It Takes A Man And A Woman" but all the cast members of the film themselves.

"Hindi namin talaga inasahan na manganganak at manganganak 'yung kwento. At ngayon, after four years since ipinalabas 'yung part 2, siguradong mas nananabik ang lahat sa kung anong pupuntahan ng buhay pag-ibig nina Laida at Miggy. Kaya kahit kami, nae-excite na. Magandang regalo itong part 3 sa lahat ng mga sumubaybay sa kanila," said Rowell.

Rowell admitted that he is still in awe with the huge following of Laida and Miggy's love story. "Ang nakakatuwa, hindi naman loveteam sila Sarah at John Lloyd at hindi rin naman sila real sweethearts, pero kinapitan sila ng tao dahil nagustuhan at nakarelate sila sa characters nina Laida at Miggy at kung saan patutungo ang love story nila Hindi na nila nakita sina John Lloyd at Sarah," explained Rowell.
Now that Laida and Miggy are reunited, will old feelings be rekindled? What was the real reason behind the break-up of a relationship that everybody thought was meant for happy ever after?

"It Takes A Man And A Woman" is the third installment of the hit film series co-produced by Star Cinema and Viva Films that is considered as the most successful Filipino franchise of its time.

Aside from Sarah, John Lloyd and Rowell, also part of "It Takes A Man And A Woman" are Joross Gamboa, Gio Alvarez, Matet De Leon, Al Tantay, Irma Adlawan, Guji Lorenzana, Miles Ocampo.Johnny Revilla and Dante Rivero. Well it just takes a star to get up so high
One touch of blue to paint up the sky
And it only takes a master of art
To paint a mother and child

Well it just takes the dawn to wake up the sun
One lullaby they do picked on
But these wondrous things
Aint got what it takes to make two hearts beat as one

It takes a man and a woman and one magic moment
To know their in heaven
It takes a man and a woman to feel what we’re feelin’
And aint it a miracle that you’d take a woman like me
To love a man like you

Well it just takes a rainbow river to flow
Just take something up to catch you a rainbow
And if you got some time and a ladder to climb
You’ll find the rainbows end

Well it just takes some notes to write a song
La, la, la, la, to sing along
But since Adam and Eve when feelings get strong
To do what comes naturally

It takes a man and a woman and one magic moment
To know their in heaven
It takes a man and a woman to feel what we’re feelin’
And aint it a miracle that you’d take a woman like me
To love a man like you

It takes a man and a woman and one magic moment
To know their in heaven
It takes a man and a woman to feel what we’re feelin’
And aint it a miracle that you’d take a woman like me
To love a man like you

Must Be . . . Love with KathNiel

Must Be . . . Love is about the two young boy and girl as childhood best friends Pachot and Ivan. Kathryn plays Patchot, the tomboyish best friend of Ivan (Daniel Padilla), who grows up in a family of men. Boyish as Patchot may be, she has a secret crush on Ivan but pushes aside her feelings for the sake of their friendship. It is only after Ivan becomes her cousin's boyfriend does Patchot again acknowledge what she feels and tries to see if she does have a chance with the guy whom she's loved for the longest time.
Last Monday, (March 4)  we enjoyed talking with Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, Director Dado Lumibao and writer Ms. Melai Monge who appeared during the blogger's conference held for their upcoming movie, Must Be Love. They candidly answered the questions on their personal feelings about the movie , work, friendships and relationships
Kathryn relate to the role of Patchot. "Kabaliktaran po kasi ako ni Patchot, lumaki po ako sa family na all girls kaya hindi ko napagdaanan yung pinagdaanan niya, lumaki na rin naman po ako with my dad and mom. Pero, nakarelate na po ako sa kaniya sa bandang huli, yung nagiging conscious siya, nung nagta-transform na siya."
She said that she hopes that fans of Princess and I will find their movie just as enjoyable to watch. Kathryn said there are “kilig” scenes which are wholesome but fun to watch.
At 16, she is super happy for they are giving these projects. "Sinabi po nila na hindi lahat ng nagte-teleserye nabibigyan ng chance i-prove ang sarili nila sa movie. So, nung nalaman namin na magkakaroon kami ng launching movie, super saya kami kasi nabigyan kami ng chance, simuportahan nila yung movie, kaya super saya po namin."
"Nakita po nila na natural kami, hindi yung concsious sya sa galaw, DJ very rockstar,  nag na opposite po kami pero pag kasama kami di nag clash kaya interesting nakikita nila."Daniel was asked if becoming an actor was natural to him as he is, after all, part of the Padilla clan, counting Robin Padilla as an uncle.

