nanoe™ is a nano-sized particulate ion produced by applying a high voltage to water in the air and contains hydroxyl radicals (highly reactive components) that easily act on various substances. The production of these hydroxyl radicals has been increased tenfold compared to conventional products, and nanoe™ X is used in home appliances such as air purifiers, air conditioners, washing machines*A, and refrigerators, as well as in automobiles*A, trains*A, and commercial air-conditioning equipment because of its various effects such as deodorization*2 inhibition of bacteria*3 and allergens*4

Not only the automotive sector but Panasonic will continue to pursue the realization of "QUALITY AIR FOR LIFE" in various areas of our lives and society, including, automotive, housing-related fields, and home appliances like selected models of air conditioners, refrigerator, and air purifiers to deliver a healthy lifestyle.

Breville Gives You A Chance To Enjoy It Without The Guilt

Love Frying?

This Smart Oven Air Fryer will change the way you experience fried foods forever.

Millennials may get a lot of flak sometimes for being the woke, forward-thinkers that we are, but nobody can deny that our generation does have some of the brightest, most innovative perspectives the world has seen. We’re the generation that gave voice to a lot of new trends and insights—the masters of creating ‘new traditions’ that will most likely be carried by future generations.

Take home lifestyle and general health for example. What used to be mundane and boring have now become overarching trends—a personality set even. Millennials have paved the way in waking up the world to the importance of healthy living and the romance behind this perspective. This, of course, also ushered in a new kind of demand when it comes to home partners as the majority of homemakers started looking into kitchen aids that can match their lifestyle expectations.

This is where Breville comes in. An international premium kitchen label that has perfected the art of producing home partners that makes food preparation easy and healthy, the brand has continuously stepped up its game over the years to help consumers be masters of their kitchens. And though the brand has concluded its 10th anniversary in the Philippines last 2020, it has more surprises on its pipeline that every forward-thinking homemaker will surely love. Case in point, the recent launch of its newest product: the Smart Oven® Air Fryer.

The third generation of Breville’s best-selling pro ovens is a perfect example of a kitchen partner that just #GotSmarter. The Smart Oven Air Fryer is also armed with a smart algorithm that creates an ideal cooking environment that makes food prep friendly and easy even for beginner cooks.

Love frying your food but craving to find a way to make it healthier? Breville is inviting you to join their “Hey, Home Fryer!” online launch event which will put the spotlight on the brand’s newest kitchen item and the many ways you can enjoy fried food with it. The session will also feature culinary luminaries like Chef Waya Araos-Wijanco (Executive Chef and Owner, Gourmet Gypsy Art Cafe, Mental Health Advocate, co-founder of Open Hand School for Applied Arts), Chef Gem Tee (owner, Salta Ristorante), and other passionate home cooks who will share heritage and modern recipes that you can add in the roster of your culinary traditions. As experienced kitchen masters in their respective fields, they will also be sharing insights and advice that they’ve learned over the years.

The event is open to anyone and will be available via Breville’s Facebook Page on April 24, 3 PM. Don’t miss out on the chance to get a first and intimate look at the Smart Oven® Air Fryer in action and the many healthy culinary creations you can create with it.

Jolina Magdangal shares how she takes care of her family in the new normal

Juggling many things at once is normal for Jolina Magdangal. Apart from being one of the momshies of the morning talk show Magandang Buhay, she runs the vlog #JolinaNetwork and takes care of her two kids, Pele and Vika, with her husband Mark Escueta. Magdangal also makes time to pursue hobbies like diamond painting, working out, and being a #HalamaNanay. But with the pandemic, she was forced to adjust her priorities and make changes to her family.

May times na busy sa Magandang Buhay pero pag walang taping, usually dito lang ako sa bahay with my family. May mga nagbago samin, tulad ng anak ko na nag-homeschool. We decided to do homeschooling kasi mas naging priority namin ang safety niya, and we want to experience yung pagiging hands-on din sa school niya,” the mom reveals.

Even if Magdangal is used to doing so many things at once, she admits that homeschooling can be a struggle. It’s also a new experience for her and her husband since they are not teachers. Still, she takes on the challenge because “masarap ang pakiramdam dahil anak namin yung tinuturuan namin at rewarding ang feeling pag natututo at malaki ang development.”

Another change in the Magdangal-Escueta household is their attitude towards going out. If in the past, they can just get up and go, they now take extra precautions. Magdangal says, “I must admit, may pagkapraning ako na baka yung makasalubong ko or yung kausap ko ay positive sa COVID-19. Dumami ang dala-dala kong gamit kasi ang dami kong disinfectant.”

She also taught her kids hygiene habits to protect themselves and stay clean at all times. They learned to wash their hands and to carry alcohol and wet wipes. When going out, they wear their face masks even in the car, and they take showers as soon as they get home. When Magdangal and Escueta return home from work, the kids already know to stay in one room and wait until their parents have showered.

