Yellow Cab recently wrapped up its So Worth It! The Yellow Cab Pizza Tour, with thousands of hungry hustlers fueled by the iconic pizza joint to chase their so-worth-it aspirations this 2019.
Yellow Cab’s multi-legged event mobilized the hardworking crowd of Metro Manila, Baguio, and Davao, serving up Yellow Cab’s bestselling pizza with a hefty dose of positive energy from inspiring musical performances. To keep the momentum going, participants were also handed limited edition Pizza Passes, which they can use to redeem discounts when they dine in at Yellow Cab stores and order their favorites.
“Today’s generation of hustlers are very passionate about their goals, but this doesn’t mean that they are immune to challenges that make them stop and ask if what they do is even worth it,” said Charlene Sapina, Head of Marketing Operations for Yellow Cab.
“That’s why we at Yellow Cab ran the first ever Pizza Tour in January, to make sure that hungry hustlers everywhere get the powering head start they need to prove that the chase is not just worth it, but so worth it.”
Folk-pop band, Ben&Ben headlined the tour’s kick off at Eastwood Central Plaza in Quezon City, where they also debuted two new singles as a special treat to their fellow hustlers. The fast-rising act seem to be destined for greatness with their back-to-back hits and sold-out gigs, but life in the fast lane wasn’t always this rewarding for the group. To help them get through the hardships that came with the pursuit of their craft, they leaned on each other for support, and Yellow Cab to satiate their hunger.
Yellow Cab’s exciting list of so-worth-it performers in Eastwood also included indie rock group Oh, Flamingo! and high-octane spinners DJ Miaow and DJ MVRXX.
Over in Baguio City, hundreds of hustlers flocked to Baguio-Ayala Land Technohub to witness some of the City of Pines’ hippest acts, including soulful spinner DJ Jethro, punk-pop group Amateurish, and lo-fi post-rock band Turncoats.
Davao City saw veteran spinner DJ Ryan setting the mood for the evening of festivities, followed by an acoustic set by One Life Band, and Pilipinas Got Talent grand finalist and Davao’s favorite boyband Next Option.
“Music and good food go perfectly well together,” shared Sapina. “We partnered with these artists not just to complement Yellow Cab’s offerings, but also to inspire people with their success stories. Their rise to prominence is a product of hours of hustling and beating the odds, and all their efforts are really so worth it.”
While hustlers everywhere can still look forward to more exciting activities from Yellow Cab, the So Worth It! The Yellow Cab Pizza Tour will go down in the brand’s history as another successful shot at delivering generous, edge-to-edge flavors while giving modern day hustlers the unrelenting drive they need to succeed.