About new discoveries of Kathryn while making the movie?
"Sa tagal po namin ni Kathryn na magkasama sa Princess and I, parang wala na, simula pa lang, feeling ko nagtatantiyahan na kami ni Kathryn, kaya hanggang ngayon nakuha na namin yung ugali ng isa't-isa."

Direk Dado expressed admiration for Kathryn and Daniel. The two young celebrities appreciate all the people who support them. They always wave and greet to their fans even they feel tired. Direk shared to us that he never experience any difficulties in shooting with KathNiel. “Mayroon talagang mga pagkakataon na medyo mababa ang energy kasi napapagod din sila, pero madali silang kausap, madaling i-motivate, madaling pagsabihan, kaya pagsabi ng ‘action!’ ready na agad!”

Must Be...Love stars Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, John Estrada, Ramon Christopher Gutierrez, Jon "Sweet" Lapus, Paul Salas, Arlene Muhlach, Janus Del Prado, Sharlene San Pedro, Kit Thomson, K Brosas, and Liza Soberano.

Must Be . . . Love a movie from Star Cinema directed by Dado Lumibao , showing on March 13, 2013.

Kimerald Unites in Star Magic’s 20th Anniversary Offering

Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson star in "Underwear Hero" episode of Star Magic's 24/7 in Love movie

Life has a way of sneaking up on you, as a song goes and truly, circumstances can bring people together in the funniest way possible. This is something both Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson can relate to, as their tandem is reunited Star Cinema’s offering in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Star Magic, “24/7 In Love.” Kimeralds can enjoy watching their favorite team up on the silver screen again via the episode “Underwear Hero.”

In the movie, Kim plays the role of Patty, a driven young account executive who has to save her job by finding a guy who rescued his neighbors from a fire fiasco in his underwear and became an instant celebrity. Unfortunately, the guy turns out to be Gerald’s character Alvin, her ex-boyfriend, whom she has hurt from the past.

“Magkaibigan naman po kami talaga,” Kim said, even adding that her and Gerald’s career are intertwined since they won in the first “Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition.” The pair, who last appeared together in the movie “Till My Heartaches End” in 2010, were both happy to work with each other again. In fact, during the filming, Kim and Gerald proved their friendship is still as strong as ever.

Gerald also revealed that even though they did not do a project for two years, working with Kim again brought back memories.

She recalled that during the shooting, that people from the sidelines kept on teasing her and Gerald, making them laugh at times.

Kim and Gerald are very thankful to Star Magic for treating them like family ever since they stepped out of the Big Brother house. They also are grateful for Star Magic’s guidance for their careers wouldn’t have lasted six years in the industry and still going strong. Both shared they immediately agreed to the project after Mr. M (Johnny Manahan) brought it up as part of Star Magic’s 20th year celebration.

As for the lessons they have learned in making the movie, Gerald has this to share. “Minsan kasi para mapatunayan at malaman mo kung mahal mo talaga ang isang tao kailangan minsan sa buhay, you have to grow apart from each other kahit sandali lang, kahit mabilis lang, kasi kapag hindi na kayo magkasama dun niyo makikita at mararamdaman kung kayo talaga para sa isa’t-isa. Dahil ang dami niyo pang matututunan na hiwalay kayo and then when you come back together, baka mas marami kayong alam tungkol sa buhay, about yourself, at maging mas ok kayo.”

“Huwag agad agad magdesisyon. Timbangin muna kung ano yung mas importante para sa ‘yo, ‘yung pagmamahal mo or ‘yung career mo. Pero kung pwede naman isabay, pwede naman, basta know your priorities lang, pangarap mo ba o yung love mo,” Kim on the other hand shared.
Directed by Mae Cruz, “24/7 In Love” will be showing on November 21 in theatres nationwide.
