Sylvia Sanchez |
“Mama’s Girl” tackles issues facing parents and
children today.
"We want to start the year right by giving our audience
something that will inspire them more to embrace change, make more time for the
people who matter most and live life to the fullest," shared Roselle
Monteverde about Regal Entertainment Inc.'s latest offering that will hit
cinemas nationwide this January 17.
Roselle Monteverde, said yesterday’s bloggers conference
that she cried after watching the final edit of their new film Mama’s Girl.
This movie will definitely melt the hearts of those who will watch this, even
if you’re a mother, a daughter or a full pledge “mama’s girl.”
"Mama's Girl" will somehow open an issue and try
to bridge the gap between the thrill-seeking millennials and the overly
concerned older generation.
Sylvia Sanchez was among the most beautiful faces of the
’80s. The veteran actress earned the highest honors in 2017 as she played the
part of a memory-challenged mother in TV series, “The Greatest Love.’’
At her age right now, Sylvia shared that she never dreamed
that her career will sudden reach it's highest peak to date after The Greatest
Love.
Following the success of ‘Greatest Love’, Sylvia plays another important role again in an inspirational movie .
After playing so many mother roles on TV and in films –
usually conservative, martyr-like, and frumpy, losyang in her own words, Sylvia says this movie shows a
different mother “Ibang tipo naman
ng nanay ang makikilala ninyo dito, makabago, fighter, a millennial mom. Kung
Sylvia considers her first movie this 2018 as a blessing.
“This “Mama’s
Girl” movie will touch your heart and make you appreciate your family
especially your mothers more,”said Sylvia.
At Mama’s Girl” movie, Sylvia and Sofia as mother and
daughter facing the challenges in life.
naranasan o narararanasan nila ang pinagdadaanan ni Mina (her role in Mama’s
Girl).
Sylvia is very thankful to all the projects and blessings
coming her way especially to Arjo and Ria who already has their own career and
has a name of their own in the entertainment industry.
As she described herself, as what kind of their mother,

served as an eye-opener. "My character Abby and I are a bit on the same
phase wherein we want to try to be more adventurous to the point that we
sometimes overlook our parent's concern. Sa movie, young people like me will
realize that there are life lessons that we need to learn the hard way at wala
mo." Sofia's recent movie with Regal Entertainment was Pwera Usog.