These precautions are second nature to Magdangal, who has always prioritized her and her family’s health. She says, “Pag may nararamdamang masama ang anak ko kahit ano pa yan, binibigyan ko talaga ng pansin. May pagkapraning kasi ako sa mga sakit.”

She believes in giving them the right medicine and the proper dosage, at the right number of times. For fever, she trusts Calpol.

Pag iba na ang pakiramdam and parang iba ang temperature, naka-monitor na ako. As soon as pumatak sa 37.8 yung temperature, Calpol agad.”

Calpol for Kids is a paracetamol-based suspension which can be given to infants and children ages 0-12 years old. It can treat mild to moderate fever and pain associated with discomfort after vaccination, toothaches, headaches, migraines, muscle aches, sore throats and musculoskeletal pain. Calpol for Kids starts to work on fever in 15 minutes and is gentle on kids’ tiny tummies.

Her kids also love the Calpol strawberry and orange flavors. According to Magdangal, “hindi ako nahihirapan painumin. Tsaka sinisimot pa.”

Times may be tough, but Magdangal has advice for everyone in the new normal. She says, “kung ano man ang nararamdaman nila, hindi sila nag-iisa. Laban lang nang laban lalo na para sa pamilya. Mas malaki tayo sa virus kaya wag natin papabayaan ang sarili natin.”

Besides, there are things to look forward to in the future. For Jolina, she’s hoping to continue vlogging, book more endorsements, and shoot a movie. She wants to learn to cook and bake and she and her husband want to start a business. The family has milestones to celebrate like the kids’ birthdays and her 10th wedding anniversary.

Everything may have changed for families around the world, but Magdangal says that there are three good things that came out of this pandemic: “mas lalo pang na-appreciate ang worth ng family, wala nang mas hihigit pa sa prayer, and yung idea na ‘prevention is better than cure.’”

Def Jam Philippines Brings Together Al James, Legit Misfitz, K24/7, and Calvin De Leon under Rekognize for ‘Atin Ang Gabi’

Def Jam Philippines continues to push Filipino hip-hop with its flagship project Rekognize. Centered on collaborations, Rekognize brings together artists from different corners of the current music landscape to create something bigger than the sum of its parts. Rekognize is now poised to continue its longterm project with another heavy roster of artists for Atin Ang Gabi.

 Listen now: DefJamPH.lnk.to/AtinAngGabi

Rekognize does a good job of finding a common wavelength between artists of different styles and backgrounds, and Atin Ang Gabi is testament to that. The track is a posse cut that plays to the strengths of each artists featured: new wave prince Al James, fresh up-and-comer Calvin De Leon, as well as veteran hip-hop outfits Legit Misfitz and revived R&B gem K24/7, honing in on a steamy and exciting vibe.

“It’s a song about making the night ours, about lovers getting to know each other” Dash Calzado of Legit Misfitz shares when asked about the concept for Atin Ang Gabi “It’s sexy, a little mischievous, it’s a little naughty, but also clever.”

Arranged in a way that gives each featured artists their proper due, ‘Atin Ang Gabi’ begins with Al James’ signature deep voice crooning the hook, juxtaposed by R&B veterans K24/7 backing vocals. Rising hip-hop artists Calvin De Leon throws his own hat in the ring with a mix of his vocal chops and strong bars, backed up by Legit Misfitz fast harmonizing cuts with verses of their own.

Rekognize is Def Jam Philippines’ flagship project of uniting various people from hip-hop culture. Bringing together artists in such a wide landscape across the Philippine archipelago is a huge feat in itself, and for Def Jam Philippines it’s a reality. Rekognize reaches towards the underground and the mainstream, the old and the new, and bridges them together to join forces and make ways towards the rest of the world. More collaborative projects will be released this 2021.

Atin Ang Gabi revels in the pleasures of the night — the glistening lights, the electricity in the air — and turns it up a notch with a symphonic track that doesn’t let the dust settle. Not only is Atin Ang Gabi another extraordinary feat of hip-hop unity, but also an indication of where it can go forward. A confident track backed by a stacked roster of artists, Atin Ang Gabi speaks to its own truth about love and what excites us about it.

About Def Jam South East Asia

Since its game-changing launch, Def Jam SEA has already paid its dues several times over, flexing its musical chops  at high-profile showcases such as 2019’s Culture Cartel convention in Singapore, and helping to usher in global sports  retailer JD Sport’s entry into the Thai market during the brand’s massive launch party in Bangkok.

With hip-hop’s influence spanning the globe, it was only a matter of time before Def Jam slung its brand of dope directly in South East Asia, arguably the most excitingly fresh frontline for new, boundary-pushing music. The label has also  been busy bringing in more stellar talent from across the region into its fold, adding Abubakarxli of Malaysia, Indonesia’s  Ben Utomo and Rayi Putra, and welcoming Vietnam and the Philippines to the family, represented by the likes of  SeaChains and VVS Collective, respectively.
