YOUNG JV, a Filipino Popular R&B singer, hip hop/rapper, announced the release of his debut album under Star Records titled “Doin’ it Big!” at a press conference last Friday, October 12.
“We worked on it for a year and we basically did a lot of
styles of music that the youth and young adults will surely appreciate–from hip
hop, R&B, acoustic, house, and more. And through it, I was able to shows my
different emotions,” said Young JV, who starred in a number of teleseryes and
was part of Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson’s blockbuster movie hit “Won’t Last
A Day Without You.”
Produced by Star Records and Doin’ It Big Productions,
“Doin’ It Big” features 10 tracks including its carrier
single-turned-dance-craze ‘Your Name’ which Young JV sang with Pinoy Big
Brother Teen Edition 4 big winner Myrtle Sarrosa. Also part of the album are
his special collaborations ‘Boy Meets Girl’ with Yeng Constantino, ‘Alay’ with
Akiko, ‘Rock This Town’ with Laze and Yumi, and ‘Hurts So Bad’ with Karylle.
Completing the tracklist are ‘Get Up And Dance,’ ‘Kailan Kaya,’ ‘Tanong,’ ‘Got
To Have You,’ and ‘Pinas.’
Young JV’s “Doin’ It Big” album is now available on record
bars nationwide for only P250. The tracks can also be downloaded via
www.starrecords.com.ph, and www.mymusicstore.com.ph.
