PLDT Enterprise will feature Dave West, President for Cisco Asia Pacific, Japan, and Greater China (APJC), as one of its panelists inthe upcoming Philippine Digital Convention (PH Digicon) 2021 on October 6 to 8.
With the theme “REVOLUTION,” the PH Digicon 2021 will introduce several thought leaders and global technology experts to present business and tech insights that will help drive digital enablement among enterprises in the country and region.
Together with other prominent speakers and guests, Mr. West will speak at the convention’s opening plenary session to discuss revolutionary technologies or the advancements adopted by global companies during the onset of the pandemic, its role in digital transformation, and how it changed the way businesses operate.
The panelists during the PH Digicon’s opening plenary session include PLDT Chairman Manuel V. As the APJC President of Cisco, Mr. West develops the strategy to accelerate business growth, and works to ensure that Cisco APJC is the most trusted and relevant information technology solutions partner and provider in the industry.
He has over 25 years of experience in the information and communications technology industry and is a 20-year Cisco veteran. He works closely with customers and partners to support their evolving needs in today’s digital, hybrid and cloud-first world.
Within Cisco, Mr. West collaborates with teams to design and implement innovative go-to-market models for customers’ multi-year digital transformations. He is also passionate about driving a people-first, trust-based culture, creating opportunities for employee growth, and building diverse, high-performing teams.
Before his role in Cisco, he held the position of President and General Manager for Cisco Japan. He also led Worldwide Sales for Enterprise Networks, where he supervised the sales, solutions, and engineering motions to deliver innovation and transformation across Cisco’s core portfolio.
Likewise, he became the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Architectures Leader for Enterprise Networks, Data Center, Security, and Collaboration in the Asia Pacific and Japan. He focused on capturing market transitions, delivering sustained competitive leadership, and driving growth across all technologies.
PH Digicon 2021 is the country’s most prestigious thought leadership event that will highlight industry experts and leaders in various industries to discuss business solutions and trends that could help companies transform their organizations and thrive in this ever-changing business landscape.
