"One More Try" was
proclaimed Best Picture during the 38th Metro Manila Film Festival Awards night
held at the Meralco Theater in Ortigas, Pasig City on Thursday, December 27. The awards night was hosted by Kris Aquino and KC Concepcion.

“El Presidente” was named
2nd Best Picture while “Sisterakas” won 3rd Best Picture.
Nora Aunor of “Thy Womb” the Best Actress award and Dingdong Dantes won the
Best Actor award for the movie “One More Try.”
Brillante Ma Mendoza won Best Director for "Thy Womb."
