Jollibee extends its ‘Alagang Jollibee’ promise to partner delivery riders

Jollibee has consistently delivered its Alagang Jollibee brand of customer service to ensure that it provides only the safest and highest quality of customer experience. And now, Jollibee is extending Alagang Jollibee to a vital group of people who continuously make life a tad bit easier—the ever-reliable delivery riders. They are the ones who move around and bring your food and other essentials and serve as the brand’s partner to reach more customers even amid quarantine restrictions.

To show appreciation for these hardworking riders, Jollibee goes the extra mile in thanking them by making sure they are also well cared for when they visit Jollibee stores.

Jollibee recently launched initiatives for the convenience and comfort of its partner riders, which are anchored on the values of Alagang Jollibee. Free water refills are offered, and a free regular-sized iced tea is also available upon request when they pick up orders at the store. This way, they can enjoy some refreshments before they go back on the road to bring the joy of Jollibee meals to customers.

Select Jollibee stores also provide phone charging stations so riders can make sure they can continue fulfilling transactions throughout the day. There are also stores that equip its crew with speakers and lapels for safer and more efficient coordination with riders when dispatching orders.

“We appreciate the hard work and effort of our partner delivery riders as we continue to bring our customers’ favorite Jollibee meals safely and conveniently. As part of our Alagang Jollibee promise, we want to do our part in helping them carry out their tasks while on the road. They have played a key role in bringing joy especially during this pandemic and we hope to do the same for them,” said Arline B. Jollibee will continue to roll out the above-mentioned initiatives for riders in more stores nationwide.

Late last year, Jollibee also participated in Grab Philippines’ “Araw ng Tagapaghatid” and Foodpanda’s “Ka-Panda Day” initiatives for their respective riders by giving out limited food coupons as a way of giving thanks for their service. More than 36,000 GrabFood riders and 50,000 Foodpanda riders received a free Jolly Spaghetti coupon, which they claimed in participating stores for a specific period.

It’s all in the journey: Finding love with John Lloyd & Bea’s One True Pair The Movie, a film from Jollibee Studios

Many people dream of falling in love with the right person at the right time and making it last forever, but many are left disappointed yet continue searching while some give up and find other kinds of love that work for them.

Love might be a powerful and universal feeling yet it’s anything but simple--that is at the heart of the newest Jollibee Studios film, One True Pair The Movie, starring the country’s most iconic love team, John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo.

The film tells the story of Ian and Gela, two famous celebrities who were once a popular on-screen tandem for many rom-com movies over the years. Ian, dubbed the “Prince of Philippine Cinema,” took a short break from showbiz while Gela continued being a top celebrity.


After his break, Ian and Gela reunite once again as they work on a project together. In their musings and conversations, we see how they are as real people, how they’ve matured individually over time, and their enduring friendship and love for each other.


The film is directed by JP Habac and is a deeply insightful film that shows that as people grow, so does the love they have for other people.

After the release of the film on Dec. 1 on the Jollibee Studios YouTube channel, One True Pair the Movie has amassed over 4 million views with many commenting that the film felt unscripted and surfaced the reality of what it meant to love a person and how the definition of love changes as life goes on.


The film also led the YouTube channel to grow from 652,000 subscribers before the release of the film to 704,000 subscribers to date.

The film also highlighted why John Lloyd and Bea have remained the most iconic love team in the Philippine entertainment industry for more than a decade.


“I feel that the storyline was inspired by them…I love how John Lloyd and Bea had inputted their emotions into this,” said Cheenee in a comment on the film. “I realized how humans are so complex to the point that love cannot be explained in just one tense. There are indeed different types of love,” she added.

Jollibee’s vaccinated store teams are ready to welcome dine-in customers once again
in NCR and key cities 

Jollibee,
together with its creative agency PublicisJimenez Basic, released a new Christmas-themed safety video just in time for Christmas. Titled Safe, Sarap, Saya ang Pasko sa Jollibee, the joyful and vibrant video shows the lengths to which the number one fast-food chain in the Philippines will take to ensure that customers can safely enjoy their favorite meals with family and friends this holiday season.

“We know how much Filipinos love being together and bonding over good food especially during the holidays. As restrictions ease and more stores reopen for dine-in, Jollibee continues to adhere to strict safety standards to provide Filipino families a worry-free way to celebrate Christmas,” said Arline Adeva, Jollibee Philippines Assistant Vice President and Head of Brand PR, Engagement, and Digital Marketing.

Set to a refreshed version of the jingle used in Jollibee’s Christmas ad from 2011, the feel-good video exhibits the safety protocols that Jollibee has in place from the moment customers enter the store or when they enjoy their favorite menu items in the company of their loved ones. Scenes of safety protocols are interspersed with vignettes of how different customers chose to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with Jollibee—in-store with their friends, chilling at home while wearing matching Christmas outfits, and at a family dinner filled with fun stories and laughter.

“Nothing is more important this Christmas than to be amongst loved ones and ever important to be safe and protected. Jollibee has taken great care to spread the message of safety and joy, and the team and I definitely felt the same as we were working on this campaign," said Director Adrian Calumpang who is also behind some of Jollibee’s recent TVCs.

Beyond following the health and safety protocols like proper social distancing, regular and frequent disinfection, contactless transactions, and putting safety seals on product packaging, Jollibee also has vaccinated store teams who prepare, serve, and deliver food to customers. The video also highlights how store teams continue to provide quality service with a smile, albeit behind a face mask.

Jollibee Studios proves that true love is one that transcends romance in new John Lloyd Cruz-Bea Alonzo #JollibeeOneTruePairMovie

Many people are looking for the one and a love that lasts and while many have been fortunate to find it and keep it, many are still searching for that person, or what the one means to them. In Jollibee Studios’ newest 30-minute film, it discusses what makes love that lasts in a poignant and heart-tugging story that brings together the country’s most iconic love team, John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo.

The pair’s much-awaited on-screen reunion definitely brought a lot of excitement among long-time fans. The anticipation and joy from the public was truly felt back in October when leaked photos from their shoot came out. When it was revealed that it was for a Jollibee project, this excited people further, as Jollibee has been known to produce memorable short films that never fails to bring joy and touch one’s heart.

In one of John Lloyd’s social media posts he said that, “Excited ako ibahagi sainyo ang #JollibeeOneTruePairMovie dahil isa to sa mga projects kung san nabigyan rin ako ng pagkakataon to share my thoughts and ideas”.

“It didn’t even feel like a shoot; it felt like I was hanging out with an old friend, so easy and comforting. Ganun siguro talaga kapag matagal mo nang nakasama, kahit lumipas pa ang panahon, may mga bagay talagang masarap balikan,” Bea Alonzo also said in her Instagram page.

Also true to Jollibee-produced films, One True Pair The Movie is directed by multi-awarded director, JP Habac. “I was very happy to take on this Jollibee project about a different kind of love. When we talk about love, it’s always about either finding the right person and spending the rest of their lives with them. But in reality, love is such a complicated emotion with so many facets. People can also love a person with all their heart without being romantically in love with them,” said direk JP. “With Jollibee Studios’ One True Pair The Movie, we wanted to talk about the powerful truth of loving someone means loving them always.”

Ginto: Jollibee and McCann Worldgroup Philippines release special Kwentong Jollibee on Hidilyn Diaz’s inspiring journey

While the whole nation rejoiced and celebrated the historic feat of Hidilyn Diaz during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, not everyone knew of the hardships that she had to overcome to reach her dream of winning the country’s first Olympic Gold medal. Now, her story of “lakas at puso” which made all that possible is immortalized in Jollibee’s latest Kwentong Jollibee, “Ginto”.
