ONE DIRECTION 'ONE WAY OR ANOTHER (TEENAGE KICKS)’ THE OFFICAL RED NOSE DAY 2013 SINGLE

The world's biggest pop band, One Direction, have teamed up with the UK charity, Comic Relief, to record the official 2013 Red Nose Day charity single, creating their own unique take on the Blondie classic 'One Way Or Another.'
The single is produced by Julian Bunetta, and will available as a download starting 17th February, 2013.

2013 marks the 25th anniversary of Red Nose Day, the charity Comic Relief's biannual fundraising event. Originally launched on BBC1 on Christmas Day 1985, the idea for Comic Relief was to make the public laugh with specially commissioned sketches and routines while simultaneously highlighting and raising money for the then crippling famine situation in Ethiopia. Before long Red Nose Day was created, a charity telethon that brings together the cream of UK comedy and entertainment for one night of fundraising - the first Red Nose Day in 1988 raised an incredible £15million.

Since then, Comic Relief has gone from strength to strength raising over £600million to date for those in need in Africa and in the UK, with Red Nose Day becoming one of the biggest charity events on the British calendar. This year's event takes place on Friday 15th March 2013.

In January this year the band visited Africa to see for themselves why much needed money has to be raised, and also witness first hand the amazing work Comic Relief do.

One Direction will forgo any royalties due to them and therefore will not receive any payment in connection with this charity single.

In just over 14 months One Direction have sold over 15 million records globally. They have taken home a BRIT Award, 3 MTV Video Music Awards, 3 Teen Choice Awards and 3 MTV European Music Awards. Their second album 'Take Me Home' has to date reached No.1 in over 35 countries. This Spring, the band will begin their sold out World Tour in the UK, which includes a massive nine shows at London's O2 Arena. The band will document this journey and give fans a behind the scenes look into their lives with the release of their 3D concert film on August 23, 2013 in the UK, directed by acclaimed documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock (Super Size Me).

The Return of a Champion Harris "The Hitman" Sarmiento is back to defend his PXC Lightweight Championship

PXC is set to rock Manila AGAIN on February 16th, featuring a Lightweight Championship & some of the best rising stars of MMA from the Philippines, Guam, California, Hawaii, Japan, & Korea.

For people who can’t get enough of action, there’s nothing better than watching a good old fashioned brawl. Come February 16, there is going to be plenty of that and more inside the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City as the Pacific X-treme Combat, Asia Pacific’s biggest and best mixed martial arts organization, once again rolls into the country with PXC-35.

PXC has already established a name throughout Asia Pacific and its arrival in the Philippines last June 2011 cemented their reign as the premiere MMA organization by attracting the best fighters from the all over the world. With its most recent installment, PXC again makes its way to the Philippines to put a show in front of thousands of MMA fanatics.
“We are very excited to kick off the year with great matchups at PXC-35 in the Philippines,” says PXC CEO, EJ Calvo. “The card features fighters from all over the world along with rising MMA talent from the Philippines,” Calvo adds.
PXC-35 scheduled 9 action-packed fights to be headlined by a Lightweight title fight between Filipino talents Harris “The Hitman” Sarmiento (35-24) and Isaiah Ordiz (2-0). Coming off a disappointing loss to fellow Filipino-American Mark “Mugen” Striegl in PXC-34 last November, the veteran Sarmiento is set to bounce back and defend his belt against the young blood, Ordiz. This is surely a battle between a veteran and future star of the sport.

In addition, the match between American Alvin Cacdac (11-9) and undefeated Hawaiian Louis “Da Last Samurai” Smolka also draws attention primarily because the winner will most likely be the next contender for the Flyweight title currently held by Filipino fighter Ale “The Young Gun” Cali.

The PXC-35 fight card also includes Team Lakay’s Troy Bantiag (4-1) vs. Guam’s Tony Reyes (5-5), Japanese Chuji Kato (3-1) vs. Korean Top Team’s Hong Seung Chan (2-0), and Hawaiian Ronald Jhun (24-24) vs. Swede Zebastian Kadestam (3-0).

