Reader’s Digest Releases List of Most Trusted Brands in PH for 2021
These local brands assure consumers that they remain on their side no matter what
(Manila, Philippines)– The world is still living in interesting times—with the ongoing pandemic still posing risks and consequently, governments around the world imposing lockdowns to flatten the curve. Just like in the previous years, Reader’s Digest commissioned an independent online poll conducted by market research firm Catalyst Research to identify the brands that continue to win the hearts of consumers amid the new normal. Over 8,000 respondents from the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan filled out questionnaires to identify the brands they continue to trust from more than 50 product/service categories.
“Perhaps, more than any other year previously, trust has been the guiding human emotion we’ve all had to rely on to navigate through our day safely,” said Reader’s Digest Asia Editor-in-Chief Louise Waterson. “For the brands themselves, trust matters when it comes to weathering a crisis, and ultimately, trust is built on the traditional foundations of quality, consistency, honesty, and delivering on your promises.”
Waterson also underlined the importance of keeping a good relationship between brands and consumers. “In terms of the current situation, with this pandemic, that also means getting proactive and reaching out to your customers like never before. It’s very much about maintaining a relationship with that particular individual.”
For the Philippines, the Most Trusted Brands were exclusively revealed in the June 2021 issue of Reader’s Digest Philippines. These winners are being recognized for continuously working hard to keep the relationship they have built through the years and for assuring the valued consumers that they remain on their side despite the odds.

Who can join?

How to join
To register for the promo, the Petron Loyalty Card holder simply needs to visit the Petron promo microsite at https://bit.ly/3hfp7MP and fill in the following information — (1) Loyalty Card number; (2) First Name, Middle Initial, Family Name; (3) Birthday; (4) Mobile Number; and (5) Home Address. You only need to register once.
Proof of vaccination
After filling up the required information, you will need to upload your photo holding your vaccination card showing either 1st or 2nd dose. The photo may be in .JPEG, .JPG, or .PNG format with file size up to 5MB.
Other Panalo Bakunado details
Once you qualify for the promo by completing the requirements, you will receive an SMS notification on the registered mobile number of your Petron Loyalty Card. It will indicate your raffle reference number as proof of promo entry.
Registration to the Panalo Bakunado promo will run for two months, from July 1 to August 31, 2021. Winners will be drawn on September 6, 2021, and will be informed via registered mail. You can only win once in the promo, and in case your name is drawn twice, you will get the prize of higher value.
Prizes will be delivered to the winners through a prize certificate. Petron will shoulder the 20% tax for prizes exceeding Php 10,000. Prizes are transferable but cannot be converted to cash.
Winners of the motorcycle grand prize must redeem the unit at the local motorcycle dealer within 90 days from receipt of the prize certificate. Registration and other related expenses are not included.
