Awareness is the key to prevent HIV or AIDS. Todays’ social media is a great avenue to make
this happen.
This year’s theme ” UNITE” aims to bring together all the advocates across the world,
including celebrities, political personalities, online influencers and
others, in support of UNAIDS
vision of Zero new HIV
infections, Zero discrimination and Zero AIDS-related deaths.
PROJECT Headshot Clinic 2012 entitled UNITE (#HSCUnite) happened last October 24 at
Mango Tree in Bonifacio Highstreet, Taguig City has been very successful. The
Project Heashot Clinic, on its fifth year is known to be the Philippines’
biggest online photo project that supports the HIV and AIDS prevention and
awareness.
Simultaneous changing of profile photos on personal
networking sites on December 1, World AIDS Day, happens to create buzz and help advocates to spread to the
world how important is HIV-AIDS awareness. This photos were taken by Niccolo
Cosme and the HSC team.
