Skyro officially launches its credit line product Skyro Pocket
Skyro Pocket serves as a flexible line of virtual credit provided exclusively to existing Skyro customers, offering personalized limits and accessible through the Skyro app. These credit limits can be further increased based on the customer’s timely repayment patterns and track record.
This new feature is compatible with a wide range of QR Ph codes, enabling customers to conveniently make payments at any store. Whether it's a printed or virtual QR code, Skyro Pocket accommodates both modalities. This compatibility extends to popular e-payment platforms such as GCash, Maya, or BDO QR codes, ensuring integration with various merchants and payment systems.

Additionally, customers can make a free deposit once every month to settle their credit line balance, with subsequent deposits each incurring a nominal transaction fee of ₱25.

Singapore, May 2024 – International insurtech firm discovermarket announces its launch in the Philippines, starting with its partnership with Globe Telecom Inc. - the leading full-service telecommunications company in the Philippines, to launch its embedded Personal Cyber Insurance product.

The coverage also provides claims assistance service in the event of a cyber incident. The product will be made available for new and recontracting Globe Platinum subscribers who hold Plan 3799, Plan 4999, and Plan 7999.

“I was working on another anime called Slayers, in English, and it just happens that the people who cast me in that were doing the casting for Pokémon. So, I auditioned for it and there were many callbacks and I happened to get the role. It was uncertain at first if I was going to keep it, and it just kind of went on and on. It's one of the most challenging and joyful roles I've ever had. I love playing Ash; he was this ten-year-old boy full of courage and positivity. It really changed my life because I think I took positivity for granted before this. Now, I realize how important it is. I get to travel to Comic-Cons all over the world because people love Pokémon. There's something about Pokémon that people just love and identify with, and luckily, I can be the bridge between their childhood and their memories. It’s such an honor to be a part of people's lives in this way. I'm looking forward to Pokeverse and meeting everyone!"
