Expect an afternoon of fun-filled activities on April 16 at SM Megamall Atrium!

Foursquare, a location-based social networking site for mobile devices where users “check-in” at places through smartphones, text message or apps, is coming up with a special holiday for Foursquare aficionados – the much-anticipated #4SqDay! 

#4sqDay is all about community: reaching out to people through establishing business or personal relationships via social networking. #4sqDay or Foursquare Day is celebrated as a way of acknowledging the impact Foursquare has made in the lives of its users. 2013 Bb. Pilipinas Fashion Show : Binibinis Jazz Up the Runway at the Big Dome

Country's loveliest jazz up the runway at the Big Dome yesterday, April 11. They didn’t do Shamsey’s Tsunami or Janine’s  Cobra walk, but they ruled the runway just the same.

Clad in “Heritage” gowns by acclaimed fashion guru Pitoy Moreno and casuals from JAG, the fifty aspirants of the much coveted Binibining Pilipinas titles and current queens Ms. Universe 2012 1st Runner Up Janine Togonon, Binibining Pilipinas- International 2012 Nicole Smitz, Bb Pilipinas Tourism 2012 Katrina Dimaranan and Ms. Supernatural 2012 3rd Runner Up Elaine Kay Moll recently sashayed down the fashion ramp of the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

It was fitting tribute to the Philippine’s fashion czar and esteemed Binibining Pilipinas executive Board member.

Directed by Raymond Villanueva, the show featured choice outfits that ranged from elegant gowns to fun and sexy formals. The fifty candidates were clustered to parade different fashion concepts, mirrored through the Moreno collection and accompanying music. JAG provided casuals that were spiced up by accessories from the Binibini collection.

The Fashion show is the last of many activities that the fifty candidates engaged in the past months. The ladies also participated in a slew of charitable events including an Operation Smile mission conducted in Sta Ana Hospital in Manila. After this, the candidates are going to be busy with rehearsals en route to the Grand Coronation Night to be held on Sunday, April 14 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. This will be aired live on ABS-CBN Channel 2. 

The coronation night is expected to have an array of equally stylish former beauty queens who captivated the international pageant stage such as former Miss Universe queens Gloria Diaz and Margie Moran and Miss International winners Precious Lara Quigaman, Aurora Pijuan and Melanie Marquez. More than 70 of these former queens are expected to don their classiest gowns when they walk down the red carpet and grace the cocktails at the Grand Atrium of the Big Dome on pageant night.

Other notable beauties to grace the affair are Miss Universe 1999 1st Runner Up Miriam Quiambao, Miss Universe 2010 4th Runner Up Venus Raj, and Miss Universe 2011 3rd runner up Shamcey Supsup. 

The coronation night will be staged at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, and to be aired live on ABS-CBN. It will be hosted by seasoned artists Martin Nievera and Dawn Zulueta togehter with Venus Raj and Shamcey Supsup.

ONE Fighting Championship™ (ONE FC), in association with Universal Reality Combat Championship (URCC), returns to the fight capital of Asia on Friday, 31 May, with the highly anticipated first title defense of hometown hero ONE FC Featherweight World Champion Honorio “The Rock” Banario. Banario will put it all on the line when he takes on Japanese submission specialist Koji Oishi. Plus, pound-for-pound king Bibiano “The Flash” Fernandes returns to the famed ONE FC cage when he squares off against Japanese MMA sensation Koetsu Okazaki for the ONE FC Bantamweight Interim Title. All the action will take place at the 20,000-seater SM Mall of Asia Arena in what is expected to be the greatest fight card ever compiled in ONE FC history. After selling out arenas throughout Asia it is finally time for ONE FC to return to the Philippines.

ONE FC Featherweight Champion Honorio “The Rock” Banario is one of the top Mixed Martial Artists in the world today. He is a member of the legendary Team Lakay where he trains alongside fellow ONE FC fighters Eduard Folayang and Kevin Belingon under head coach Mark Sangiao. Banario comes from a Wushu background, an ancient Chinese martial art whose practitioners are recognizable by a diverse range of striking techniques. Despite his striking credentials, five of Banario’s eight wins were by submission, proving how versatile he really is. Banario captured the ONE FC crown when he defied all odds by defeating his fellow countryman Eric Kelly at ONE FC: RETURN OF WARRIORS via TKO. Banario will be looking to hold onto his title when he battles the ever so tough submission specialist from Japan, Koji Oishi.

Koji Oishi is a 35 year-old Japanese mixed martial arts veteran and former Lightweight King of Pancrase. He comes from a wrestling and karate background and is renowned for leaving everything on the line in brawls against some of the best in the business, including Chris Lytle, Carlos Condit and both of the Diaz brothers.

ONE FC Bantamweight World Champion Soo Chul Kim is currently undergoing shoulder surgery and will be out of action for an indefinite period of time. Therefore, ONE FC officials have decided that an interim ONE FC Bantamweight World Championship title will be introduced until Kim is ready to make a comeback. 

Bibiano “The Flash” Fernandes is undeniably one of the best fighters in the world today. His never-ending gas tank, explosive take-downs and lighting fast strikes have garnered him a huge fan base amongst Asian and international fans alike. Fernandes made his ONE FC debut in August 2012 at ONE FC: PRIDE OF A NATION where he defeated journeyman Gustavo Falciroli via unanimous decision. A veteran who has fought countless Japanese fighters, Fernandes will have his toughest test yet when he battles Japanese sensation Koetsu Okazaki. 

Okazaki is the latest top Japanese fighter to sign for ONE FC and is one of the most experienced fighters in the entire bantamweight division. He is a tenacious competitor known to never back down from any opponent. Okazaki specializes in submissions but he is not afraid to go toe-to-toe with anyone if that is what it takes to get the win. Okazaki knows that a win over Fernandes will get him the global recognition that he deserves and the ONE FC Bantamweight Interim Title wrapped around his waist.

Album Launch : Fat, Salt and Flame by Sandwich on April 12
