MAFBEX 2017: The Ultimate Foodventure

Seeking to restore the child-like curiosity and wonder that once defined our relationship with food, the Manila Food and Beverage Expo or simply, MAFBEX invites everyone to go on the “Ultimate Foodventure” as it returns to deliver its 11th installment on June 14 to 18, from 10:00am to 8:00pm at the World Trade Center Metro Manila.

Organized by MAFBEX Events Management, a subsidiary of Worldbex Services International, and presented in partnership with the Young Hoteliers Exposition (YHE) and the Organization of Bar Professionals (OBP), MAFBEX 2017 is set to occupy a total of 15,000sqm of exhibition space as it expects to house over 500 booths – thereby anticipating no less than 50,000 visitors throughout its five-day run.

In line with this year’s theme, MAFBEX 2017 will be all about diversity. With that said, apart from showcasing a huge variation of the most outstanding homegrown food brands, visitors are bound to get a taste of international flavors with dedicated booths for foreign exhibitors. Among the participating countries include Italy, Spain, Vietnam, and Malaysia.

Indeed, MAFBEX shows are nothing short of overwhelming. To ensure that visitors enjoy all that it has to offer with much ease, comfort, and efficiency, MAFBEX will divide its aisles into product zones including Franchise, Equipment, Food and Beverage, Condiments, Packaging, Kitchenware, Organic Products, and Halal.

Beyond your usual food expo, another unique component of MAFBEX is its signature event highlights. Gearing to make a comeback this year are the YHE Competition, which turns the spotlight on up and coming culinary students; Chefs of the World, a series of live cooking demos by locally and internationally renowned chefs; the Franchising Zone, a hub where interested entrepreneurs may get in touch with the hottest franchises in the market; the highly anticipated MAFBEX Seminars, and last but not the least, the MAFBEX Culinary Cup Home Chef Edition, an amateur cooking competition that aims to recognize talented home cooks. This year, P30,000 worth of cash and other prizes await the winner.

Over a decade since its first edition, MAFBEX continues to be hailed as the biggest and most sought-after food expo; one wherein friends and families may gather round to explore new tastes and flavors as well as enjoy other fun and exciting food-related events and activities. This time around, MAFBEX seeks to promote a sense of adventure not only among foodies but also within communities of trade professionals who are looking to explore business opportunities within the F&B industry.

Amaia opens ‘Eat City’ at Amaia Scapes Pampanga

Amaia Land once more rode on the enormous popularity of food parks by recently launching Eat City at Amaia Scapes Pampanga, a 19-hectare sprawling development on Magalang-Angeles Road in Mexico, Pampanga.

It is Amaia’s first Eat City in Pampanga, dubbed as the country’s culinary capital.

Eat City features a group of food concessionaires that offer a wide variety of Filipino comfort dishes, grilled specialties, and other freshly cooked meals.

Since its opening last May 19, it has been luring entire families and barkadas looking for casual but robust food fare.

At Eat City, foodies make their choices at hawker-style stalls and stands and dine, al fresco, in an atmosphere of fun and camaraderie.

Bright lights complement lively music, engendering friendly vibes and encouraging people to interact and share a table with other guests—mostly Amaia’s residents and homeowners and walk-ins from neighboring communities.

This wholesome scenario is precisely what Amaia envisioned when it put up Eat City in other Amaia properties such as Amaia Scapes General Trias in Cavite and Amaia Novaliches Estate, which comprises Amaia Series Nova, Amaia Steps Novaliches, and Amaia Square Nova.

In fact, Amaia Land executives aver that the opening of its newest branch of Eat City gives potential buyers a glimpse of how life as homeowners in Amaia Scapes Pampanga would be. “It is a life that is enriched by a strong sense of community fostered by goodwill and friendly vibes,” they affirm.

Amaia Scapes Pampanga is a property development that offers well-designed, high-quality residential units and amenities that prospective homeowners will take pleasure in—refreshing patio greens, a swimming pool, and a clubhouse on a tree-lined spine road.

Eat City at Amaia Scapes Pampanga is open Thursdays through Sundays, from 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight. While there, customers and guests who would like to know more about Amaia Scapes Pampanga may likewise check out Amaia’s model units.

Committed to providing affordable quality homes to Filipino families, Amaia Land offers buyers flexible payment schemes such as cash, deferred cash, and in-house and bank financing.