Other homegrown Filipino talents featured on the night are Dario Banario (2-0) vs. Joseph Mercado (1-1), Ruel Catalan (1-2) vs. Ernesto Montilla Jr. (0-1), Adrian Hillana (1-0) vs. Steve Grandeza (0-1), and Glenn Ranillo (1-2) vs. Mark Billena.
PXC-35 expects nothing but fireworks all night as fighters punch, kick and sprawl their way all for the glory of being crowned PXC victors. “We hope to see everyone at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City on the 16th of February and we promise you that it is going to be an exciting night of fights,” Calvo says.

PXC-35 is presented by San Mig Strong Ice and Sports 5. With special thanks to E-Games, Fitness First, FHM Philippines, FHM.com.ph, Premiere Condoms, Healthway Agility Phil, Beer Below Zero, Eden NightClub, Real Sports Radio, and Loqal.ph.

Taste the art of ramen in an authentic Japanese cuisine: Kokoro Ramenya

Kokoro Ramenya serves a wide selection of authentic Japanese ramen and other popular Japanese dishes. This restaurant opened its doors to Filipinos last April 18, 2012.

Kokoro Ramenya is a new Japanese ramen restaurant along Roxas Boulevard, Manila. The restaurant prides itself for having a great selection of popular regional Japanese ramen prepared by head chef and ramen connoisseur, Susumo Murata.

Kokoro Ramenya even has its own Japanese noodle-making machine to ensure noodles are of the highest quality and served fresh daily. Chef Murata highly recommends the Karakuchi-negi, Seafood Sapporo Ramen, Gomamiso, and Kokoro Ramenya original.

I love all the food I tried in this authentic cuisine. Their house specialty - Hakata Classic

Hakata Classic is rich and creamy Tonkotsu noodle soup topped with kikurage (mushroom) , chashu (pork)  and flavorful super soft-boiled egg!

According to Kokoro Ramenya , it is boiled for 18 hours and that's why this noodle is superb! If you crave for a warm noodle soup, here will satisfy you so much!

They also serves popular ala carte dishes, sushi platters and affordable special lunch set to provide a delectable Japanese dining experience to everyone.
My fave California Maki
Chirazi Sushi -
a bowl of sweet vinegared rice topped with fresh salmon, tamago, kani, ebi and unagi
Mixed Teppanyaki - seafood, beef, pork, chicken and mixed vegetables
Kakiage Tempura
Crabstick salad
Crispy California Maki
Gyoza, four pieces of pan-fried Japanese dumplings
Beef Teppayaki <3
Spicy Tuna Sashimi
Ebi Tempura
Tuna Teppanyaki
And for desserts . . . .

The coffee jelly and ice cream - combination of coffee, milk, and vanilla ice cream
Black Sesame Ice Cream - Black sesame syrup drizzled on vanilla ice cream
I ordered this Green Tea Ice Cream !

Spacious and bright, this Japanese restaurant’s casual cozy interior with a view of Manila Bay, adds to a relaxing dining experience perfectly shared with family and friends.

There are friendly and accomodating staff of Kokoro Ramenya

I love how nice,  elegant and minimalist interiors of Kokoro Ramenya.

KOKORO RAMENYA: Brand History

Two Japanese friends were chatting over their Japanese instant noodle lunch when they suddenly had a great idea of putting up an authentic Japanese ramenya in Manila. After a year of research, various cooking experimentation, food tastings and a few Filipino friends’ support, Kokoro Ramenya was born. It was the passion for perfecting the quintessential hearty Japanese meal, the RAMEN, that made Kokoro Ramenya what it is today. Soup broth is cooked meticulously for 18 hours to achieve its unique delicious flavor and ramen noodles are made fresh daily to ensure the right creamy texture and flavor. All this for a slurpingly good meal in Kokoro Ramenya.
