Habitat for Humanity Philippines and BPI gives thanks with Zalora

Habitat for Humanity Philippines (HFHP), a non-profit organization that serves Filipino families in need of decent homes, bring together partners who share the same vision of transforming lives through building responsible and sustainable communities.

Recently, Habitat for Humanity Philippines (Habitat), Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), and Zalora Philippines (Zalora) launched a promo that encourages BPI Cardholders to help Typhoon Haiyan (local name Yolanda) survivors by shopping online.

“People have the heart to help, but sometimes don’t know how,” says Habitat CEO & Managing Director Charlie Ayco. “This partnership with BPI and Zalora is a good and easy way of doing so as we now move towards rebuilding the lives of those affected by Haiyan. We have a long way to go and every amount helps in giving these families back their homes.” ends Ayco.

Habitat aims to distribute 30,000 Shelter Repair Kits and build 30,000 core shelters for those affected by Haiyan depending on availability of funding.

BPI VP for Marketing Strategy and Development Angie Florentino says that “with BPI’s more than 1 million credit cardholders, and Zalora being the leading online fashion store in the country, we hope to generate a lot of donations while they shop.”

“Thank you, Habitat and Zalora for undertaking this role with us as we continue to help those who survived Haiyan,” Florentino adds.

“Thank you for letting us be a part of this initiative,” Zalora Philippines Co-Founder and Managing Director Paulo L. Campos III says. “We are very excited in launching the promo with BPI. I’m sure our online shoppers will be thrilled with the 15% discount voucher they will receive when they donate to Habitat.” ends Campos.

The BPI-Zalora promo is open to all qualified BPI credit card holders. BPI cardholders may donate a minimum of P1,000.00 using any BPI Card variant via www.give2habitat.org/philippines/ReBuildPhilippines

They will then receive a 15% ZALORA discount voucher code via e-mail which may be used upon checkout when they shop at ZALORA.COM.PH. Discount is not valid for sale items and brand exclusions apply. Terms and conditions apply.

Promo is from March 15 – June 15, 2014.

And in as much as they don’t want to talk about it, what many don’t know is that these sufferers have their own habits or routines that allow them to simply manage this silent troublemaker - but not really addressing it completely.

This event features two of the country’s well renowned talents – “The Sexy, Young Actress and Comedian” Ms. Angelica Panganiban and “The Dance Diva” and successful businesswoman, Ms. Regine Tolentino. The event was so fun having games with the media guests.

Dulcolax aims to be more relevant to their silent sufferers by letting them share their experiences and how they deal with their constipation with the help of Dulcolax.

The event also features the Medical Manager for Consumer Healthcare of Boehringer Ingelheim, Dr. Melvin Pasay whose main goal is to de-mystify the myths and misconceptions surrounding constipation and the use of laxatives so that the silent sufferers understand that they need not suffer in silence more so suffer at all from constipation when Dulcolax is there. He also share information on Dulcolax as the brand that offers a full range of stimulant laxatives, from Tablets, Suppositories to Syrup that targets the colon, resulting to the stimulation of the colon, and softening of the stool.

This truly reinforces the expertise of Dulcolax given its efficacy and safety profiles and how it offers predictable results.2 No wonder it’s #1 in the market and has been present for more than 60 years, trusted by millions all over the world.

Furthermore, Dulcolax, through its brand manager, Ms. Jo-Ann Ramos also highlight Digital as their main platform to promote the activities for the Big Move Campaign as she steps on the stage.

“We are very excited to launch this campaign and to have both Ms. Angelica and Ms. Regine join our team. It will be an exciting time for us because we know how they can help us change millions of lives for the better. Now our sufferers need not suffer in silence. They now have someone to relate with whether they’re young go-getters or multi-tasking moms. All they need to do is to see what Angelica and Regine are doing or saying in our Facebook page, Colon Care PH and realize that there is a way to move on from constipation.

Both will offer tips, advice and many other things regarding management of constipation with Dulcolax, the Kontra Constipation Expert,” Ms. Jo-Ann Ramos shared about The Big Move Campaign.
