Manila Doctors Hospital opens new fully-electronic Vision Center

Eyes look very simple but could be so amazing. They are the very complicated and complex organ. Make sure to give them the attention they deserve by seeing eye doctors for a comprehensive eye exam every year or when you feel something different.

MaDocs opens new fully-electronic Vision Center with the blessing and inauguration ceremony held last March 13.

The newly renovated and upgraded Manila Doctors Hospital (MDH) Vision Center aims to be the first fully-electronic hospital-based eye care center in the country.

Designed to take advantage of the latest advancements in technology, the Vision Center features an advanced computer system that introduce paperless transaction and enables near real-time processing and transmission of results.

The Forum System is the powerful system that serves as the Vision Center’s nerve center. Patients are issued a unique ID card that stores relevant information and history. After the test, results are uploaded onto the Forum System making them available to both the patient and doctor online and near real-time which allows doctors to make faster and more accurate diagnosis whenever, wherever.
