LOL “Love On-Line” Web Show with Robin Padilla and Mariel Rodriguez

Real life couple Robin Padilla and Mariel Rodriguez will be launching their Reality TV show online which they called Love On-Line (LOL) that will kick off today (August 19) at their UstreamTV channel – http://www.ustream.tv/channel/pinoyrealTVLOL: Love On Line will show their life as husband and wife.
Love On-Line show will showcase their travels together where they will be streaming the video clips that Robin took like the food, sceneries and important details about their tour. The Love On Line will be a regular show that will be streaming every Sunday at 3 in the afternoon in their UstreamTV channel. This will be showcasing other topics aside from travel.

Mariel excites her to share their travels and stories to their followers who supported them as a couple which she also mentioned that their relationship is continuously working in progress as they keep it strong and happy.

“I love Robin so much, he makes me smile and laugh. He gives meaning to my life. I thank God for all the blessings I receive, and one of them is Robin. Just thinking of him makes me smile. Mahaba pa ang daang aming tatahakin sa buhay but I am not afraid because I know he will always be there beside me. Just thinking of him makes me smile. I am happy and contended with my life. I'm at peace with myself,” Mariel said.

She has no qualms sharing her life with Robin with everyone who cares to watch it on the web. “We have good intentions, we want to inspire. Malaking factor ang nakikita mong may ngumingiti kapag magkasama kami ni Robin. And we owe it to these people.” Mariel said during a mini press conference held  at Sir Boy’s Food Republique in Panay Avenue, Quezon City August 15.

“One of the reasons why we’re going to do it this way is because Robin is in ABS-CBN and I’m with TV5. It’s the only way we can have to have a show together,” she explained.  The show is on the internet is simple, they belong to different networks , the only way the fans of the couple will see them together is in neutral ground – cyberspace.

“We’re doing this dahil maraming naniniwala sa love namin, at para na rin sa mga hindi naniniwala, pati na rin sa mga nag-ju-judge. So ito, papakita namin sa inyo na puwede itong mangyari, na may ganitong klaseng love.”

“Dati wala akong pakialam sa housework or sa kitchen,” Mariel laughed. “Ang collection ko noon Chanel but now bumibili na ako ng bone marrow sa grocery!”

“My first job on TV was for GMA Network’s Extra Challenge, and that’s a reality show so I’m really used to having a camera follow me around. Si Robin naman he’s been an actor for so long so sanay na sanay na din siya dito.”

“In this modern world of exclusive dating and living in, I suggest taking the plunge when you know it’s love. That’s what I did, and everyday I’m living that life. This is my new life—being the wife of an action superstar, the wife of a Muslim. My new web show is about our differences, our similarities, our everyday life, and our journey together. The show reflects the world as I see it. And my world is Robin.”

Mariel cancels birthday party as gesture of sympathy for flood victims last week. So instead of hearing well-wishers say “happy birthday!” Mariel would rather be greeted with a hearty “congratulations!”

So, congratulations Mariel! Good luck and be blessed always!

Philips CitiScape: Street-style Inspired Headphones

They say inspiration comes from everything, in every form. Sometimes, it can come from across the globe - from the streets of New York, Tokyo or even Paris. And I think that's where these latest headphones from Philips got their inspiration - the Philips CitiScape headphones collection.
Comes in three different designs inspired by three world's most love cities, Philips brings New York, Tokyo and Paris closer to our hearts, ears and style.

A taste of the concrete jungle
If you’re inspired by urban adventures that only the concrete jungle of New York City can give, Philips promises that the Philips CitiScape Downtown headphones will allow you to experience NYC wherever you may be. The Downtown gives just the right touch of the smart-casual street style that New York is known for.

The Downtown comes in a sleek and sophisticated design that you can easily match with free-flowing dresses, jeans or even boots, making these headphones truly quite fashionable. And best of all, says Flameno, the audio quality of the Downtown is what makes it a must-have.

Finely tuned 40mm drivers deliver clear, natural and balanced sound. That kind of audio quality for its market is hard to top. A built-in microphone allows you to switch from your music to your phone calls easily, while its MusicSeal feature allows you to immerse yourself in the city’s sights while keeping the noise away from your music.

Similarly, the Philips CitiScape Uptown “packs a mean punch with high precision sound,” says Flameno, with memory foam cushions that assure a comfortable fit and long-time listening every time. The Uptown is also equipped with MusicSeal that lets you keep every beat of your music to yourself. Furthermore, the Uptown, inspired by classy and savvy urbanites, sports an anti-tangle cable and air-quilted headband.

Embrace the City of Love
From America to Europe, the CitiScape collection channels romance and chic Parisian fashion with the Philips CitiScape St. Germain. This set of headphones sets itself apart from the collection nicely as they are in-ear headphones inspired by Paris’ boho charm.

Flameno describes the St. Germain as “funky and elegant,” and explains that it is designed to give total comfort while producing soft and natural sound. The St. Germain may not come in full headband headphones form, but it still does a pretty good job of keeping the noise out with its noise isolating ear caps. Pair the St. Germain with casual summer boho outfits such as long loose skirts, crop tops and sassy sandals to represent what Paris is all about.

Hear the gentle beats of Japanese pop culture
Of course, Asian cities can never be bumped off the list of the most influential street cultures, and one of the best examples is Japan. The Land of the Rising Sun comes alive in the Philips CitiScape Shibuya, on-ear headphones that are lightweight, breathable, and inspired from Japanese pop culture.

“You can strut in style with these headphones, while blocking out unwanted noise with its auto-fitting noise isolating cushions,” says Flameno.

Walk around wearing the Shibuya while expressing your own personal style, with vintage items, leather jackets, or if you’re feeling bold, dress up like a cosplayer to seal the deal.

With these fashionable yet high quality headphones, Philips is at the forefront of the headphone market as it continues to bring meaningful innovations to improve people’s lives. And I can't wait to have one of these!

Let’s go ! It’s really an enjoying shopping! And enjoy a wonderful world everyone!

Ballet Philippines presents ANTING

On September 14 to 16, 2012, Ballet Philippines performs its second season offering, Neo-Filipino: Anting.
Anting brings to life pre-eminent dramatist Tony Perez’s libretto that explores the world of talismans and amulets of Filipino magical traditions. It is made up for four separate movements, each depicting a specific kind of amulet and its powers.

Each movement is interpreted through dance by noted Filipino choreographers: BP artistic director Paul Alexander Morales, BP associate artistic director Christine Crame, BP alumnus and E-Dance Theatre artistic director Gerald Mercado, and Airdance artistic director Ava Villanueva-Ong. They will work with the music of noted musicians Jed Balsamo, Jerrold Tarod, Teresa Barrozo and Israel Rodriguez.

Anting promises to take audiences to a different world, one that is altogether historical, traditional, and familiar yet edgy and unusual in approach. As the 43rd Season: Dragon Song continues, Ballet Philippines keeps the magic and wonder alive in us all.

Neo-Filipino: Anting has six (6) performances at the CCP Little Theater: Friday, September 14 at 3pm and 8pm; Saturday, September 15 at 2pm and 6pm; and Sunday, September 16 at 10am and 3pm. Tickets are at P600 (matinees) and P1000 (evening shows). Student and senior citizen discounts apply. For tickets, call Ballet Philippines at 551-1003 or Ticketworld at 891-9999.
